Entering into 8th cycle…ttc number 2.

Feeling defeated and deflated even though I know odds are still on our side really..
I already have a DD who is 3 years 9 months so very much feel time is of the essence. Just desperate for it to happen now.

Feel like either people seem to fall super fast or seem like 12 months plus and don’t find many “in the middle” types.

Ive fallen pregnant 1st cycle before. And then DD took 7 cycles. So hence why this failed 7th cycle seems like a miserable milestone!

Anyone welcome to keep me company. Sucks 😫

I am cycle 5 so a little behind but already feeling my AF slump coming on ugh! Not due until Saturday according to app but just feel deflated already. And don't feel remotely pregnant. I do feel much better having asked DH to hide the tests though, will just wait and see if AF pays her visit!

I hadn't heard that about honey - might give it a try. Willing to try anything 😂

Oh the AF slump is there a bit for me too. But I’m holding out hope that statistically we are likely to have conceived within 12/13 months. I know it doesn’t happen for everyone…But have to take comfort in the stats as that’s all we can go off.
So we got another 3/4 cycles to go. And any month can be the month right?! I remember that from DD…the waiting and hoping. And it did happen.

Albeit I’ve waited the same time/if not longer to fall pregnant this time. Bah humbug.

True, it is comforting to remind myself of the stats. I'm sorry if this is TMI however I have just had some pink/brown tinged CM. At 9/10DPO. I don't usually spot before my period so just praying it's not visiting me this early 😓

Looks like I'm out this cycle. Spotting increased today and another BFN so I think AF will be here tomorrow. Going to take some time off MN now, feeling so so deflated about the potentially long road ahead but wishing all you ladies baby dust and BFPs soon!

I’m sure it will happen for all of us. Just not in the timeframe we wish…. And that can be really hard to process. Almost harder over the holidays. With families getting together etc.

@Indianna2006 oh that totally sucks. So sorry 😣. I feel like this TWW has been so so long. No clue how many DPO I am but if I have a 32 dah cycle I’m due AF on 25th which still feels soooo far away. Feel no different at all so no doubt I’ll be in your position this time next week. Hugs xx

Massive sigh. I sobbed for about 2 hours. DH consoled me. And convinced me to keep going. Even though if feels pointless sometimes…

Ugh come on. We can do this. I shall try be more positivity in a few more days. Shall await AF..onto cycle fucking 9 🙄😫

@Indianna2006 I know the exact feeling. My DP came home last night and said one of his friends wife is pregnant again - they have a massively up and down relationship and he said they literally had sex twice. Even DP was totally dumbfounded at how on earth this can happen when we have been having soo much sex for the last 8 MONTHS 🤯. It is so so tough. Just feels so close to the year mark now. 😭

You can do it, so so many people get their BFP before a year so for both of us, it could literally be next month. One can only hope!

Man. What a tough ride this is girls.

But it is all worth the wait. I know that so well.

@Indianna2006 so sorry 😓 it's so so tough and mentally draining. I am constantly wondering what's wrong with my body / what's going on in there. Once I have a good cry I start to feel a bit better and think about the next cycle. AF has kicked me when I am down this time which hasn't helped, incredibly heavy and painful and I just need it to end!!

It WILL happen in 2022 for all of us (if not earlier for some!).

I've booked some reflexology later in the month before I'm next due to ovulate. Probably won't do much but apparently it's relaxing so can't do any harm I guess.
