Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

Will tag everyone I can see below... please join if I missed you!

Just wanted to say @oldermam sorry for your FIL loss, I lost my dad last year. Hope you get your BFP as some good news

Moonshine160 · 14/01/2022 20:44

@jazmine38 so sorry to hear that :(
I’m a little worried as I’m getting a lot of cramping too tonight.

madeleine85 · 14/01/2022 20:50

@jazmine38 I am so sorry for your loss, hope you are ok and sending you a bit virtual hug x

@HelloNope that looks like it could well be the start of something, fingers crossed for you in the coming few days x

HelloNope · 14/01/2022 20:54

@madeleine85 do you really think so?! Just asked a friend and she said she can't see it.
Haha, so confusing! I'll try again tomorrow.

Thank you

kizzy97 · 14/01/2022 21:03

Well af still hasn't come (today anyway) so hoping this is a good sign and she stays away! Monday seems so far away to get a test and it'll probably be Tuesday morning before I actually do because fmu, this is the closest I've come since I started trying in October so I'm on edge!

Moonshine160 · 14/01/2022 21:07

@HelloNope that’s what my test was like yesterday on one of the cheapies :) I did a First Response this morning and got a nice positive x

HelloNope · 14/01/2022 21:09

@Moonshine160 oh don't get me excited! Lol
I'm going to go back to have a look at a photo of your test if you posted it?
When was your AF due?

arianasky · 14/01/2022 21:43

@HelloNope I could see that straight away no need to zoom in hopefully it progresses 🤞🏻

HelloNope · 14/01/2022 21:53

@arianasky I'll test again tomorrow morning and let you all know. I'm thinking it's nothing because surely the line would be much darker by now at 13/14dpo.

How are you getting on?

jazmine38 · 14/01/2022 22:20

@arianasky I hope my bleeding starts soon. I'm on blood thinners and the bleeding will be intense😭 chemical pregnancy's are just shit. That's actually the reason I test so early cardiologist would change meds if pregnant. Anyways baby dust to you for this cycle xx

AmberRH1993 · 14/01/2022 22:21

Evening ladies, very strange turn or events this evening... I got my opk peak Wednesday so would now be 2dpo.
Had some cramping but thought nothing of it and put it down to ovulation pain. I came home and noticed pink cm when wiping.

Is it too early for implantation bleeding??

oldermam · 14/01/2022 22:21

Thank you ladies 🥰

Fingers crossed for you @kizzy97 it sounds promising !!

mightbeyesmightbeno · 14/01/2022 22:59

Think I'm out :( bleeding getting slightly more and have my normal AF low down cramps :( I absolutely hate this TTC ... why has my body been so clockwork until the last few months?! This is so frustrating. Will be 4 days earlier than normal. Which also means a much shorter luteal phase for me this month. It makes me start to worry that my cycles are naturally changing because I'm getting older. Probably over-reacting, but it's frigging frustrating when I feel like I've been clockwork for years... and now the last 3 months my body has decided to change.

Def going to mentally blame it on my booster and try to just move on to next month.

At least I don't have as long to wait until next fertile window I guess.

Grrrrrr 😡😡😡

IntergalacticP · 14/01/2022 23:35

@HelloNope I can see it without zooming or the helpful arrow lol.

It can't be an evap if it was within the timeframe- I doubt it's an indent because even on the photo it looks pretty pink.

Can't really comment on the darkness tbh, I haven't used that brand of cheapies and they all tend to be a bit different. Especially can't with no other tests to compare to iyswim?

If you're sure of when you ovulated and you're after your predicted period date, maybe worth getting a digital? Can't be any question about it if it says pregnant in words!!

madeleine85 · 14/01/2022 23:55

@HelloNope I saw something without squinting/opening, so I really hope that this is it for you and it isn't just a dodgy test. I think I found day 2 of testing the worst for nerves, as day 1 I was very aware it could just be an indent. Fingers crossed for you. I had a test like yours but on a FRER on DPO 10, and I had the telltale cramping 3-6DPO which was very early. I think most people are 6-9DPO for implantation, and then it takes 3-5 days to get enough HCG to kick off the test line (5 being more likely especially in the cheapie tests), so where you are with your cycle might be bang on for you. Annoying that we aren't all the same!

@AmberRH1993 it really could be anything, but also my implantation was 3-7 DPO but really hurt day 4, I think it woke me up in the middle of the night it was so sharp. Day 3 I got niggling cramps. Sending baby dust your way x

@kizzy97 Tuesday feels so far away!! You have so much willpower :)

@mightbeyesmightbeno sorry your AF arrived, i'm betting it is the booster. At least you get a fresh start now and you know if you get pregnant then your little one is coming in with some antibodies.

AmberRH1993 · 15/01/2022 00:27

@madeleine85 thank you ❤️ I naturally assumed that implantation bleeding occurred just before AF or around 8dpo but its obviously not the case. Even if it's ovulation spotting.. I'll be happy that I'm back to fully ovulating again after the pill.

melbxldn · 15/01/2022 00:33

@kizzy97 I’ll test on Tuesday too but will only be 12dpo. If your AF still hasn’t arrived by then you will def be pregnant, you are the most strong willed woman I “know” ha

madeleine85 · 15/01/2022 00:38

@AmberRH1993 totally there with you. Sometimes it is just nice to know that your body is doing what it should, and is ovulating after all the hormones we pump in! Good luck for this time around x

Gizzy93 · 15/01/2022 04:40

9DPO and I've woken up with gastro 😭

HelloNope · 15/01/2022 07:09

@Gizzy93 Oh no! I hope you feel better soon. Gastro is bloody awful x

@madeleine85 @arianasky @IntergalacticP @Moonshine160 definite negative this morning. Bit sad. Hoping AF comes today so I can move on.

arianasky · 15/01/2022 09:04

@HelloNope I'm sorry how annoying that line looked so promising 😞

arianasky · 15/01/2022 09:05

@jazmine38 I hope it hurry's up for you, ah I see, i hope you're feeling ok? I'm thinking of you 💕

1yearTTC · 15/01/2022 09:09

CD28 for me and no sign of AF. Cycle is usually between 27-30 days. Weird that I'm actually a lot less bloated than usual around this time of month. No spotting either which usually comes a few days before. Fingers crossed. Curious... anyone ever had less bloating the month they had BFP? I've been eating a sh** ton of food too lately.

kizzy97 · 15/01/2022 09:52

Still no af and knicker checking like a mad women 😅

@melbxldn I hope so! But at the same time can't help but think she just fancies coming a little later this month! Fingers crossed for you on Tuesday as well!

@madeleine85 It does and the anticipation of if af is going to show up is going to make it 10x longer! I've only got the willpower because I've got no choice 😂 would be testing right now otherwise!

@oldermam thank you! I really hope so! Think I'm going to be more gutted this month if not now because this is the first time since I started trying that af is technically late! I have everything crossed for you as well!

RMS0209 · 15/01/2022 10:19

@Gizzy93 hope you are feeling better this morning.
