Entering into 8th cycle…ttc number 2.

Feeling defeated and deflated even though I know odds are still on our side really..
I already have a DD who is 3 years 9 months so very much feel time is of the essence. Just desperate for it to happen now.

Feel like either people seem to fall super fast or seem like 12 months plus and don’t find many “in the middle” types.

Ive fallen pregnant 1st cycle before. And then DD took 7 cycles. So hence why this failed 7th cycle seems like a miserable milestone!

Hi all! Really hoping someone gets a BFP this month to boost morale. I have been getting EWCM for 3 days now, since CD10 and I usually ovulate around CD17. I wasn’t planning on using OPKs as we will just DTD every other day. Is it really possible to have a week of EWCM?! Sounds quite long to me. X

@FlyOnTheWall89 seems long but EWCM confuses me and it seems our bodies have a mind of their own! I don't get much at all so am not in the best place to know. It sounds like you're well covered if you're DTD every other day though 🤞🏼

@FlyOnTheWall89 I think extended EWCM is good. I tend to get like 5 days worth but way more and better consistency like the day before and day I ovulate. As guess that’s when you’re best chance is.

@OK92 are you now in 2ww?

I am just I think. 2dpo today. Eugh. Trying to be positive as any month can be the month but longer it goes out more freaked out I become.

2WW is such a slog. I feel you!

I don't really know what's going on with me, not convinced I've ovulated yet and am now on CD20. I did get a very quick OPK peak a few days ago but no ovulation pain at all (usually I'm in agony each month) and no proper EWCM and totally dry now with negative OPKs. I'm now waiting to see if temps rise and confirm ovulation but so far nothing. Very frustrating!!!

@OK92 oh no!! That is not ideal. Do you always temp? Usually it rises the day after you’ve ovulated.

Maybe it’s going to be later this cycle. Are you still using opks? What CD do you usually ovulate?

@Indianna2006 I usually ovulate CD17-CD18. I do temp yes but it's risen only slightly so I assume I've not ovulated yet. Hopefully I will soon! Really hope it's not a cycle with no ovulation.

@Indianna2006 how is the tww going? My temps have confirmed ovulation though I'm still not convinced! If it is right though apparently I am 3DPO. Not feeling very hopeful due to the lack of EWCM but who knows. Too early to symptom spot anyway!

@ok92 it can be so hard when your not sure. But if it’s risen it’s like you have at some point and hopefully you did enough BD to catch it!!

Think I’m 4dpo today. Slow!! Just fed up of waiting each month to find out. As my positivity dwindles…

But I tried a few different things this cycle. And I’m eating 4 Brazil nuts a day as that supposed to be good for implantation. So that makes me feel like I have some control when I really have none at all!! Lol

I bought some Brazil nuts too! Chocolate covered which probably takes away the health of them 😂

I also read about pomegranate juice for implantation so may pick some up if I can find any in the shops. Do you usually test before AF or just wait and see if AF arrives?

@OK92 haha may as well have the chocolate to spice things up a little!
Usually I test like the day before my period is due. So it’s not too early and I’m not left guessing. I like a yes or no. If that makes sense.
And feel like if I wait for AF I spend the whole time trying to guess and cba with that.

9dpo today! Where abouts are you? Period is due Sunday. So I’ll turn Saturday 13dpo if I can hold out.

@Indianna2006 I've been early testing. Negatives on tests so far (just internet cheapies). Keep promising myself to not and then end up doing it WHY?! I am either 8 or 9 DPO so I know still early but I tested positive at 7DPO with DD so can't help but compare. How do you feel?

I feel like each month I feel different symptoms that materialise into AF arriving. I've had on/off cramps (that's quite normal for me though in luteal phase) but I did feel a stitch sensation on and off near ovary most of yesterday and had a bad cold around 4-6DPO. Probably from DD though!

Hope everyone else's TWW isn't going too slowly!

@OK92 ahh it’s so hard. I refuse to test early as it just makes me worse. And I get right down in dumps until AF. At least when AF shows I’m like right it’s another chance. I can’t stand the invetween but. So I only give myself one day to mope. Feel like negativity can be contagious!! Lol.

What sensitivity are the internet cheapies? Are they 10mui? Can only imagine those sort of ones could show anything by now.

Wow you tested positive on 7dpo with dd that’s madness. So early lol.

I’ve had positive 11dpo first pregnancy. But tested as just knew I was pregnant! And 12dpo second pregnancy. But was shocked as felt I was not pregnant at all!! But I didn’t test before then to know how early it would if shown But I got fairly clear BFPs. So like didn’t have to squint or guess if makes sense. Was obvious.

Since I’ve been taken my vitamin D my pms symptoms have been much better last two months. So I don’t get much symptoms or I don’t symptoms spot anyway. As I don’t think it means anything.

I felt nothing with my DD. Would never of known so I hold onto that hope lol. Feel just normal 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 haha

Praying though. I keep seeing lots of robins everywhere on things. Cards, on the tv etc and has been a robin in my garden lots this past week. Feel like it’s my dad coming to say it’s your time soon. As I always think of him when I see one as he died 2 years ago. And robins are a sign of how and rebirth. So who knows. Maybe it’s a sign 🥴

I often feel quite ambivalent about conception though so not feeling too stressed about it. Would like to know if there are any issues so thinking about booking an MOT. Am 38 and ttc #1.

Yes 10miu so quite sensitive. I've given the tests to DH to hide and plan to just wait for AF which is due either Sat or Sun. I need to take a leaf out of your book and be more chilled in the TWW! Can't help but wish I started trying for #2 sooner but just wasn't ready at the time.

On. It’s been cycles. Bit so what does it matter. We want a second child and I need to try let the age gap thing go. For whatever stupid reason this is the plan for us.

Hi @Indianna2006!! I’m in the TWW yes… I didn’t OPK again this month. I have sort of given up with them because we have regular sex anyway. If I ovulated on my usual day I am 4DPO…. However I had loads of EWCM on CD13 / 14 so maybe I was a bit earlier this month. I am expecting AF on Christmas Day (how festive). Last month I did what you do and tested around 13DPO and it actually helped to just know one way or another. Then I could manage my emotions. I feel nothing so far. We DTD probably less this month just down to sheer crazy busy schedules - CD11,12,14, 17… might not have been enough.

I’m so hopeful that someone gets a BFP and makes us all feel more positive. It feels like it will never ever happen now for me. In the NY i’m going to nudge my DP to get a SA. All my bloods were fine and I had a scan earlier in the year where they saw I had ovulated and said it was a ‘nice big one’. Fingers crossed for all of you xxx

@FlyOnTheWall89 I think those days DTD sound perfect. Seems all bases are covered. Oh no period of Christmas Day…🙈🙈 well could be the best Christmas ever! 🤞🏼
Agree I feel if I test at 13dpo. I get it over with and it managed my expectation and leaves the disappointment in one day. Or I try to. Don’t wanna be grumpy over Christmas ideally!

One of us surely has to get a BFP. Wouldn't they be great! Still happens in this time frame so could be anyone of us!

@Kiaa ooh what is the honey supposed to do? I haven’t heard of this? Keep going hun. That single pink line has to turn to a double pink line at some point!!
Not many symptoms for me. Just feel same as I always do. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So prob not a great sign lol. Only time will tell x

Honey is apparently a old wive tail from Egypt where it improves fertility mainly for men's sperm count but can also improve eggs quality so thought it was worth a try lol

@Kiaa I will be testing Saturday morning 13dpo. Or not at all and maybe wait for period. Dunno if I wanna see that blank test anymore tbh. So still a bit undecided. Feel wobbly already expecting it to come…

Come on ladies. We’ve done 2/3rds basically of what can be normal for fertile couples. We can do this. We will get out BFPs!!

@Indianna2006 @Kiaa this is 8 for us too - it could be 9 as I was so chilled on the beginning and wasn’t recording anything at all that I kind of forgot! Would be AMAZING to get some positives on this thread soon. Always feels these middle months between 6 and 1 year are not great for positives. Let’s CHANGE that 🤞🏻💪🏻 X
