It’s been thirteen million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…its September, autumn in full swing and we haven’t done too bad so far this month compared to previous months but I still think we are owed ladies.

Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

It costs an embarrassing life (or TTC) story for your ticket please then you can hop on board

Agency bus driver at the wheel.…

All aboard bus number 48

Plugging @minster2012 blog \\\___, we’ve had cancer, travels & ivf so need to get to the fun stuff, more ivf, surrogacy and more! #shamelessplug
minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens
& minstermusings on insta - some of our ladies have made special anonymous accounts so we can link up via me 🥰 so if Insta gets mentioned it’s there

If you want to sign up & get updates please do, please note your username if you comment shows up to others so maybe make it anonymous I won’t be offended 😂🤣(unless you are mean)

@DKDK123 echoing the other ladies - spotting is totally normal but completely understand why it’s stressful. Try to rest as much as you can - you’re doing absolutely everything right to keep yourself healthy. And bloody good effort on the BJ front, DH should be so lucky!

@Lexber sorry to hear about the sickness, what kind of meds do they recommend for it? Hopefully you get some relief!

@Minster2012 @bez91are you both still taking progesterone? Still annoying side effects from that or has it been okay?

whatwonder · 24/09/2021 08:10

@Kirky658 Im sure the PND and medications might seem a bit overwhelming but it’s so good that you are advocating for yourself. I think pnd is so much more common than we realise!

whatwonder · 24/09/2021 08:11

Oh and good luck today @clolo 🐣 ! Hope you have a lovely holiday as well x

DKDK123 · 24/09/2021 08:33

Keeping everything crossed for a successful transfer @clolo 🤞

Minster2012 · 24/09/2021 08:41

@DKDK123 they DEFINITELY need feedback it's ridiculous. You can't have the same thing happen a number of times and be ok or think there might not be a reason or need support??

@clolo that's so exciting! I think a relaxing break would be a perfect embryo start!

@whatwonder I'm def still on the progesterone and side effects (other than trickling out of me?!) are waking up early (like 3/4am) then struggling to go back to sleep, and HUGE painful boobs which I hope is a combination of pregnancy progesterone & added progesterone but other than that ok. I would find it interesting if the two of us who are on it now, plus @blackcurrantqueen being on it before (having a healthy pregnancy now) end up having healthy pregnancies after loss. I hope this is the case. It's by no means a scientific study but interesting as that's the one thing I'm doing differently this time (oh and proceive vitamins instead of pregnacare)

@Juno231 just watched your Insta story & disagreeing with open fire vs log burner! Log burner allllll the way!

Got my shacket on today. Feeling super trendy. 🤣

How's the pointy end crew of TWW feeling?

whatwonder · 24/09/2021 08:48

@Minster2012 feeling very pointy indeed. Was going to try to hold off on testing until next week (af due around Tuesday I think) but don't know if I can wait that long. Might do a test tomorrow morning (11/12dpo). Still have very sore boobs and other symptoms I'm no doubt bringing on psychosomatically.

@DKDK123 I agree that you should complain, that is so insensitive of them!

larrythelizard · 24/09/2021 09:02

It's a shame we're all just strangers on the internet and one of us can't watch DS for you so you could get an earlier private scan @DKDK123!

Massive painful boobs is a good thing @Minster2012 - hang in there!

What a day @clolo!! What's in store for holiday? Sunshine and mocktails?

You're doing well to hold off until then @whatwonder!

I'm going to book a holiday today for end of June - back on distracting myself over the lack of TTCing...! What else can I book up...! DH is sort of rolling his eyes at me but gets why...!

kaylsd · 24/09/2021 10:17

@paintfairy talk about going from 0 to 100MPH after that appointment, glad to hear your treatment is starting even on a quick front and with having good feedback from others about your consultant it gives you a little bit of reassurance that you’ll be in good hands! I think I’ll also be going down the route of ICSI when I have my follow up next month :) from morphology / motility issues
@manifestingbaby I’m the same hunny talk about watching paint dry waiting for my follow up appointment! When’s yours hunny :)? Did they give you insight what to expect on your next one? Isit a long wait time for SAs? Around my area it’s only about 2weeks or so on NHS
@Kirky658 you are going down the right paths for recovery and support sweetheart, I know it might feel scary and daunting hearing a diagnosis but you are in good hands and your not facing any battles alone xxxx
@lexber I hope the sickness passes soon and the medication kicks in to make you feel better,
Hoping this is temporary for you and will make you feel more human at some point 🥺
@DKDK123 I’m sorry to hear about your spotting, that’s a strong looking positive despite it! Hopefully you can sort out some arrangements to get a private scan to give you some reassurance? I second @larrythelizard if we was only near by for you we could have a MN crèche to sort out that issue for you, I’m hoping the spotting is just that little bean getting all snuggly where they should be 🥺🤞🏻
@minster2012 do I get classed as a crew member of the TWW as I’m 7DPO for first time in like forever, had odd cramps & boobs are sensitive but it’s always same then my dear old friend AF normally shows up 14 DPO always but we shall see! However the only downfall is that she’s due when I go to tattershall lakes for 4 days 😒😒😒

I’ve had a productive morning this morning 3 loads of washing done and hung out and ironing done after it’s within my 4 working days time to do it 🤣🤣🤣 done some winter clothes shopping and got two new coats a black longline puffet for dog walking and a nice red teddy longline coat for winter nights out 🍁🍁🍁 I’m currently on annual leave now for first time since 2/6 and it’s well overdue 🥺 I still can’t put in my notice which is so frustrating as my DBS check isn’t back even though I know I’ve not broken any laws for anything to flag but the trust I’ve got my new post in have stated for me not to place in my notice in my current job until everything’s back 😫😫😫 and even then it’s a 8 week notice so I’m expecting it to be back end november now / early December I’ll be leaving 🤨
Hope everyone’s alright 😘

Vil10 · 24/09/2021 10:56

@Kirky658 massive well done for asking for help and hopefully these counselling sessions and tablets can be the way to you feeling your normal self again, keep going girl x

@Minster2012 loved the shacket post this morning!

@Lexber must be awful but like you say it's all for a good reason and must mean baby is doing well!

@DKDK123 little bean is just getting comfy in there!! Rest this weekend lovely and be kind to yourself x

@clolo good luck today and have a lovely holiday❤️

@larrythelizard yasss to booking a holiday!! We booked Edinburgh the other day for the Christmas markets, going the week before Christmas and even taking the dogs with us! Dying for a holiday but neither of us are jabbed so waiting patiently for the rules to change🤞🏼

@kaylsd very productive!! Ohh that's disappointing on the job but hopefully it'll go quick!! Where are going instead?

Well I'm feeling very periody, got the CM i usually get before af too, probs gonna start Sunday/Monday, I'm out tomorrow so that means I'll be extra bloated😩 can't even be arsed being arsed about starting another cycle, I'm so over crying about CD1's now😂 can't believe it's Friday already though!! OH is doing steak for tea tonight and said he'll have it ready for when I'm home after work so I've got thst to look forward to! Hope everyone is okay x

larrythelizard · 24/09/2021 11:03

Good work on the coats @kaylsd - as well as the shacket I have a leopard puffa jacket in the post somewhere...might be able to get on board with colder weather with new coats to look forward to!

@Vil10 love a steak night, we're on massive ribs tonight!

Manifestingbaby · 24/09/2021 11:12

Just popping on to wish you good luck @clolo 😁😁😁 very exciting after the long wait! Hope all goes well.

Will be back to catch up later. Hope all our ostriches are doing well 😘

kaylsd · 24/09/2021 11:19

@Vil10 I've got a specialist post in oncology nursing at another trust :) I'm currently a community staff nurse for the last 10 month, I took a leap to move to Community for palative care experience and it certainly gave me the foundations for the role I'm going for :) Snap for tea! Im also having steak tonight but hubs on a health kick since last poor SA and he doesn't want any chips with it.. not even a jacket potato either! I'm gutted 🤣🙈 sending hugs for the cd1 it comes round too many times 🥺🥺🥺
@larrythelizard oooo that sounds so nice I’m partial to a animal print! I think if we got new winter wardrobes or odd little wintery bits ready to wear we can tackle the shit weather which will be no doubt around the corner 🤣🙈
@clolo good luck for today sweetheart forgot to mention it earlier ❤️❤️❤️

bez91 · 24/09/2021 11:28

@whatwonder yes still on the progesterone, it's my first time on it but yes the bloat is unreal and the leakage is bloody annoying but I can't complain too much. I feel sick as a dog and massive fatigue but that's probably not the progesterone.

Definitely book a holiday @larrythelizard something to look forward to as a distraction. We booked in august for November and it's a good focus point

@kaylsd you're on fire this morning 🔥 that's annoying on the job, my dad was an NHS worker and every time he moved jobs it took him 8+ months for police checks etc 🙄

@Vil10 yessss love a steak 🥩 I think I'm skiving off for a few hours at lunch to go out with DH just us two which will be nice 😊

Minster2012 · 24/09/2021 12:12

@clolo yesssss!! 🙌🏻happy holidays!

@kaylsd def in the pointy bit I think

@Vil10 & @kaylsd im also on steak tonight, but gonna make it into a stir fry so I don't feel like I've disgusted myself and over cooked it!

Oh my god @larrythelizard i LOVE ribs yummmmmm and we are gonna need a pic of the Leopard jacket. I think my neon leopard bag has just arrived 🙂

Shacket off now as 22degrees here 🤣

Minster2012 · 24/09/2021 12:13

Also feel we need a ph tire of the teddy coat @kaylsd

@whatwonder everything crossed for you, that the symptoms are real 🤞🏻

Lexber · 24/09/2021 14:20

@whatwonder I'm on some anti sickness medication (can't remember what it's upstairs I will check later) and antibiotics for water infection.

I'd say that's 2WW time @kaylsd 🤞🏼 for that and the dbs!!

I'm trying to stay positive @Vil10 for the first time in forever I switched my alarms off - sent kids to school, took my medication tried to have some toast and water then went back to sleep and woke at 1.30pm so I must have needed it!

Glad it all went well @clolo and those chips sounded good I seem to have a thing for them at the weekend with ice cold maccys Diet Coke 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

Woke feeling hungry which is good but went to the loo and had slight blood stain - after dr google it is most likely from my water infection 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 wasn't much and very faint stained If that makes sense but enough to notice. Onto the sofa to try and drink some fluids (not had much this morning) and eat some veg and Yorkshire puddings with gravy as I just fancy them again (tried to eat some yesterday) and watch MAFSUK from last night...

kaylsd · 24/09/2021 16:43

@bez91 I wonder if it's a common occurrence for the NHS then, employment and treatment expect delays 🤣🙈
@cloclo you’ve got this girl 🙌🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@minster2012 I wonder if there’s some small print for Fridays to have steak with the sounds 🤣 here’s the coat https://www.misspap.com/oversized-teddy-coat/MPP99180-10.html?color=157 I wonder if I’ve got to pose the exact same to pull it off looking like I’ve got a broken neck 🤣😘
@lexber who knows what’s gonna happen for the next 7 days waiting miracles have happened prior!

Manifestingbaby · 24/09/2021 16:55

@Kirky658 I'm sorry things are so rough but glad you are getting help. Mind yourself love, just concentrate on Alice as and much self care as you can get in and let the rest slide x

@Minster2012 we are good thanks. OH found it all a bit distressing initially but he's got his head around it and is more positive now. He's on procieve. We are just accepting it may not happen now and leaving it to fate 🤷‍♀️ so happy to hear you got your 3+ 😃

@Lexber sorry you are so sick! Hope things improve with the tablets.

@DKDK123 my heart is in my mouth reading your updates. I hope everything is ok. I know bleeding can be perfectly normal but givyour history I'm sure it's really upsetting. Crossing everything for you.

@paintfairy i missed things were moving for you but sounds like full speed ahead! Great!

@kaylsd just a bit of a wait so there's time between both SAs. About 6 weeks to wait to next appointment which should be to discuss nexts steps based on latest SA but they've already said ivf /icsi will likely be only option and we don't want to go that way 🙁 how long have you to wait?

@whatwonder good luck if you test in the morning. 11/12 dpo is very respectable! I have often caved earlier.

@Vil10 sorry you feel periody. I hear you, cd1 is all to familiar at this stage!

Yay @clolo PUPO isn't it? 🥳 enjoy the hols

Manifestingbaby · 24/09/2021 17:22

Finally caught up. Sorry for being a poor passenger. I know I have missed bits as I was only skim reading last week. I'm not as much in the ttc mindset at the moment as we have very little chance of it happening and we are in the process accepting that and living more in the real world than a hypothetical one! I'm very invested in so many journeys here though and don't think I can hop off the bus yet 🥰

kaylsd · 24/09/2021 19:49

@Manifestingbaby awww hunny you sound similar to me, we had our repeat SA which was 10x worse than last one but GP decided to investigate it which we've found that he's got a left sided varicocele which may be linked so he's now waiting for urology, our follow up at fertility clinic is on 27th October which isn't too bad I guess the 3 month waits between seem to be a drag 🙈 if they recommend me and DH having ICSI we are considering private if the wait times are long

Somatronic · 24/09/2021 21:32

@Manifestingbaby can relate to that feeling.

@Minster2012 I've finally got around to buying evening primrose capsules and grapefruit juice. Can I ask you a few questions? First of all I'm on the third day of my period (CD2 according to my nurse though) and I only took them this evening - is missing a few days OK? Also I got pink grapefruit juice - is that OK? I thought it tasted really nice and not even slightly like an ass so I wondered if I'd bought the wrong one Grin

Manifestingbaby · 24/09/2021 21:48

@Somatronic a lot of that feeling about!

@kaylsd hopefully getting that issue resolved will help. Very disheartening to see the SA get worse! Ours was abysmal so don't think it can get much worse 😂 ever the positive thinker 😂 my appointment is early November so similar
