Entering into 8th cycle…ttc number 2.

Feeling defeated and deflated even though I know odds are still on our side really..
I already have a DD who is 3 years 9 months so very much feel time is of the essence. Just desperate for it to happen now.

Feel like either people seem to fall super fast or seem like 12 months plus and don’t find many “in the middle” types.

Ive fallen pregnant 1st cycle before. And then DD took 7 cycles. So hence why this failed 7th cycle seems like a miserable milestone!

@OK92 I’m doing okay thanks, just trying to poodle along.
I stopped bleeding and got a negative pregnancy test. And pretty much ovulated very soon after. I felt ovulation pain but wasn’t sure I could trust the positive opks because of pregnancy tests only just being faint. But after 3/4 days of raised temps confirmed I obv did ovulated then.
so think I’m about 10/11/12 dpo ish..

my temps went up a few days after I felt the pain so I’m not entirely sure. But we DTD the morning I felt the pain. So..I guess I am in a 2ww. Although I imagine it’s unlikely..so just awaiting that first period post mc so that will be out the way. And hopefully then normal cycles will resume.

how are you? How many weeks are you now? Hopefully you’ve had an early scan and all is well :)

@Indianna2006 sounds promising and it's good you've got an ovulation out the way. Are you using the fertilily again? Fingers crossed it happens very soon for you.

I am ok thank you - just over 13 weeks now!

@OK92 yes I’ll be using the fertilily. Kind of feel hopeful if I use it correctly each month I may be lucky and be pregnant within 6 months. Before November when my due date was. Here’s to hoping.

as first time I used it correctly I got pregnant! Fluke perhaps..but I had 10 goes before that which did not work so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t know. Trying not to put too much emphasis on it tbh. It is what it is. I’m not having a baby and just trying to accept that.

well just to update you all..

I had ovulated over 2 weeks ago confirmed on my chart as I’ve been temping. My period should of turned up and my temps on my chart were so high. And the chart looked exactly like when I was pregnant with my DD.

took a IC which had a faint line. And they had gone negative over 2 weeks ago. Took a frer. And had an obvious pregnant line which then got slightly darker.
then yesterday the test had gone much fainter. And today basically gone.

i think somehow I miraculously fell pregnant straight away but have had a chemical. Not really sure how to feel.

relieved that we fell again. Worried as to why that’s two losses in a row. Or just chalk it down to well I had surgery in my lining and maybe it needs more time to recover.

i have no idea. I did use fertilily again. And aspirin. So maybe that’s my go to?!

🤦🏻‍♀️ Honestly. Baffled over here.
my period still hasn’t turned up and is late. But I only got a negative again today. So maybe soon 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ooooo @Indianna2006 what a rollercoaster!!!!!!! Sorry you've had to go through seeing those lines and then them disappearing again. Are you going to see someone about recurrent MC yet, or give it a bit more time?

I've given up on using everything now. No longer use AVA or ferti-lily.

@FlyOnTheWall89 well I don’t have a clue. I’m not sure they count chemicals in the recurrent miscarriage? I’m unsure. And yes I’ve now had 3. One chemical. But obv between my first mc and these I had DD. So there isn’t an issue as such which means I can’t carry a pregnancy. So I guess I take that as a positive.

im trying to think this most recent mc was bad luck. And this chemical maybe just a sign my body wasn’t quite optimal for it all. I had just had surgery. Not had a proper period etc. i just don’t know…

My DH was like let’s take the positive from it then the negative. We got pregnant again. But I guess I worry was I more fertile cos of mc..and it will now be months.

but then after my first mc I was extra fertile. It took longer…ffs. Not straight forward is it.

I think we will just keep going. I’ll just repeat what has worked then two cycles we fell. Which seems to be ferti Lily and aspirin. One of those or the combination seems to make a difference for me.

Such a rollercoaster. I didn’t wanna put in other group obv as know it can be bit sensitive for ppl.when your all just trying to see 2 pinks lines and month after month and don’t. So didn’t wanna mention about it in there.
but my god. Yes it’s hard. Who knows when my next two pinks lines will come.

im hopeful..but worrying about loss is now really hard

@Indianna2006 like @FlyOnTheWall89 said - what a rollercoaster. Like you say encouraging you fell again so quickly but who knows why a chemical has happened. I think they're much more common than people realise but if you don't test then people assume it's AF arriving rather than a really early MC. Hopefully it's just to do with your body needing a full cycle post surgery to get back to normal and you'll still be in the 'fertile' post MC for a good few months.

A good friend of mine had two consecutive early MC then a completely healthy pregnancy with no real reason for the MC and without doing anything different the third time. Just one of those rubbish unfortunate things 😔

@OK92 yes you’re right I think they are much more common. An had I not of tested if my chart didn’t look like a pregnancy one. I could of not caught the line on the frer. And had I tested today a day late for period. It would be blank. So goes to show doesn’t it..

I'm gonna try not read into it. But yes feel like was that my fertile boost and it hasn’t worked out…

its so hard isn’t it. I can’t seem keep hold of these babies. 3rd time lucky whenever that may be I guess..🤞🏼

well the bleeding started so that’s that.
Onto a fresh cycle which is prob for the best and hopefully one that makes much more sense.

No, we have our appointment on Tuesday and it will get scheduled in then. I have a feeling it will be a September start because of various diary things. Funnily enough, having a real plan and just knowing we can start very soon has made me feel fine with waiting a bit. It would mean we have 2 more natural cycles to try ... Or maybe 1... not sure you can have sex in the month you start because obvs then you could be pregnant on CD21. Just have to hope it's relatively straightforward once we do get going!

So shocked and totally over the moon.

I tested because I was a day late but my cycles do vary by a day or 2 but I hadn't got to a CD31 since last summer... but expectations were very low.

In hindsight, I think I did have a few symptoms but it's hard to really be sure. Quite detailed dreams, I feel asleep at 7 for an hour and a half the other night - v unlike me to nap, had some funny pains in my legs, like growing pains... ummm think that was it until I got a positive and then I've noticed a pulled muscle feeling in my lower tummy and I guess you'd call it bloated... I normally wake up with a pretty flat tummy but it definitely a bit hard and bumpy.

That test is 15DPO I think. I didn't use OPKs or track or anything so that's presuming I would have ovulated on CD17 I think. Scrambled round in shock looking for another test and that digi said pregnant and I just thought FUCK. I was in a lot of shock.

and it’s worked. Just how amazing is that. You’d resigned yourself to think it would be ivf. And here is natural conception. Bet your partner must be thrilled as well!

Okay good, glad it is nice and strong. I dipped it and I could see the wee go up and a line and I thought no that must be the control line. I don't even do tests tbh. After month 3/4 of doing then I just found it such a mood killer. Then the lines just immediately blazed up and I was like WOOOOOWWWWW.

Totally. It's been 5/6 months of lifestyle improvements and consistent supplements by my OH. He hasn't had an SA since March and it's the second cycle after HSG. It was just meant to be.

exactly. All that effort pays off sometimes. And like you say if it’s meant to be it all. Good ole HSG. Maybe it helped have clear path for them to get there. Either way don’t matter once you get pregnant does it. It’s worked that’s all that matters 🙂🙂

I have no idea what to expect really. So I expect conception could be likely or not. Or am I miles off. I just really don’t know 😂 last month took me by surprise so much falling quickly makes no sense in my head.

I feel okay about everything as much as I can. I’ve resigned myself a little to stop thinking we are getting a baby and obsessing over wanting one. And it’s helped my head space a little. But at times it’s hard. I keep thinking about is be basically half way through a pregnant. And that does suck. But hey there is always another chance.

Ye it's a bit mental to think about it like that time wise. It's a time stealer this TTC stuff. You're being incredible rational about things and you sound in a good space. Keeping everything crossed for you. You're totally right, once you are pregnant, it doesn't matter. You got there somehow! Xxx

@OK92 I am so excited and then I forget and then I'm so excited again. I found out after he had gone to work so I had the day to think but we were also both out in the evening. I went to Petit Bateau and bought a little baby grow and put the tests inside the tissue paper then said I'd got him a little gift when I got home. He was so shocked - he was like is this yours... well whose else is it hahaha. He is just so happy, but also so so relieved. I really couldn't decide if I should buy the baby grow and I walked out of one shop but then I was like fuck it, you've got to enjoy it and just keep everything crossed. I'm really pleased I did. It was super special.

@FlyOnTheWall89 ahh bet that was special. Yes at end of day like you said got to try enjoy it. It’s exciting as soon as you see the tests and get exciting more as the weeks go on.

Altho I am slightly superstitious and don’t ever buy anything. But only because I lost my first pregnancy. An it kind of sets up the situation for all other pregnancies tbh when your first was a loss.

Sounds stupid right because i know it’s not rational. But feel like I got too excited about it and told too many ppl once I got to 8 weeks. And then boom. Smack in the face. What an idiot. Or that’s how I felt anyway…which is silly I know. Has nothing to do with it.

Does weird things to your head. I try be rational as best I can. It doesn’t always work tho and I still have a good cry sometimes but try pick myself back up after 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Wish some of it made sense as to why it took us so long to fall. An then bam twice in a row because of some little device that pushes the sperm near my cervix.🤷🏻‍♀️

my period is due on holiday…I think I will pack tests. But don’t wanna see another positive test to then fade out. But also don’t wanna be drinking alcohol if I’m pregnant because I’ll only worry about that an worry about the baby 🙄 endless lol.

so who knows. But I’m super busy until then sorting packing etc so hopefully it passes fast 🤞🏼😳
