Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

@lakejupiter I just had some FRER ones delivered as I done an Amazon order for other stuff anyway and the 2 pack that was on offer the box looks completely different!!!

@SMD16 oh for goodness sake! Get it sent back, that's really not fair or good.
Superdrug have them on order. (Sorry I feel bad if this is the ones I sent into the chat :( )

Found this review too which matches what I've found, so left box is same as what I've received and right is how they normally look.

I know right @SMD16 !!! I'm not sure if they are old stock or knock offs or just different branding but my box didn't look like the ones in Boots! I'm sure they still work but I wonder if a) they are as sensitive and b) they have brutal indent lines.

Have noticed that there's a real outbreak of people reporting false positives/indents across the TTC threads and wonder if the dodgy Amazon ones are to blame!! My packaging looks exactly the same @SMD16

I've done a returnless refund as the items they offered as alternatives were hand wash. Really do not trust them.

@SMD16 I did one yesterday and one today. Both very very faint hints of a second line, but I now think they were indents. I didn't check for indents before I peed on them though! Today I did an easy@home strip at the same time and it was stark white BFN so not holding my breath. I'm 11dpo today

@lakejupiter I'll do one later to see if I get the same and check for indent lines. I'm 8DPO.

Oh they look a bit dodgy @SMD16. Are they in date?? Do pregnancy tests have expiration dates…? Good luck with your test!

@Pickles91 well upon looking at Superdrug's website their packaging is similar.. as in like the logo and colour scheme etc. so maybe they are legit and just different packaging just bad for indent lines.

How do I do this @SMD16 - I can only see an option to return for a refund and don't really want to send Amazon my wee sticks. Apologies for the boomer style cluelessness

@SMD16 the ones I got from Superdrug had the same packaging as the ones you received from Amazon. And they were fine for me. I did get some from Amazon last cycle but can't remember whether or not I got evap lines!! It's also still super early @lakejupiter so it may just take a few more days to show up 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 it's not over until AF arrives ‼️

@lakejupiter there was an option when you went through the refund for returnless but you get Amazon gift card balance instead.

Done the test, no Evan liens. Obv it's not with any urine hold or FMU but at least we know the tests are ok... BFN as expected as it's too early for one and not FMU lol.

If my temp hasn't dropped by Monday (CD31/13dpo) I may test again. Feel like I have testing PTSD now though 😂
