2WW anyone? Af due Friday

Hya all

I am new to mums net. I am currently in my tww and losing hope again for this month. My af is due Friday the 24th. I have no symptoms really! Slight bruised feeling in sides of my boobs, and yesterday and sharp stabbing pains in my pelvic area. That's about it really. Just feel like af will show again and it's not happened again. This was my chart for this month as well and when we dtd

I am completely crushed and just knew it was too good to be true. It all happened so quickly and I knew it wouldn't end well. I just keep replaying today over and over thinking did it really happen 😭 xx

@Cruz86 what did they say? Is that classed as a missed miscarriage? I can completely understand - nothing will make it better right now. Just take your time to recover emotionally and physically. Xxxx

Yeah it is, there was no growth from my scan last week and because I knew my dates to within a couple of days, I've been carrying this baby for about three weeks with no growth or heartbeat. Still feeling pregnant. It's so cruel xxx

@Cruz86 that is just terrible. So sorry you’re going through this. It still astonishes me how many women go through this and the next day just get on with normal life, don’t necessarily take a day or two off work. It is such a horrible thing to go through.

I should have the results back on Tuesday - some knowledge that all is okay and functioning I think will put my mind at rest. I’m going to start temping again this month. Really wanted to avoid it, but I think it’s the only way to be sure that I’m releasing an egg. X

Thank you all so much. I've felt okay today but it will hit me when I get into bed I think. Couldn't sleep from 1-5 this morning so part of me just wants it all to be over now. I hate knowing that baby has been inside me for nearly 4 weeks with no life 💔 I don't think we'll try again until spring/summer. I know it sounds silly, but the timings of birth etc were just perfect so unless we conceived immediately, I think we've missed the boat in terms of when we'd like baby to be born. I appreciate that sounds terrible when people struggle to conceive and would give anything to have a baby at any time of the year, but that's just how it'll work best for our little family.

Please keep me updated with your tests @FlyOnTheWall89. I'm going to have basic hormone testing done because I'm adamant I had issues with progesterone and asked my gp on multiple occasions if anything could be prescribed. I just want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to try and prevent this happening again. My heart goes out to people who have recurrent miscarriages 😞

@rita83 how are you getting on? I'm sorry, this must be hard for you to read and it should be happy and exciting for you, so I understand if you'd rather not reply. I'm very conscious of how anxiety-filled early pregnancy is at the best of times!! Xx

@Cruz86 what makes you think you have progesterone issues? I can’t remember if you’ve been trying long? Try not to think too hard about it. This will happen for you and if that is not until spring, then that will be the right time for your family.

No we hadn't been trying long at all, only two months! Was so so lucky. But I've been spotting for up to a week before my period is due for months and months. I've been to my gp (before TTC) to have hormone testing and they didn't see the need to do it. My symptoms weren't strong enough to warrant it apparently. So it was way before this that I suspected something. You know when you just know your body and something isn't quite right? X

Hello ladies. @Cruz86 this so unfair and yes I did find this quite hard to see as I am only in early stages as well. Mr drs appointment isn't until the 22nd of December so three days before Xmas and I haven't a clue what they do now at the drs. I only tested with these two tests which was when I posted them on here but then I done another cheap Asda one three days later and my line was even darker than the previous one. I am not going to test anymore. We are trying to stay positive as I have gone 8 days over my af now and I am roughly 5w 4days according to my last bleed which was the 22nd of October but I am not sure when I ovulated as my digital was saying 2-3 weeks and the two previous times with my chemical I actually never got to that stage. I feel really normal as well which is making me worry. The only thing I do have is when I get up in the mornings my boobs hurt. I haven't had sickness or anything yet. I am paranoid because of last times that I have experienced but there is nothing I can do but wait it out. I haven't had bleeding since October so I keep taking this as a positive sign. I really hope you are though and please look after yourself. @FlyOnTheWall89 I am ok thank you. Very nervous but taking each day as it comes. How are you xx

My results were all ‘normal’. They tested on day 2 of my cycle but they didn’t ask what the cycle day was so not sure if the bloods have actually checked ALL the necessary things. The were called fertility screener bloods. It’s a long sheet of loads of medical jargon and I just rung the receptionist the get them…. No explanation from a doctor or anything. I guess as it’s now early Christmas, I’ll probably see if we get a BFP on the next few cycles and then go for more tests in the new year. This is month 8, feels like 80, but I try to remind myself that there are still 4/5 more chances before we reach the year mark. X

Not good for me either. I have just been to urgent care at the hospital as started bleeding heavily around half 11. I am waiting on a call now from epu tbh I don't think it will be good news. Got so far this time as well and it's come away again 😞

Ah thank you @FlyOnTheWall89. I've got great support around me which is exactly what I need.

Do you get to have a chat with a dr or not? It's obviously positive that everything is 'normal' but if you're anything like me, also very frustrating because it then means you don't have answers as such! Like you say, try and relax over the Christmas period and see what happens in the new year xx

Hya guys, no I see a nurse and had my blood pressure taken at the urgent care unit. They done a urine sample and my test was strong for this. I was sent away to await a phone call from epu and this can take up to 24 hours so I am still waiting. I haven't had any pain though but was bleeding heavy earlier this morning. I think personally it has gone though! Just not meant to be is it 😞

No I haven't noticed but to be fair I had to stick a tampon in don't use pads and never had any in the house. Just a waiting game unfortunately but I know it will be bad news. May just retest in a week and see if the hcg levels drop which they sld do. X
