Hello Smile

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5 Confused

How are your new journeys going? Smile

Agreed I would love to keep the thread going as some of us may be pregnant, some still TTC so it will be nice for all of us to still have support through the different stages of our journeys 😊

Good luck for testing tomorrow and Saturday ladies 🤞✨

It’s only 7.30 am here so just catching up. But YAAAAAY for your peak @Newbiemg!

Now off to read everything else…

RMS0209 · 20/01/2022 15:42

3rd agree - defo enjoy to keep speaking to you ladies. Made this TWW a lot more bearable!

Pickles91 · 20/01/2022 15:52

Eek everything IS crossed for you for Saturday @RMS0209 @lakejupiter!

On BBT, I haven’t tried it this cycle but might on the next! OH gets up waaaay before me for work, so could use him as my thermometer reminder.

I wouldn’t mind if we had a boy or a girl, but I have a feeling it’ll be a girl if it happens. I think we’d find out though, just to prepare and I feel it’d make it all seem more real.

And another agree here. Would be lovely to stay in touch regardless of where everyone is in their journey!

RMS0209 · 20/01/2022 15:55

It's funny though I have read a few "groups" since I came on and the vibe from this group is great genuinely every day want to see how you all are doing it's so nice!
Finished work, off to Superdrug to collect from FRERns for weekend!

lakejupiter · 20/01/2022 16:01

Ahaha same @RMS0209 - initially posted on a few January threads but nice to feel "at home" on this one and only really post here now.

I am having really intense AF cramps, feels exactly like normal AF symptoms now so may be out for this month. I haven't bled yet so there's still hope but it's just a very familiar PMS feeling - stomach cramps and lower back pain. Im only CD27 and my cycles are usually 31/32 days but maybe I'm just a bit early this month. Genuinely feel okay either way though, but gonna curl up with a hot water bottle whilst I finish some work and see if things improve!

Pickles91 · 20/01/2022 16:12

AF-like cramps could be implantation! I’ve read of quite a few women who get them and think they’re coming on but then get a BFP 🤞🏼

5manc · 20/01/2022 16:24

Definitely up for continuing the thread! This group is lovely! 😊 I also posted on a couple of other groups but there are so many posts I can't keep up.

@RMS0209 tell me about it. These last few days are going so slow but hopefully Friday will fly by for you!

@lakejupiter not long until we find out now! It's so frustrating that AF symptoms are the same isn't it? But all your symptoms mentioned earlier sound promising!

@Pickles91absolutely, I think it would definitely feel more real! I get that it must be special to find out when the baby is born but I'm too impatient!

Thank you for all the wishes ladies 🤞 I will be back in the morning ahhhhh 😬✨

5manc · 20/01/2022 16:25

Sorry @Pickles91 seem to have given you a new name there! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Pops100 · 20/01/2022 16:28

Opk is looking a tad darker since holding my wee. Are you able to upload pics onto here ? I’m so rubbish with tech 🤣

Newbiemg · 20/01/2022 16:34

@Pops100 you can upload photos once you have been a member for 48 hours. When you’re go to write a post can you see a paperclip? Click that and that’s how you upload photos Smile

Shall we start a new thread on Feb 1st just a continuation of this one but so there’s less messages or just keep this one going?

OP posts:
Pops100 · 20/01/2022 16:37

@Newbiemg ahhh that’ll be why, still a fresh newbie 🤣 thank you!

lakejupiter · 20/01/2022 16:39

We could either start a new thread at start of Feb or just carry on with this one until it's full. When we set up a new one we could give it a funny name 😂

RMS0209 · 20/01/2022 16:53

I think you only get 1000 messages per thread so think with us lot we will definitely need a new chat ha ha

Newbiemg · 20/01/2022 17:04

@lakejupiter @RMS0209 Oh I didn’t know they will cut us off lol… like the name idea 😂

RMS0209 · 20/01/2022 17:15

Couldn't get the tests I needed in Superdrug.. not sure about using clear blue? What do you guys think?

Pickles91 · 20/01/2022 17:24

I haven’t heard the most amazing things about clearblue @RMS0209, but I’m sure they’d be grand at 13dpo! Can you do an Amazon order for FRER??

Love the idea of a funny name!

Good news on the OPK @Pops100! Hopefully you’ll get your peak soon

lakejupiter · 20/01/2022 17:25

@RMS0209 First response early results are on offer £6 for two on Amazon - I bought a few 🙈 mine came next day. I feel like FRER are the ones everyone raves about for testing before AF

lakejupiter · 20/01/2022 17:26

(I think the clear blue early ones are just more expensive and a bit harder to read because of the blue dye, but they are the same sensitivity as FRER)

RMS0209 · 20/01/2022 17:47

@lakejupiter I know but forgot I use my Amazon at work so... don't want anybody else seeing! Boots have and I can collect on Sat that works :)

SMD16 · 20/01/2022 18:29

Definitely like the idea of a funny name group... but what could it be?

RMS0209 · 20/01/2022 19:12

@Pickles91 sorry forgot to tag you in last post too!
Got an FRER ordered click and collect so will get it Saturday!

Yeah to the funny name too Smile

CrazyCatLady95 · 20/01/2022 19:15

I believe Clearblue early detect a level of 10 HCG (I can't remember the unit!!) and frer is 6.5 or something. Frer is the most sensitive test I believe 🤞🏼
I think I will find out the gender, why not 🤷🏼‍♀️ and I would also like one of each.
Omg guys my OHs brother has just had a baby and they have called her the name I had in mind!!!! 😩 how unlucky is that!

RMS0209 · 20/01/2022 19:23

@CrazyCatLady95 FRER for the win then!
Thanks for letting me know that wouldn't have knew.

Oh no!! No way about the name, ugh did you mention it in front of them before or? Frustrating!!
