Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

Hope you can do something lovely to celebrate @5manc - how have you been feeling? Any symptoms?

I am a bit nervous about testing too soon. J thought tomorrow was 12dpo but it will actually only be 11dpo, is it too early? Should I wait until Sunday or Monday (12/13dpo?)

No sign of AF and my AF cramps from last night are gone, so that's something!

@RMS0209 thank you 🥲 I'm excited but also holding back slightly until my missed period! And also stressing that I will have to keep a secret for a few months 😂 xx

@lakejupiter it was mainly my backache throughout the week and just generally feeling full and bloated! The occasionally nauseous feeling too. I really thought i was making them all up and it seemed too obvious haha! That is definitely a positive sign. I'm 12dpo today and wasn't expecting the line to be so strong so 11 is probably fine but it's whatever you can hold out till! xx

@5manc oooooh I’m so excited for you! How lucky we are on this thread. Have you told your partner yet? I can imagine the nerves will remain until AF time - when’s it supposed to be due?

Will have a think re: testing. I feel like I would rather be patient and have a clear answer but at the same time as dying to know!

Here’s my bbt chart for anyone interested 🤓 I guess my temp will drop over next couple of days if AF is due

The big jump around 6 DPO then a drop, could that mean implantation?

Defs could be @SMD16 - huge spike then huge dip. First month of temping though so I'm still getting to grips with what my body "usually" does - if I temp again next month will hopefully be easier to spot things!

@lakejupiter yeah he wouldn't let me look at the test result without him! He's even more excited than me! AF due Tuesday and usually have spotting 2-3 days before so 🤞🤞

This is exciting, so far everyone who has tested has had BFP's 🥳🥳🥳

Also not sure if this has been mentioned on this thread but for anyone worrying about covid affecting your cycle, me and my boyfriend were both isolating with it during my fertile window. A true covid baby 😂

@RMS0209 I’m good thank you. May be abit quieter on here today just because work is crazy busy today booo!

I did another opk last night and this morning both still logging as peak and BBT hasnt shown I’ve ovulated yet so I think likely I will ovulate later today at some point. I think I have a long LH surge based on last cycle and this one so far.

OH has left early this morning so we can’t dtd anymore just have to hope we did enough before he went

So.........I did something a bit silly.

I was having cramps again on and off and have been feeling nauseous all morning. So decided to do a FRER - apologies @RMS0209 for not waiting until tomorrow, I just got all overexcited about our good luck on this thread. And I got a VERY very very very faint line (with SMU after a four hour hold), like barely visible to the human eye. It appeared right away but didn't get any darker/pinker and I half think it could be an evap rather than a faint positive. So I'm in the same position I was in before except a bit annoyed with myself and even more distracted from work 😂 I really hope next cycle I can be a bit less bonkers about all of this.

@lakejupiter if it makes you feel better I've been wanting to test all morning, but WFH and alone today so thought I'd get annoyed if it was negative or couldn't read it.
