Anyone due to get BFP/AF at Xmas?

The pressure is on... in the TWW and AF is due right around Xmas. Spending the holidays with my in laws, and both wanting to drink through the holidays/not drink as in the TWW. I’m also dreading a little bit of feeling down if I get AF right at Xmas. If anyone is looking for a TWW companion/obsessor here I am ☺️. Hi, can I jump on this thread.
We're in fourth cycle of TTC. Currently 10 DPO using OPKs. Started feeling nausea on Saturday in waves, terrible nausea yesterday and actually vomited twice. Did a test this morning (after not sleeping a wink convincing myself I was) and BFN.
Is 10DPO too early or do I just have a stomach bug? AF due boxing day.

@Tigerlilyxx It can be too early yes. When I was pregnant with my son I had a BFN at 12dpo and the BFP at 14dpo. I was using cheapies though and the FRER I took on 14dpo was blazing so I think if I'd have used that earlier I would have got a line. What test did you use?

Sorry new on here so not sure of the acronyms, not sure on FRER. But I did use a clear blue ultra early, BUT having looked back of my dates AF due 26th is with a 28 day cycle but my last three months are 30 day cycles so I'm probably not due until 28th anyway, which might be too early. But then it's probably not morning sickness either if my hormones levels haven't risen either yet

AF arrived today and DH tested positive for covid so is now isolating in the spare room, thankfully feeling ok. Very Merry Christmas!!

Ah TTC is such a roller coaster, bloody sick of it now. I've had horrendous fore boobs, feeling sick and been dry heaving for days and today I've just wiped and there is light brown mucus so looks like AF will arrive tomorrow as planed!

@i123i thank you, woke up today thinking it was all over as was feeling a little bloated as that is my pre AF day sign. Not sure though, the weird boobs are still there. Never had this before. From googling it looks like another progesterone side effect though and a lot of ppl get it and don't get BFPs, so trying to not get my hopes up.

@oldermam and @Pinkyflipflops I have promised myself that i'll hold off POAS until 10 DPO which is tomorrow. For some reason the lure of double digits makes me wait. Though last time I did that on day 10 and then wiped and AF was there. Total waste of a FRER. Let me know how you get on please, we must be in sync this cycle. It seems that every cycle so far i've had different and confusing signs. With my DD I had none, except I stopped shedding hair in the shower, and had cramps I thought were AF coming. Yesterday my husband was like your hair looks great just now and my response was... well none has come out in 5 days. So he is now convinced, even though i'm not... I think i've believed the symptoms and been burned too many times now. It would be perfect to tell him at Xmas as a present, but also, if AF comes I can drink the wine advent calendar he got me which I haven't touched the 2nd half of!

My nausea is on another scale. I'm just constantly eating to keep the yucky taste away. Just piling on the weight 😩🙈

I also have sore boobs, and extreme tiredness 😴

Symptoms actually get worse as the day goes on. I wonder if it's worth testing in the evening instead

Yessss @oldermam go on and test! I need to know lol. What tests are you using? I just checked my internet cheapies and saw they are 10 mIU/ml. Didnt realise they're were that sensitive, I feel even more pessimistic now ☹ I've got one frer but dont want to waste it.

I really dont think this is my month, but if it is, I will wrap the test and give it to my husband on Christmas as well. A bit cheesy but this will definitely be my last pregnancy (if I'm blessed enough to get pregnant) so I will go overboard with everything 🤣

@Tigerlilyxx - yes that could still be too early to show a BFP. You’re not out until AF shows up.

Still no symptoms here, 7dpo…I’ll try and resist and do my first test at 10dpo 🌟.

I won't be testing again until the morning. This is driving me mad 🙈🙈

@oldermam you have to let us know the outcome! I've developed lower back pain throughout the day and I'm off to Tesco to buy some more tests. Period was due 5 days ago - I've never been this late!

I'm 8dpo and so far signs are looking good 🤞🏼

@RAP08 that is truly so strange that you are this late but not positive yet. Fingers crossed for you that the next test shows the BFP, keep us updated!

Packing for xmas week away, leave in an hour and haven't started yet, complete disaster lol. Trying to figure out how many tests to take/if I should take any at all, I feel like I am chancing fate by packing a bunch. Maybe i'll take 2 and a bunch of tampons to weigh this out lol.

@madeleine85 it's so bizarre. Either way I wish a bfp or af would show as the waiting is driving me nuts!!!!!

Jumping aboard, hi there! AF due today and..nothing. I am pretty sure we were too late to the party for this month but my next FW should fall around NYE so I'm optimistic about 2022. Might hold out to Christmas Eve and if still no AF then I'll treat myself to a FRER then.

Up way too early! Another bfn at 10dpo. I tracked ov with sticks and had my peak 10 days ago. Not sure what's going on. Maybe I should rule out uti (I suffer with them a lot. Maybe I ovulated a little later. Who knows. It was an Asda cheapy. I still feel very nauseous. I am actually physically sick once I reach the evening. Metallica taste in my mouth all day. Sore boobs. But now I'm thinking I'm just clearly a lunatic 😩 I'm going to test with a first response on Xmas eve and not before now I think! If that's negative I'll be out buying my Christmas Day wine!

I am still here, AF due around Christmas Day. Haven’t tested at all but starting to feel like AF is on her way…slightly tender boobs which I previously never used to get but last few months I have, and low cramping. So not expecting my BFP this month but will continue to wait and see. I’m going to wait until AF is actually late before testing!

@oldermam can you be physically sick that early on even if you are pregnant? Average day for implantation is CD9.

If you’re using to getting a UTI, I’m sure you would sense this either is or isn’t one. 🤞🏻 It’s the BFP you hope for - some people have v early instincts on these things x

@RAP08 I ovulate late in my cycle and last time didn’t get my BFP until several days late, wishing you lots of luck with your next test!
