2WW anyone? Af due Friday

Hya all

I am new to mums net. I am currently in my tww and losing hope again for this month. My af is due Friday the 24th. I have no symptoms really! Slight bruised feeling in sides of my boobs, and yesterday and sharp stabbing pains in my pelvic area. That's about it really. Just feel like af will show again and it's not happened again. This was my chart for this month as well and when we dtd

@rita83 just seen this! For some reason I’m not getting notifications anymore. I had a lot EWCM on Friday morning, then noticeable amount this morning too. We have DTD CD12,14,15 (today). I’ve not been using the OPKs but I usually get my static on CD17.

I tested for Covid this evening which is mandatory for work and I’m positive . Hoping I don’t feel too poorly and can still DTD tomorrow / the next day.

Hello @FlyOnTheWall89 i am so sorry to hear this I hope you don't get too bad with this. Ewcm is a good sign and as long as u dtd when I see this it's fine and even before. I am ok like I said had the most horrible right hand pain in the week Tuesday I think. We have dtd last Sunday Tuesday just gone Thursday and yesterday I haven't a clue how many dpo I am cos it was supposed to be Friday but I reckon it was before that I don't know. I feel ok at the moment though x

When I was doing the school run and walking @FlyOnTheWall89 my boobs were killing they really hurt so maybe that I have ovulated already x

@Cruz86 it was super difficult but now I’m fine about it. I just knew it was coming because she has been eating so much toast and crackers at break time which isn’t very like her at all. Have you booked a scan yet?

Luckily feeling pretty okay at the mo.

So I've still go EWCM - not using OPKs this month, just going off EWCM. We DTD Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, today and will do tomorrow too but wait 24 hours ish. Quite nice that we are both at home now because usually our schedules are super hectic so we have just the evening between 7 and 9 as my bf leaves super super early for work. Feeling positive about this month, but trying to not build up the expectation.

@FlyOnTheWall89 I think you have dtd at good times I haven't really got a clue where I am with ovulation either so can't even say how many dpo I am. Strange thing is I have been seeing a lot this morning I went like three times in forty minutes. My boobs hurt as well. When I have been getting up in the night they hurt and I keep getting a stabbing pain in the left one. I was thinking 🤔 couldn't be pregnant already or cld I be from last time and still had a period which I have had before. Always had a period but found I was pregnant. Then I am thinking is it ovulation haha!!! But I have no cm at all now so if it is that then I ovulated a few days ago. Think you have got more dtd in than we have. We missed Friday and Saturday but if I ovulated Friday then we dtd on Thursday so cld be ok still. How have you found not testing for ovulation? I won't test at all until af is late or if i feel something isn't right. I am not going to test before af because of my experience before. @Cruz86 hello how are you doing now? Is all ok? You must have your first midwife appointment soon x

That's definitely a telltale sign isn't it @FlyOnTheWall89! I'm glad you're feeling positive this month and taking a little bit more of a relaxed approach with opks etc. What cd are you on and when is af due this month?

I'm good thank you! I've booked an early scan for next Monday as I'll be about 7 weeks and I've also got my booking appointment with the midwife next week too.

Sounds very interesting @rita83!! When is af due for you?

Hello @Cruz86 af due the 19th they are both sore and still sore at the moment but cld be where I have ovulated as the progesterone hormone rises doesn't it so won't really know yet what's going on x

@FlyOnTheWall89 how are you at the moment? I am ok. Still have sore boobs they are much worse than last month but cld just be the progesterone hormone. I have had some really horrible dreams as well but I tend to get that in the tww which is odd. No twinges as of such but implantation wld be around Sunday I think x

Rita83, sounds like you’re mid TWW unsure if they’re symptoms or usual body feelings. I never get sore boobs so if I got them, that would be very out of the ordinary for me.

I’m now CD19. I didn’t use OPKs this month but had my last bit of noticeable EWCM on CD17 (it started on cd13). We didn’t DTD yesterday CD18, I was just feeling not great at all, but we did 12,14,15,16,17 - do you guys think this is enough? I haven’t noticed ovulation pain this month so not sure when I ovulated.

Not sure if you’ve used CB before but when I usually get my static, which is CD17, it suggests the egg will be released 12-36 hours after that, but EWCM was last seen on CD17. I guess maybe I usually I use FMU, so could get a static evening of day 16 if I tested at that point.

Hya @FlyOnTheWall89 haha that's ok I do the same as well. I think looking at you dtd you are doing it too much. They say not to do everyday as it doesn't give the sperm enough time to refresh and every other day is better or every 2 days. My boobs are still hurting as well when I touch them they are killing feel really bruised. And the nipples and I don't normally get sore nipples so I am really unsure. I've had no cm at all since I had the ewcm which was ages ago. My af is 8 days away as well now so a week still to go. How many dpo are you now roughly x

@rita83 not too long until you could take an early test, but I know you’re unlikely to want to after the chemical.

Yes it’s interesting. I read a few research papers that actually suggested everyday is better for sperm motility, you just increase quantity by doing it every other day but quantity isn’t related to fertility. It’s also not a chore for us and just happened that way - it was always 24 hours apart so still time for regeneration. I’m trying to just let nature take its course. It has become exhausting looking into every little detail. So we will see what happens and keep everything crossed.

@FlyOnTheWall89 yeah I see your point actually as long as you are hitting your fertile days I don't think it matters but it's all about timing the egg needs to be waiting there and sometimes they live 12 hours and other times 24 hours. Think we only dtd 4 times in my fertile week and we don't really stress about it too much now just act like we aren't trying now and if I fall one month then great!!! Yes I will keep you updated. I don't think it's worked again this month though just have a feeling x

How are you feeling @FlyOnTheWall89? Has Covid knocked you for six? It took our household just over two weeks to fully recover! I think you've dtd perfectly. A really good amount of times. We did it every day for about two weeks and look where I am now! I don't think you have to worry about doing it too much. Got my fingers crossed for you.

@rita83 they sound like good signs if you don't normally get sore boobs/nipples like this! Not long to wait now :)

@Cruz86 yes I know but you can get this after ovulation as well. My egg wouldn't even implant til Sunday roughly anyway so don't think it's related to pregnancy I just get down now and try not to think about it anymore. Me and hubby used to be so obsessed with it but now we don't really let it take over cos that's when it's likely not to happen. Just be my luck ey I will end up with bfp thinking that I haven't 😂 xx

@Cruz86 ye it really has surprisingly. I had avoided it up until this point despite being a year 1 teacher in the midst of pandemic so I was in school / work / taking the tube / bus etc. I’m was vaccinated quite early so I’m wondering if I don’t have many anti-bodies left or something. I feel really shit. Hoping by the weekend I perk up.

Not doing OPKs has meant I don’t know exactly how many DPO I am which I actually prefer @rita83. So girls, if I usually get a static smiley on CD17, do I could CD18 as 1DPO even though technically, ovulation could have happened on day 18? Xx

Hi @Mama500! Of course, the more the merrier. This is an older thread so not overly active with lots of people but @rita83 and I are still here and @Cruz86 checks in too having already got her BPF last month!

The TWW is a killer, but stay strong. I think Rita83 and I are in agreement that we don’t test until AF is due. I try not to symptom spot, but when you’re living in your own body, it’s kind of impossible not to notice things that are out of the ordinary, but I really try to focus on other things.

How many cycles have you been TTC? What is your ‘story’? Xx

But I think the thing to think about is whether it's normal for you to have sore boobs like that @rita83. If it is then, yeah, it's not an accurate symptom for you because it could mean either way. If you don't normally get this sore, I think it's a good sign!

Sorry to hear you're not feeling great @FlyOnTheWall89. I felt exactly the same - had avoided it for so long! Hope you start to feel better soon. I'd say if you normally get your peak on cd17 that you can say 2dpo today but bear in mind that it might only be 1 as well.

Hay @Cruz86 yeah it is an odd kne they are still sore today haha. Just hasn't gone at all. Normally it goes but I just don't know. Af due next Friday not feeling anything else really at all but last time when I conceived I didn't really feel any different apart from the aching low down really x

Hello @Mama500 you have been trying the same time as me. We have been trying since June as well. I had a chemical back in January and had one in October as well. I only have sore boobs and ov day was supposed to be Friday the 5th but not sure if it was that day or not x

Hi all, I’m trying to work out my ovulation day this month. My cycles used to be regular but since my COVID jabs they’ve got longer. After 2 months of thinking AF was late and testing, I’m trying ovulation tests.

If I’ve got my testing right I think I’m ovulating today CD15! I had my peak yesterday and we DTD last night so fingers crossed. Hoping to try again later but depends if DS co-operates

Hi @MrsLeclerc. I'd say that because you got your peak in the morning of cd14, you could have ovulated that day or cd15. So sounds like you've covered your bases! Good luck xx
