Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

@Newbiemg that does sound unusual however at least you did get some heavy bleeding to log as your first day. I'm sure you'll get a positive opk over the next few days! 🤞🏼💖

All good here today. I think I’m nearing my peak on OPKs. Yesterday they jumped up to high so DTD last night, which is perhaps as well, as currently in bed with a headache so doubt I’ll feel up it later. I’d love to be added to that list though! Expecting AF around Feb 1st 👀 hopefully it’ll be a BFP instead!

I have started getting some pains tonight so maybe my app is right and I could suddenly peak tomorrow which would be the same day as last cycle…have to wait and see. Still no ewcm though but some clear watery which is all I had last cycle. I know EPO can take a few cycles to kick in so I’ll keep taking it if not lucky this cycle.

I just feel more ovulate-y tonight haha. Might try to dtd tonight as a bonus just incase lol

@Newbiemg all sounds very promising! I would defo dtd tonight and even if you don't ovulate until a few days it's better than being too late! Also I would test multiple times throughout the day just so you don't miss your peak! Good luck!

Got another flashing smiley this morning and negative line opk (but I know I’m not supposed to use the line ones in the morning so will test again later). Day 7 of flashing smiley.

Oh no, I don't know how you cope every day, I'm happy enough going in 2 days a week makes it go just that little bit faster!
I have Gousto delivery for making tonight so that keeps me busy until OH is home.
Sounds silly.. do you have puzzles? Them and books are a god send!

I'm feeling anxious today, as I said think I maybe left it too late with everything else. Need to stop trying to give too much though to any little symptom. But staying positive to try not test Sunday/Monday.
How you feeling about all the smileys?
I didn't know you shouldn't do the line ones in morning - I did mine that day at 9am but then when I did on the Monday it was darker, but I will keep a note for next month.

Still taking the EPO too? Wish I could get us a time machine!

@SMD16 I think they say you should use them in the afternoon because most people pick up their LH surge in the afternoon so you could miss it in the morning.

I read most peoples surges happen between midnight and 4am but it takes several hours to appear in the urine so it doesn’t get picked up until afternoon but I think if you are testing more than once a day can’t hurt 🤷‍♀️

I test morning and afternoon and sometimes evening too lol

I’m having a cuppa break atm too but I haven’t actually done any work yet so not sure what the break is from 😂

Yeah still take the EPO but not sure I’ve noticed any difference yet but it can take a few cycles.

Time machine would be good!

@RMS0209 I prefer working at home rather than seeing people 😂 I'm the same as you I think with OH being poorly we may have been too early. I would definitely love a time machine that would skip to the baby born!

@5manc wow that's an unmistakeable line for sure!! I would get hold of some frers to check because you'd think it would be too soon for that test (looks like a one-step one, same as what I've got) to pick any HCG up yet! Very exciting though!!

I’ve never had Gousto before, this is my first time! I had hellofresh before and liked it so thought try again now I have an excuse to need to fill in time.
That and tv recommendations are always welcome. Going to treat myself to a take away at the weekend too so that’s something ELSE to look forward too.

I’m 8DPO – it has been a VERY long 8days, seeing lots of people having good baby luck this month so ive got everything crossed for all of us too 😃
