Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

If anyone hasn’t already I probably wouldn’t recommend using the clear blue digital ovulation kits with the cheapies. Maybe it’s just me but it’s they’re expensive for so much confusion lol

After I had that weird static with my old reader I opened a brand new kit so a brand new reader. I’ve been using that along with the cheapies. I’ve had a few days of blank circle which was expected as cheapies negative too. This morning I got my first flashing smiley which I think the flashing picks up oestrogen not LH but it means you’re coming closer to LH surge. Cheapies still very negative though so I’m interested to see when I get my static this time if it matches up with a positive cheapie.

I did this this month. Got my static smiley and same day my peak cheapie. When I look at all cheapies from this cycle my peak is the same day I got my static so I think it's helped me feel positive that I ovulated when I did. Also all apps based on this and my BBT say I ovulated in Saturday so it's deffo worth it to confirm

That still looks fairly negative to me but also doesn't mean tomorrow won't be positive. I had a really pale negative and then the next day my peak! Depends when you test and urine concentration in my opinion. I've been doing two cheapies a day early to late morning then one late afternoon x

@kitkat89 CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Omg that's such a strong positive!!!!!!

@Newbiemg I would say just keep testing, it's hard to say! It took me a while to learn that I do produce LH throughout the month (albeit lower amounts) and that any test where the second line isn't visibly stronger than the control is technically a negative. You might suddenly peak but also you might just keep on getting "strong" negatives until your ov day

@lakejupiter I have heard people take it to help with implantation but I don’t know much about it.

@SMD16 I do sometimes around the time I’m ovulating like dull ache and sometimes shooting pains.

@SMD16 I have yet to experience ovulation pain! Not once have I felt it haha

We'll day 2 of spotting for me. Wore a pad overnight and had the tiniest streak of browny-red on it, and more brown when I wiped. This is very unusual for me. My AF usually starts full force dark red.

Anyone else dream of having a BFP? The last two nights I've had such vivid dreams of getting a positive test and being pregnant. And then you wake up and it's back to reality 😂

@Newbiemg I haven't been able to do the tests effectively as I can't stop needing a wee and fear having an accident 😂 trying to hold now
