Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

Hello

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

Yes still early days in terms of ttc for us

I’ve started using Premom but I also use Flo mainly but log my opks in Femometer lol so Flo thinks I’m ovulating on Monday but both Premom and Femometer say Thursday. I’m hoping no later than Thursday as OH goes away Friday and this is what happened to me last cycle 🤦‍♀️

Last cycle I ovulated earlier than expected so OH was away on my peak and I think we caught it too late maybe the day after ovulation. This cycle I feel like I’m going to ovulate later than expected and he may have gone but fingers crossed 🤞

He is more relaxed about it than me. He’s like it would be nice to have a baby this year and I’m like it would be nice to have a baby tomorrow 😂

Haha I love this! This is me. I use "glo" and "period tracker" for tracking And I've downloaded premom to use if need be next month with the sticks! I also take the wellwoman conception his & hers vitamins too, do you take anything? X

@RMS0209 haha. Yes I’m taking wellwoman too. First cycle I was taking Impryl but it’s expensive like nearly £50 for a month. My sister had a full box left so she gave me them. I didn’t repurchase them this cycle because of the cost. I thought it’s only cycle 2 so I don’t think it’s needed yet but I would consider buying them if it ends up taking a while longer. I got the seven seas trying for a baby instead but then I read that they had messed up peoples cycles so I stopped taking them after a couple of days and got the wellwoman. I’m also taking EPO this cycle for ewcm but so far not sure if they have worked as I haven’t had any CM yet x

Haven't heard of Impryl googled it, looks good.. as you say could be a potential if needed in a few cycles, I got my wellwoman on offer was 3 for 2 so got a good amount to last us a few cycles.
I bought some EPO too I started taking it too late and stopped after ovulation too.
Least we are doing all the right things! X

So interested to hear if the EPO works @Newbiemg. I used to get lots of EWCM but, weirdly since the pandemic started, I haven’t noticed any! Mainly same as you. Creamy or watery

I used to get loads of ewcm. At the time I didn’t really know that it was fertile cm because I wasn’t ttc or even thinking about it but I used to get a lot of it. Now I get none and I don’t know if it’s my age or… I’m 30 but I’ve seen others who are older than me get lots of it so maybe not but something must have changed in me.

@Pickles91 I will let you know if I get any this cycle! So far none. I feel like I have less cm of any kind this cycle compared to last but will see….

I don't know if I maybe took it too late in my cycle but I did notice last Sat/Sunday I had a good bit more than normal, was a bit confused to begin. Obviously as soon as I got a positive on my OPK I stopped taking it.
I'm 28 (nearly 29 eeek). I have read about that pre seed too? Need to stay off bloody google! But I am going to take the EPO next cycle too, I did read that it messed up some peoples cycles.

This month I've had barely any CM to be honest, knew I was ovulating from the pain though!

I’ve had abit more CM today not ewcm but watery so maybe going in the right direction lol. I don’t think I’m going to ovulate tomorrow though as Flo says. Got another flashing smiley this morning not a static and haven’t done my line opks yet. Doing a hold now for this afternoon.

I'm hanging in there. 6ish dpo and feeling the eternal 2ww. I've been having some bloating and sore boobs on and off but nothing today, feel totally normal. Such a mindfuck!

Hi @Newbiemg hopefully won't be too long before ovulation! Just keep going with the line ones.
I got a bfp on my Clearblue this morning which I'm happy about. Going to stop testing now and phone GP surgery in the morning! Feeling like a bit of an imposter on this thread now though! But you're all so supportive I don't want to cut ties 😂😭 OH seems to have come round to it all now and is happily chatting about it all to me which is good. Think he was just a bit shocked lol

@RMS0209 Happy Sunday to you too! Yes hopefully won’t be long. Line OPK negative again just now but I thinkkkk it’s only CD12 for me today if I don’t count my pre AF spotting. Last cycle I got my peak CD13.

@Newbiemg my last period I had spotting for 2 days beforehand and initially recorded this as my day 1 but I read that you should have day 1 as full flow so I changed it to 2 days later. Then I got my first positive OPK exactly 14 days after that

@CrazyCatLady95 I did the same I logged it from spotting but then I changed it to first day of full flow.

My period was different this month to how it usually is. I had 2 days of spotting and light bleeding which was really watery and light pink and didn’t need to use anything and was mixed with some creamy CM. I’d never had that before so I tried to convince myself it was implantation bleeding at first lol but then the following 2 days I had heavy bleeding bright red with some clots and then some more days of spotting after that so I logged it starting from the first day of the heavy bleeding. I’m thinking possibly because I’ve started supplements etc it just slightly changed my AF.
