Totally 🙌🏼 it is a valuable tool to me as I have longer cycles, otherwise I'd just be going off silly apps that think you have all have the same cycle lengths lol🙄

Hi all, taking my seat on the bus and fruitlessly kicking the tiresin rage and actually ending up hurting myself. Standard.

Checking in today and only do so sproadically because thinking about my own infertility everyday is too overwhelming especially with cycles as long as mine.

On cd 90 so f**k everyone and I mean EVERYONE. Except you lot. You can stay.

Recap from me: have 1 dc and have been trying for about a year now, but don't get many bites of the cherry with cycles this long. Scan and tests are all normal, now trying to go private hoping clomid or something might speed things up a bit.

@Somatronic sorry about this cycle. Have a wallow. Take some time off, focus on other things in your life and see how you feel in a couple of weeks time.

For all this chat about unexplained infertility, I'm channeling my friend who had this and tried for 18 months. Booked to go to her private appointment and then found out she was pregnant.

@pennysays feck - is there a plan to get the cycles down to normal length? Is it pcos?

@Somatronic I'm sorry AF showed up and that you're getting no support from the local healthcare :( if you go down the IVF route then don't forget it's MUCH cheaper in eg Prague. Lots of Brits go there or Denmark to get it done.

@paintfairy nooo damn your OH for giving you that cold! My teeth hurt for two weeks from it and it developed into sinusitis I think. I'm sure your eggs will carry on as normal as the drugs won't let them do otherwise!

@Juno231 I thought it was just me being weird with the hurting teeth! Today has been a struggle, I feel awful. I can't tell if the back ache and twinges I'm getting are related to this or the drugs. What horrendous timing. 🤬

I've just had my arse handed to me on AIBU, not sure I explained it all well enough and have made DH sound awful. Whoops! Some useful advice in amongst the judgement though. But I don't want you all thinking I am mistreating DS...he's fine, im traumatised!

As for thinking I'll be pregnant for certain events - I was saying to one of my friends back in June that if I get my bfp on so and so date I could tell OH on father's day and she said "aw babe that's what you said last year" 😂

@paintfairy yeah it's the sinus pressure affect teeth and jaws, never had it as bad as with this cold!

@Minster2012 I definitely did very little all day. Never felt so ill in my life. Every joint ached and I couldn't get warm! Barely slept all night but I do feel better today. Well, I'm hot now instead of cold and I don't ache. 🤣 Still bunged up.

Scan went OK! It was the longest time of my life. Trying not to cough or sneeze. Partly pleased the mask hides how horrific you look but partly struggling with the fact breathing hot air was making it worse! She said everything looks as it should. I also had to have a blood test. But they call you later with the proper update once the dr has reviewed it over lunch. They'll then tell you if to change medication dose and when they want to see you next. Hoping I feel better by the next appointment!

I've already Ovulated later this month as I've had two positive OPK is already. We are trying for a second baby for over a year and a half now. I did another ovulation test about a week ago, this was negative with no lines at all! at all. I have just done one now and there is a loaner what do you guys think? OPK's and everything else, are all very new to me hence why I don't know! The abbreviations for any of them LOL! Please let me know what you think just looking for some helpful advice I've been very down the last few weeks thanks very much.
Also had a lot of symptoms but it could just be me searching for them?!

Ooh @Juno231. Hopefully something positive...? My Ava bracelet has been dispatched and I hope it arrives soon, had very very sharp pains on Friday that felt like ov pains but painful and seemingly EWish CM today so would be good to be tracking to see if that can help me work out what is what

@paintfairy let's hope you are over the worst of it then. OMG you remind me of when I had dildo cams I was always paranoid in case I coughed & the person got covered in vag juice or went into spasm & got their hand stuck 🤣totally irrational! It's good that first scan is good and all looking as it should though 🤞🏻

@Katywatty17 it could be that your body tried to ovulate them first surge but didn't so it tried again hence the second positive? Unfortunately unless you temp your can never be sure of ovulation actually happening after a positive, like @Juno231s thoughts atm.

I'm really down today, worried. DH thinks the headaches were from the aga as he got some too & I literally feel nothing. So scared of it being a MMC ☹️

Yeah you'll always get the extreme people jumping on! And obviously you write it with the info you feel relevant and then people make assumptions on the rest. Kids eh? 🤣 My non expert thought on it is- if he usually has a banana then it was a completely reasonable thing to do anyway. No you don't want him going to bed hungry either. I get where you are worrying about the fussy though- some of these people with their advice are probably those precise people who have kids that only eat chicken nuggets and white bread and nothing more. So it's finding a middle ground. The way DH handled it probably wasn't ideal but sometimes you deal with it as it happens and on reflection realise that this isn't a good long term plan. So a chat and a proper way of dealing with it moving forward is probably a good idea. DS will have already forgotten. He's not going to be traumatised from one event, as long as you get it right next time. Maybe he doesn't like creamy stuff? My DH oddly will eat pretty much anything (way more than me) yet hates creamy anything, particularly chicken. Yet I like it. So he might not even be that fussy at all you might find. 🤷‍♀️

@paintfairy thanks - appreciate the vote of support. Once I wrote a thread on a similar vein and the answer was he was to eat whatever he was given end of..! I plan to manage the meals we're giving to DS which will basically stop the situation again I think without DH realising he's being managed.

Oh sweetheart @Minster2012. It's so hard, can you book a private scan for the next week or so? NHS 12 weeks can't be far off?

@larrythelizard whatever you write on there, there'll be a load of people jumping on saying the opposite. People are opinionated. Its just working out the best solution for you. I read them for amusement if I'm really bored. Some people are actually bonkers! Your post doesn't actually sound really that weird either.
@Minster2012 omg. I would have been mortified had I coughed with it in there! I did complain to her about the useless blunt menopur needles though, to which she just said oh I'm sorry about that. How about you give people ones that pissing work?!

I think given the circumstances you will automatically be thinking things will be wrong if you don't feel much. That's not necessarily the case though but I know it's hard unless you get a scan or something to reassure yourself. As for the aga- maybe it is! Our horrid smelling rug (I've now desposed of it) was giving them to me. Is it sorted now?

@paintfairy yes the aga sorted now & this morning I've closed the windows as the oil smell is just about gone, it might take a while for the smell to go fully when cooking but it's much better (did you get rid of the rug?) so she didn't give you more needles then??

@larrythelizard each time I have a private scan round here it's £80 plus 35 mins each way, I'm reluctant to keep spending money we need to be saving (and the aga strip cost a fortune) 😩my 12week one is 11th Nov so still over 2 weeks away ☹️
