Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

@RMS0209 no I didn't we're not actually that close so we haven't seen them in years and haven't even met the baby! But we saw his parents the other day and they told me the baby's name and my face dropped 😧 I do have a back up though haha. Tbh OH didn't like that name anyway lol

Oh no! That really sucks @CrazyCatLady95! I’m so glad you have a back up though. And who knows, you might completely change your mind as your pregnancy progresses and go off the original name completely!

We’ve been set on names for a while, so a little nervous of similar happening 👀

The name was Ada 🥺 I think so so lovely and unusual. But oh well that name is out of the question now so!

Sorry about the name @CrazyCatLady95 - Ada is so pretty! My younger sister just gave birth (first time aunt ❤️) and I was really worried we would have the same list of names as we have similar taste. But luckily she chose a beautiful name that wasn't on my list.

Ada is a lovely name. I can see why it was a favourite! There are so many beautiful names out there that’ll be just as lovely. We can help you brainstorm!

Knowing my luck it will be a boy and they're much harder to think of 😂😂

Boy names are so hard @CrazyCatLady95 -- I love a good gender neutral name but there aren't loads of them about

@CrazyCatLady95 well my mum had Gemma for me all the way up until I was born and then decided I didn't look like a Gemma. But I can only talk off of that experience haha

Ooh Riley is a good one @SMD16. I actually like James too as a gender neutral name. I wouldn’t have thought of it for a girl before Blake Lively though!

Wow so unusual, one of my besties has gone for the name state, gotta love an unusual name!

Me and my oh have chosen Ronnie for a boy ( just love the idea of Ron🤣🤭) and Wren for a girl .
