Entering into 8th cycle…ttc number 2.

Feeling defeated and deflated even though I know odds are still on our side really..
I already have a DD who is 3 years 9 months so very much feel time is of the essence. Just desperate for it to happen now.

Feel like either people seem to fall super fast or seem like 12 months plus and don’t find many “in the middle” types.

Ive fallen pregnant 1st cycle before. And then DD took 7 cycles. So hence why this failed 7th cycle seems like a miserable milestone!

Anyone welcome to keep me company. Sucks 😫

@OK92 how have you waited 😂, I'm so eager to buy stuff but I'm waiting out for the 20 week scan. Genuinely feel so unpregnant and it's horrible. Lots of people have said around 20 weeks with no.1 so i'm just hopeful that I'm one of those people x

@FlyOnTheWall89 I know I need to sort it out! In fairness we have lots of the big bits from my first and then we aren't finding out the sex so it's made it a bit harder to buy much. I have a handful of neutral newborn clothes from my first.

Are you showing or not yet? Your next scan is soon though which is good! I've not got anything now until 36 weeks which feels like ages away and I think baby is breech 🙈

@OK92 arh okay. I guess that does make it a bit harder.

Ye I am showing - I was showing pretty early and felt super bloated until about 12 weeks and then it all changed a bit and I feel less swollen and more like I have a proper bump. My last scan was 12+6 and my next is 20 weeks - 2 to go but feels like a lifetime.

At 36 weeks you'll nearly be there! So exciting. If you are breach do they try to turn the baby or anything? Xx

@OK92 I think you are more relaxed about the second. As well as the fact you have a lot of it just in storage. You need nowhere near as much. God the amount you have to buy first time is just crazy 😂😂
naughty little breach baby. Sometimes they do just turn late.

@FlyOnTheWall89 aww the kicks will soon come. I was quite early with mine at 17 weeks but I am very slim and petite so think that could of been part of it. I have had friends not feel anything until 22 weeks ish. Which is all normal. Can depend where your placenta is sat too. You soon know once they get moving. An then they have a party in there when you try go to bed 😂😂

yes I guess I am about 9 weeks behind you. Just hoping it’s still all okay at the dating scan. I’m way more sick this time. So trying to wish this bit away until I feel better as it’s a slog isn’t it. Waiting and feeling crap. Whilst hoping it isn’t for nothing again.

We going good bub sleeps well in the day but up at night so still a zombie most days but is lovely seeing her sister be so sweet and caring of her 🥰

Baby is no longer breech so hopefully they don't turn again! Feel huge and so uncomfortable now 😮‍💨

Not quite had my dating scan yet. It’s on Monday. I am 12 weeks today. And deff got a sizeable bump already so 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I had my dating scan last Monday. All was well 🥰🥰 I moved ahead in dates like I always do.
I will be 15 weeks on Saturday and I officially have a baby bump so was beginning to get impossible to hide from people!

@Indianna2006 fantastic news - must feel more real now you've moved passed that 12 week mark and you have a bump! I'm 24 weeks and she's moving around much more - it's magic 🥰 x

Time is flying now, I'll be 36 weeks this weekend. Finally starting to buy stuff and get organised. Doesn't feel real there will be a little one joining the family so soon!

No baby yet! I'm 38+2 so still a couple weeks left to go. So uncomfortable now but also not quite ready for baby to make an appearance. Just hope I'm not 9 days late like I was with my DD. Getting super anxious about birth now too 😩

Our little girl was born on Tuesday 🥰 seems like we've got a lot of girls on this thread! So so happy and she was so worth the wait. Hope you guys are all doing well!

When I saw this thread pop up I started to read from the beginning and then got a bit too invested 😳 and have now pretty much read the whole thing and followed your journeys 😂

Just wanted to say it’s really helped me reading all this…I’m just about to move onto cycle number 9 after an MMC earlier this year and feeling like it will never happen for me and completely deflated but this thread has given me a little more hope today 🥰

I’m almost 27 weeks so almost 3rd trimester and starting to feel the strain. The back pain and energy whilst running round after a 4 year old is 😵‍💫

I hope to get my Elective c section date in about 4 or 5 weeks 🥰

@Indianna2006 hi! Great to hear you're 27 weeks in now and all on track.

Yes I'm just under 36 weeks and thankfully feeling really well but I was very strong and fit before so maybe this has helped combined with a bit of luck. I've got carpal tunnel in both wrists which is painful at night but otherwise isn't too bad. Just over half way through my bump classes now too so feeling much more informed etc. Hoping she comes roughly on time and isn't too late as desperate to meet her now. X

most babies come between the 39-41 week mark. So anywhere in between that you have pretty good odds.
I went into labour with my DD at 40+4 and she was born 3 days later as 41 weeks exactly.
although quite glad I might get this one out at 39 and not be waiting those 2 extra weeks 😅

I keep saying to my friends think I’ve forgotten about a newborn and baby as it’s been so long. But I do remember it all just comes naturally an somehow you just know your own baby 🙂 xx

@Kiaa glad bubs is doing well. Ahah yes Altho I still hope for some lazy days as my one goes to school so just solo parenting again in the day with a baby which will be quite nice.

@Kiaa well a little update from me…not long after posting on this thread I finally got my BFP on my 9th cycle and I am 8 weeks today 🥰 feeling very anxious after my MMC last year but trying to remain positive and I have a private scan booked for tomorrow!
