Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

@Mariabombia I am on month two of mine still seems to be ok, can you take it back to where you got it from maybe? Or ask them to replace it?

@RMS0209 Sorry I didn't mean one use! I meant if worked for one cycle and now I've started using it for the second the battery seems to have died.

It was an Amazon one so always a bit of a faff to send back!

Just a bit annoying as I thought it would last for a while haha.

How're you getting on this month?

Sometimes it's easier to leave it be with amazon. Boots often have them on offer so IF you need next month see what they have!
I'm ok, not feeling very confident this month don't think DTD enough. Clearblue annoyed me as I went from O to static smile! Grr but done it this two days so hopefully I caught the beginning.
Last month was just tracking to make sure all was ok.

I got a positive this morning on a digital and a first response. It doesn’t feel right posting a pic after catching up with the thread and seeing some sadness.. I’m so sorry to read @jazmine38 and to anyone who’s af has turned up. Xx

According to Clue, I’m on day 31 of my 29 day cycle, and my period is due in 2 days 🧐

I had one, horrible cramping pain last night, lasting about 30 seconds. I assumed it was the start of AF, but nothing since.

Going to buy a test today!

AF has arrived!
Ovulation apparently on the 28th.
I hate how obsessive this all is.

@kizzy97 I’m 9dpo now and full of covid so not hopeful this month and really hoping covid won’t mess my cycles up. I’ve been having pineapple everyday since O day though 😂😂 I’m willing to try anything at this stage!

Sad update from me!

Got my BFP last weekend and then it stayed very faint all week. This morning I was due AF and she turned up in full force so sadly another chemical. I’ve been through them twice before and each time I’ve had a normal pregnancy after so I’m not too upset but still not a great feeling as you get excited for a pregnancy. I kind of had a feeling all week though that it was headed that way.

So back in the game at CD1! Will jump on the Feb thread as that’s when I will be testing next :)

@Tinkerbell098 oh no! Well everything crossed for you! Hopefully the pineapple works! Might see if I can find some money lying around to get a test to do in the morning...still feeling sick but not as crampy as yesterday (still the odd twinge) it's getting really hard not to get my hopes up at this point!

Hi everyone its my 5th cycle ttc after a stillborn & cp last year, hope you dont mind me joining. Planning on testing on 18th, if AF doesnt turn up first.

Had some really bad cramps 7,8&9dpo and sore lower back, headaches on & off, slight fatigue but no sore bbs which is weird because since my stillborn last year every time i am due AF they are horrendously sore. Hoping its a positive sign.

Congrats to all those that have their BFPs this month & FX for those that are still waiting.

I actually am okay, shed a few tears this morning but it was my first cycle and I wasn’t expecting it to be that straightforward as I’ve had chemicals in the past. In some ways I felt a sense of relief that I knew either way as I’ve been stressing so much this week at very faint tests and a feeling that it wasn’t progressing. At least this way I can look forward to a new cycle!

It’s different for everyone and I remember my first chemical pregnancy being absolutely devastating so I do understand the feelings that it can evoke.
