Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

So.........I did something a bit silly.

I was having cramps again on and off and have been feeling nauseous all morning. So decided to do a FRER - apologies @RMS0209 for not waiting until tomorrow, I just got all overexcited about our good luck on this thread. And I got a VERY very very very faint line (with SMU after a four hour hold), like barely visible to the human eye. It appeared right away but didn't get any darker/pinker and I half think it could be an evap rather than a faint positive. So I'm in the same position I was in before except a bit annoyed with myself and even more distracted from work 😂 I really hope next cycle I can be a bit less bonkers about all of this.

I feel like a dull ache down in that region today, had weird like fluttering yesterday. It could be gas or implantation who knows 😂😂😂

@Pops100 love our four legged friends! I also have an army of fish that seem to continuously have babies, never thought I'd be jealous of fish ha

Here we go - doctored and undoctored versions 😂 its slightly clearer IRL but there is no colour to it which makes me think it might not be real. I basically have no more information than before I did the test - kicking myself!

@lakejupituer just as I replied to you boots text saying my order is ready to collect.... now to go get it at lunch and stay safe until tomorrow!

@lakejupiter 100% will, know easier said than done but try to relax today - maybe a yummy dinner will cheer you up. And tomorrow we test again and everything will be ok x

I can see a faint line on that @lakejupiter it is very faint so I can’t tell if it’s an evap or not either but I can deffo see it on both photos. More on the doctored photo but if I zoom on the original I can still deffo see it. Keeping everything crossed for you! 🤞

Thanks @Newbiemg & @RMS0209 - will def do something nice for myself later and try to take my mind off it. Yes I can't tell if it's an evap either - glad I'm not seeing things! Posted on the conception board to see if more experienced testers have any ideas. Time will tell ❤️

I have a question so I’ve just noticed some ewcm (yay) not a lot but for me a lot because I’ve had none at all until just now. I thought yesterday was my peak and id ovulate today but my opks today have still been at peak so do you think today was my true peak if I’ve got ewcm just now or can you get that after you have ovulated?

Either way it’s good because I guess the EPO has done something then

@Newbiemg lol 😂 this month TTC was the first time I'd ever seen sperm IRL (I'm 36!) and after inseminations I kept thinking my CM was weird..... but to answer your question I do get EWCM either side of my peak - two days ish before and at least a day after.

@lakejupiter No need to clarify lol. One of my bestfriends who is a lesbian has a child from insemination with our other friend he is gay so I sort of assumed perhaps it was a similar parenting situation you may have? She did consider sperm donors which I’m sure works really well for some people but I do think it’s a nice way to do it with a friend because then you have that support from the other parent yourself and now their child has both parents in his life

But yes it’s not the nicest substance is it haha

That’s helpful to know that you had it either side of ovulation and it’s good I guess as the EPO did something even if it’s a small something!

I think I will be testing in Feb now. I was going to test early to stay in the Jan club lol but it’s going to be soon so maybe setting myself up for disappointment.

Whilst we are on the CM topic, those who are pregnant did they notice any abnormal CM around implantation estimated time?

I also know a fab coparenting couple (plus a partner) who got pregnant through insemination. The kid must be 8/9 now! He was (and I’m sure, still is) a total cutie. @lakejupiter will you tell your coparent straightaway if your test is a clear positive tomorrow?

EWCM?! Yay @Newbiemg! I think a Feb test date is a great idea. Better to know for sure than days of confusing test results.
