Hya all

I am new to mums net. I am currently in my tww and losing hope again for this month. My af is due Friday the 24th. I have no symptoms really! Slight bruised feeling in sides of my boobs, and yesterday and sharp stabbing pains in my pelvic area. That's about it really. Just feel like af will show again and it's not happened again. This was my chart for this month as well and when we dtd

Just over 9 weeks @Cruz86 really don't know what to think at the moment x

I'm so sorry @rita83. I can't believe you've been left for 3 days! Take comfort in the fact that you haven't seen any tissue at all. Really hoping tomorrow's scan goes well. Let us know?

@Mama500 on a normal cycle, af would've started by now. But who knows what it's like post mc? Plus, we literally dtd once this cycle!

rita83 · 28/12/2021 12:54

Would I have passed any tissue though at all? I have never been through this so really don't know what to think. I haven't seen blood clots either just another heavy bleed agin but this time it's lasted longer

OP posts:
Cruz86 · 28/12/2021 13:00

Yes you absolutely would. If it's just blood, that means baby is still in there! Even at 6 weeks, I passed a few big grey clots/tissues so at 9 weeks I would imagine it to be more xx

rita83 · 28/12/2021 13:55

This just doesn't make sense does it at all 😞 @cruz unless it's in there but died that's the only thing I can think of and not only that they see a heartbeat 3 weeks ago as well. I am just so confused

OP posts:
Cruz86 · 28/12/2021 14:04

And they couldn't tell you where the bleeding was coming from at your last scan? I know how horrible the waiting around is, your mind just goes into overdrive 😞 x

FlyOnTheWall89 · 28/12/2021 19:22

@rita83 oh my goodness! What a shock to read this. I hope you’re okay. Keep us updated and I’ll keep everything crossed. I have a friend who is now 20 weeks pregnant who had a number of bleeds in the first 12 weeks, all resulting in scans and baby is fine. Cannot believe they’ve not scanned you, I would be so confused and scared.

@Cruz86 hoping it was IB for you!

We are both a bit down tbh. We really want it to happen and it’s just not happening. We are both super healthy early 30s, don’t do anything we shouldn’t and have regular sex. I’ve booked a progesterone blood test in January just to double check I’m ovulating. Surely early 2022 will bring us a positive!

Cruz86 · 28/12/2021 19:35

I doubt it is @FlyOnTheWall89! Would be soooo lucky if it was! Just waiting for my body to recognise that af needs to start soon.

I'm not surprised you're feeling down. How does your partner feel about semen analysis as well? Just to cover all bases. Or do you think you'll wait before exploring things like that? I hope Christmas took your mind off things for a little while at least xx

FlyOnTheWall89 · 28/12/2021 19:49

@Cruz86 ye I think he is moving towards getting it all checked. He has a super busy job and I think if there is something wrong it will take quite a lot of his head space which I think is concerning him. Typical man buries head situ lol.

Yes we had a wonderful Christmas and TTC is just a small part of our otherwise amazing life together which we keep having to remind ourselves and we are not in a massive rush for any specific reason, we are just getting impatient now. The idea of reaching next Christmas with no baby in our arms is so sad. Just got to keep moving forward and DTD. I was gifted an AVA from another newly pregnant lady on here (so kind), so I’m hoping maybe with that statistical insight we might be able to really be tactical about things this month. Keeping everything crossed, would love to not reach the 12 month mark.

Cruz86 · 28/12/2021 20:47

That's completely understandable @FlyOnTheWall89. I really hope it happens for you soon ❤️ It may be a small part of your life but when it's all consuming and something you both really want, it's hard to think of anything else isn't it. When will you be due to test your progesterone? Mid Jan? Ooh what's an AVA? How lovely that you were gifted it!!

rita83 · 28/12/2021 21:14

@Cruz86 no they could see I had a bleed but but wasn't sure where it was coming from. They said at my last scan that there was still blood in there as well. I am feeling ok at the moment, the bleeding has stopped and I can feel twinging on the left side in my uterus which I have felt all the way through as well. @FlyOnTheWall89 I will keep you updated as well, I am dreading it to be honest so horrible having to do all of this

OP posts:
Cruz86 · 28/12/2021 22:55

It is so hard and the worst part about it is there is literally nothing you can do 😞 thinking of you @rita83, let us know as soon as you do xx

rita83 · 29/12/2021 07:51

I know it's so hard. @Cruz86 I will let you know. I am up now and really nervous this morning but if I go in knowing my baby has gone then it's not going to as much of a shock to be told
This. This is how I need to focus which is horrible I know 😞

FlyOnTheWall89 · 29/12/2021 08:24

@rita83 I think you’re right. Go in with low expectations to manage the heartache. Let us know.

@Cruz86 from their website - it’s quite popular i think. “Worn only during sleep, the Ava bracelet tracks 5 physiological signals. It uses machine learning algorithms to extract from this data the 5 most fertile days of the menstrual cycle.”

Temping in the morning doesn’t work for us due to our schedule but this does it in your sleep and as you wear it for so long overnight, I think it is probably more accurate. Hoping this confirms I do ovulate and also confirms my FW so I know we are hitting the days. I definitely ovulated earlier than normal last month, maybe because of Covid, or maybe just natural fluctuations. We will see. Would love to get a BFP soon and then gift it on to someone else who needs it x

Cruz86 · 29/12/2021 09:15

@rita83 good luck, really hoping everything goes well this morning.

Oh wow, that's amazing @FlyOnTheWall89! Hopefully it will give you some insights and help you get your bfp too. I've started temping but only loosely because I know I can't really be very accurate with it either, but thought it would give me an idea 😂

Still no af for me now and on cd30 which is unheard of. Think my cycles are going to be different to before the mc!

FlyOnTheWall89 · 29/12/2021 10:06

Have you done a test @Cruz86? That once may be all that was needed! You’re super fertile after a MC. But equally, I’m sure after a MC, your body will be a tad different.

Yes I like the data it provides - excited to complete a month a see it all.

Cruz86 · 29/12/2021 10:44

@FlyOnTheWall89 I did one a couple of days ago, which I've been putting off for ages, to make sure it was negative after the mc. But hubby bought a digital weeks indicator one as it's all they had - not sure if it would pick something up at potentially 9/10dpo?

Yeah, hopefully having this will give you a bit of a spring in your step for the next couple of cycles (just one 🤞🏻) as something to keep you going and keep you interested as you learn new things about your body!

FlyOnTheWall89 · 29/12/2021 10:48

@Cruz86 yes from my extensive reading but zero experience of using one successfully, I think that is too early for a digital. Trying something new just takes the edge off. I did no OPKs or anything last month, was super chilled and no BFP so will try something different again! Keep me in the loop xx

Cruz86 · 29/12/2021 13:40

😂 I think so too! But my spotting has started again so I'm not going to do any testing. Yes exactly, good to try different things.

How did you get on @rita83? Xx

Mama500 · 29/12/2021 14:06

Hi everyone

@rita83 been thinking of you hope today went ok
@FlyOnTheWall89 that sounds amazing let us know how you get on
@Cruz86 yes super fertile I’m sure you will get your BFP within 3 months

Not change over here I’m not tracking my cycle or anything and I’m feeling good

Mama500 · 29/12/2021 14:07

Also our of curiosity. Are you all doubled jabbed? I am and wondering if I should get my booster

FlyOnTheWall89 · 29/12/2021 14:11

@Mama500 good for you! It does make a difference for sure. I’m finding the AVA helps me feel like I’m not tracking as it’s not very deliberate - I just wear it to bed!

Hopefully we will all be further forward in 3 months, particularly because that is my 12 month mark! Ekkkk!

Mama500 · 29/12/2021 14:16

I’m so confident you will get your BFP before 12 months @FlyOnTheWall89 I was the same as you all my tests came back normal I still wasn’t pregnant and then it happened. Some people just take a bit longer.

Cruz86 · 29/12/2021 14:57

It's amazing that you are in that frame of mind @Mama500! I say good for you too.

I hope this doesn't make you feel any different towards me (if you even have any thoughts about me 😂) but I'm not jabbed. In terms of the booster, I've heard lots of people haven't had any problems with it at all so it really is a personal choice!

FlyOnTheWall89 · 29/12/2021 16:04

@Mama500 ye I am double jabbed, but no booster yet as we have been away and I had Covid so there is a necessary gap. I’ll probs do it in early January, lots of people saying now it messed up their cycle. I didn’t have any of those kinds of side affects with the first two, so would hope I wouldn’t with the booster. I won’t get it around ovulation though, or in the TWW, just so I don’t torment myself 😂
