The weather has definitely turned chilly, so it’s time to hunker down on that Willy 🍆

Its Halloween time full of ghosts and ghouls 👻🎃but will our f*ck boy bodies make us into the fools?

Come on universe we’ve done our time, we’ve had lots of tricks so give us our treats 🐣.

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out.

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

@Minster2012 cd 11 today, no creamy cm yet, so not really in tww, should I test again tomorrow or just leave it till next cycle? Nothing like a mil to make you feel shit, ignore, or answer back, chinese for a week

Be gentle with yourself @Kirky658 little ones are tiring, let alone if they've got reflux. Speak to yourself as you would to someone else who's been through your experiences, you've had a tough time x

Bit crampy here, and spotting still (it would seem it continues with a BFP even...) Cancelled my fertility scan that was booked for Weds. Hohum, felt a bit like I was tempting fate by cancelling it - my mind is a weird place at the moment. I'm very grateful to currently be pregnant but had forgotten how quickly the anxiety begins.

@Minster2012 how bloody rude. If my MIL commented on my weight i think I'd throw her out the window! Jeez.
@Kirky658 I'm sorry you are still struggling. Time away is always good as a change though, if nothing else. I'm glad she's at least sleeping better.

Thank you everyone, tonight I had cider...in a honey, apple (from our tree) & mustard pork chop stew thing with dumplings yum yum there was lentils though for protein 😂

@feliznavidad2 oh the worry doesn't end & starts quick. I'm sorry the spotting is still an issue, I would def get a scan as early as possible in your situation

@Franklydear I don't know really, how many errors were there & do you think it was cos you weren't leaving it long enough? How many blank circles? Chinese for a week yummmmm the irony is that she's just given us a £50 voucher for our fave restaurant to use for DH's birthday celebration so they'll def be dessert 😂

@whatwonder it's lovely to be able to tell your friend though, and a scan booked for not that long away (she says thinking next Thursday is ages away!) It's worse than my second jab where I literally felt nothing & actually prob implanted for my other BFP that weekend 😂

@larrythelizard I felt proper bad today but little better now, it seems to be in the evening & at night I have the issue! You didn't tell DH!? Love that!!

@clolo there's a difference between not watching what you eat & eating a shed load of chocolate biscuits 🍪 😂that's great on the loss though

@Kirky658 ahhhh a holiday with a child is rarely a holiday we find, but it's great she's sleeping better at night. She will have enjoyed the time away too. My nephew didn't nap basically at all during the day for ages but got consistently better at nights and then daytime. Hang in there lovely xxx

@feliznavidad2 it's such an anxiety ridden time. You can ostrich yourself way to an early scan (if that's helpful to you?) in great company on here. Just take it one day at a time x

@paintfairy we get on very well MIL & I but she is known for putting her big foot in it quite a lot not thinking before she speaks. I'm actually closer to her than my mum but I call her out on stuff 😂😂

@Minster2012 maybe that's ok ish. My mum tells me when I'm fat to be fair. 🤣
@larrythelizard 🤣 Will he not notice? There's one area I'd like it on but I'm scared in case it goes wrong. So I don't know if I would dare.

@Minster2012 3 errors, wrong technique, wasn’t putting the stick in first🤦🏼‍♀️ but got it now, 2 blank circles, yesterday and today, think I’ll leave them until next cycle and wait for creamy cm, or maybe one more try tomorrow, I think definitely needs to be fw

@Minster2012 I put the stick in, wake it up, took it off, dip it in wee, put it back in, and the poor thing got confused, wtf woman? Now I did it correctly, for cd 10 and cd11, and it’s giving me blank circles saying no fertility, but usually is cd 12 or 13 for ovulation and having ewcm so not possible, I hope I am not that broken, cd 7 and 8 I got a faint flashing smiley so I hope on those I just didn’t wait enough and the app said error, am I making any sense?

You aren't putting in the wake up stick each time are you @Franklydear? When you say a faint flashy I'm really confused! Is it like this on your app?

It sounds like you reset it on CD9 a d now 2 blanks smiles after that is learning for you. It could go straight to static from a blank so could continue with it or start again next cycle?

@Minster2012 not the wake-up stick, the test stick, but I did take it off to dip it and then put it back for results, trust me to make it more complicated, the app looks like that and the circles too, I'll give it until I get creamy cm then, it might make sense of it all after all

What did you take off @Franklydear I'm so confused 🤔 but of the app looks like that then it's working now, it's just when you said faint flashy smiles, do you mean the lines faint? Honestly wouldn't worry about the lines

@feliznavidad2 yeay for the CB, it always feels more real once you see it one there. 😊 I'd love to say the anxiety magically goes the further along you get but I'm still waiting for mine to disappear 10 weeks on 🙈 being part of the ostrich club helps, find some sand and take your space 😉

@somatronic what a pain with your thyroid timing just starting to act up as you're ttc again 😫 hopefully they can either take it out or get it back under control for you

@Kirky658 as @Minster2012 said, no holiday with a child will ever feel like a holiday any more. Well it does but just in a different way, more about making family memories and having a change of scenery definitely not the relaxing come back feeling refreshed type holiday you're used to pre child. We often come back from a holiday with DS and I feel more tired than when I left, but they're worth it for the memories. Don't beat yourself up about your moods, most new mums have snappy moods even without PND, the lack of consistent sleep and being needed 24/7 breaks the best of us. Just keep taking it one day at a time. You managed some time away with a newborn which many would struggle with due to the change of routine, that's really positive! You've got this.

I had my flu jag and covid booster and was in bed by 6pm last night, I dont remember being knocked so much with past ones. It does mean I'm now up at 2am. Work's going to be fun today 😴 Firmly back in that sandbox, next scan on Saturday and already practising trying to keep a calm composure if we hear the words 'I'm so sorry...' as we can't get anyone to watch DS so he's going to have to come with us (private scan so he's allowed) but obviously for his sake if it's bad news I need to be able to keep it together so as not to scare him 😣 On a nicer note tho my friend took a pic of this lovely double rainbow 😊 she doesn't know im pregnant yet so I had to sneakily pinch her pic to share as I knew you ladies would love the hope it brings 🌈

@DKDK123 I did have to open that pic to check we don’t have a mutual friend as I sent one of my friends a double rainbow photo yesterday too! Hers is much clearer than mine though

@whatwonder thankyou, I feel ok - fatigue and sickness has made a return strangely but otherwise good. We told my dad before the scan as I needed his help with something and told DD on Sunday. DH wants to tell everyone but I'm just not feeling it. We're on holiday this week so maybe when we're back 😊 how are you doing?

@Kirky658 echo everything @DKDK123 says about holidaying with a child. We're on day 2, 4.5 hour flight and she was brill but we've been up since 4:30am 😫 a change of scenery is the main thing even if things are not very holiday like 😊 it's harder too not in your own home, im sure you'll get back into the swing of things soon.
@DKDK123 lovely photo! That's a bugger about the scan at the weekend and can see your dilemma, you want to protect them from all the possibilities but @Franklydear is right you're owed big time 💕

Ah yes @bez91 it's holiday time whoop whoop god I wish I was on holiday this week, hope you have a fantastic time, how did DD take the news? She's similar age to X yeah?

I said to DH The thing with MIL saying things about the weight is cos she's tall & slim & doesn't put weight on, then my SIL (her daughter) is a size 8 & after both kids just lost weight dead easy, yet eats what she wants, then SIL (not her daughter) is also a size 8 & after first two kids also was back in her jeans in like 4 weeks & yet has 4 sugars in her tea. I'm not like that, I stop exercising (like now) & I put weight on especially on my hips so you can see it easy. So yeahhhh guess I'm in trouble!!

Just drop ds on the school bus after half term and now I am all tearful, he's done his tie himself without any help today
