Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

I am currently waiting for my peak to arrive. I’m using the CB tests too but I’ve had some weird results with the kit but I think I just had a faulty machine so now I’m using the CB tests and the cheapie strips. I’ve had 2 days of flashing smileys so far and strips still negative. My app is saying I’m due to ovulate on Monday so might get my peak at the weekend!

I also got a positive "peak" smiley on CB on Sunday, what day would you say would be best to test?
I got some cheapie tests also online from EBAY, the "one step" ones, is that what you use? its nice to have some others who are going through the same that is for sure! x

are you using the purple or pink clear blues?
last month I got 2 flashys before my static (was just testing to see no TTC last month) and this month I jumped straight from negative to static.. hope I caught it early enough thats for sure x

@RMS0209 I think the dates we have listed are roughly 2 weeks from ovulation day so maybe 22nd/23rd for you? Lets see if we wait though or if we all give in and test early because that will probably be me 😂

I’m using the Clear blue with the smileys and the Femometer strips but some ladies in this thread are using the one step strips and I’ve heard good reviews for those

@RMS0209 not sure yet. I have two tests that came as freebies in my home insemination kit but I've read reviews of them and apparently they are renowned for false positives! So I might not use them...my plan has always been to wait for AF and if it's late then go and buy a test, but who knows if I'll last that long. I havent bought any tests yet though. How about you?

I’m using the purple one with the flashing faces. Last cycle I got 8 days of flashing! Then the static. I’m on day 2 of flashing today and my app is saying I’m ovulating on Monday. Good luck to you too!

@newbiemg - we are using the same clear blue! go us... hopefully its lucky :)
my friend got lucky on her first month with the older style pink one... so i have faith for us everything crossed, keep me updated! now to keep me busy to 22nd/23rd..... I can do this... (I think!)

Anyone else get a dull constant ache lower abdomen? AF not due until Monday-ish but this has been going on for a few days now! Not sure if I'm reading into things a bit too much! I kept waking up the other night (the same night as one of the vivid dreams) feeling very sick also! 👀 I'm very tempted to do a test tomorrow just as I'm on a day off haha

How many days DPO are you? If a good few go for it.. i'd jus be worried about it being negative and being sad :( x

@SMD16 I read online that you get a wet watery CM for a few days and then when the stretchy EWCM comes it’s usually 2-3 days before ovulation although I know everyone is so different I think you still have time!
