@kaylsd DH & I were talking about it last night after seeing clips & it's awful, he def incited it all and made it worse & they knew it should've been stopped early. So terrible 😢 but I think it's more the type of gig you go to, it's been known many times before with him so I think it's those kind that I'd stay away from. We are going to a gig in March, when I'll be well into the pregnancy (hopefully)

The gp was man of few words, I only said worried about the periods being so irregular, and being 44 it’s a worry, and that being trying for two years with no luck, so he didn’t venture any theories, just booked the blood works and then will see what the hormones say, I am hoping I am not going to get the all is ok, on your bike answer

@Minster2012 we went to see Alice Cooper at 5 months pregnant, and dh made take seat tickets, he didn’t want me in the pit, definitely the type of gig you go to, you have to be sensible, great on reaching 12 weeks! are we taking the head out of the sand yet? hope you’re not ill

@Franklydear sounds pretty dismissive but least the bloods are booked and that's one thing 😊. Def not taking head out of the sand until I know it's ok, til then still firmly in the sand 🤦🏼‍♀️I just hope I'm not ill too

@Franklydear I think it makes sense to have one battle at a time. Get the bloods. And if they are ok, then push as to what they are going to do next. You might be too old for ivf on nhs but actually they can't refuse basic investigations.

I'm struggling with stomach cramps. I'm not sure if it's still the trigger/EC or if it's the progesterone? I had it yesterday but I woke at 2am with it. I think it's partly trapped wind but there's definitely cramps too and everything feels like it's working too hard. You know, gurgling etc? I tried to get DH to fetch me paracetamol and he replied he was asleep. 🙄 So off i trundled to get some. It helped moving though to be honest. But god its shit. I feel permanently starving too so I know everything is going through too fast. I suppose I should be thankful I'm not in the toilet at least. But 😫

@paintfairy over 40 and we have a child already, they've never considered, but will see where this takes us, get well soon

@Franklydear my friend isn't entitled either. But they still managed to get SA, HSG, sperm dna frag done on the nhs!

Phew managed to dtd and just now did an opk and it's positive so just about in with a chance! Not sure if it's peak as it was just one random one but I'll do another this evening. I don't know why I'm stressed mind you as all the months of well timed dtd were fruitless 😅 gotta keep trying!

@clolo appointment tomorrow! Boom that's great! No I won't be able to go if I have any Covid symptoms but I don't have a cough just sore throat morning & night (it's gone away now) and bunged up. However at 9.30 this morning I threw up, it came over me quickly then passed just as quick 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Juno231 it kinda is like something they'd say though although they'd be horrible about the TTC/ivf & MCs they would never suggest any of my health issues were cos I wasn't nice enough 😂they wouldn't wish those on their worst enemy! @paintfairy progesterone is a wonderful thing that has such lovely effects on your body. Not!! It's highly likely that & night wakings are often a symptom too of progesterone meds. It's not a pretty ride I'm afraid but yeah def better than being bunged up (says the lady with life long shits so not much can shock me even at breakfast) 😂

@Vil10 One of my friends years ago had a quickie on her way out the door for a docs appointment. After her appointment the doc said to her I see you've missed your last smear let's get it done now while you're here. She said she was absolutely mortified as she hadn't even showered she'd literally ran out the door after her quickie. So I'm sure if her doc could do her smear wading thru the post sex gunk to get a good view your night before with clean up should be fine 🤣🤣🤣 Im sure I read somewhere that they can actually do a smear while you're on your period too but obviously they prefer not to because as well as taking swabs they like to have a look at your cervix check it visually looks fine.

Random question, does anyone with children/nieces/nephews have a Tonie box? Debating whether to get DS one for Christmas or not, they're a lot of money but I like the idea of it but don't know anyone IRL with one to give a genuine review if they're worth it?
