It’s been thirteen million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…its September, autumn in full swing and we haven’t done too bad so far this month compared to previous months but I still think we are owed ladies.

Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

So we are having our friends over later for tea, so I'm going to make the dessert this morning with DS, boozy rhubarb fool with the left over rhubarb from inside our rhubarb gin I made & ginger biscuits so that's DS's & my job this morning. Should keep me going then I think I will book the scan tomorrow for next Sunday. Still basically not feeling anything 7+5 today so around then next Sunday.

@Franklydear it definitely sounds positive with DS.
@clolo unless it turns into proper bleeding then it could just be your body. It's hard not to panic. My mum had 'periods' when having me first 4 months. Literally everyone is different so it's impossible to know. I'm remaining hopeful for you (but I agree I'd be very stressed if it were me).

@paintfairy how late is AF? It's been so nice today, wouldn't know it was October ☀️

@bez91 its not technically late yet. If I ovulated the usual day, its today. But could come tomorrow. However I usually get 3-5 days spotting beforehand and I've not had that. Buserelin can delay AF though and that's not helpful at all. A day or 2 I don't mind. If its ages and I have to keep injecting myself forever, I'll be less than impressed!

@paintfairy they mentioned it might be slightly affected didn't they...welcome to ivf...you spend years hoping for AF not to show then you need AF for ivf and yep you guessed it 🙄🙄😩obviously we hope it's for other reasons

Yeah on a normal month I'd be ecstatic with no spotting and AF not appearing yet. 🤣

Watching swats in Netflix, and ds has a complaint, in these cop shows there never are many girls in the team, and they can do just as good a job, he would like to see at least half the team are girls, there’s only one in this one

@Franklydear @Minster2012 it reminded me of trying to count animals in cages that are running around. It's never right. 🤣 The weather is lovely! I wish it could be like this more often. Pleasant but not baking it's great for me. Just how I like it.

Strange thing to be excited about, but I have spotting this morning. 🤪

Hi everyone, I'm back an have a lot to catch up. I hope you're all fine! My SIL and her boyfriend were here for a week with their cute puppy and I had a lot of distraction. I'm 9dpo today, no symptom spotting so far. Breasts hurt a bit, but that's normal for that phase. AF is supposed to show up on Friday.

Morning all. Wasn't around all weekend because I had a migraine so I was asleep most of the time! Feel better today though.

Re cheese: cheese is life. I love it. I love everything about it. But I'd never choose a cheese board over a dessert. I'm not a sociopath.

@clolo thinking of you and hoping everything is OK. I can't imagine how hard it's going to be for you to wait for the scan. We're all here for you.

I went for my fourth bloody follicle tracking scan of this cycle today and finally we have a follicle ready to go. It's 17.6mm. The only problem is that I have to take the trigger shot at 6pm tomorrow which means I'll be in work as tomorrow is the busiest day of the year for us so I'm not looking forward to that. Last time I had DH do it because I'm too chicken to inject myself but I'll have to get over that quickly tomorrow I guess and try to lock my office door for 5 mins to do it.

@Minster2012 cheese is life! Blues are tougher to find good ones I think but I love Strathdon blue as it's a bit creamier and salty! For triple cream my favourite is Brillat Savarin 🤤

CD2 here today - a bit disappointed as we did hit O-2 so technically that's another failed cycle. Oh well.

@Juno231 I shall add those cheeses to the list for when I can eat them again 😩😩it must be heartbreaking each month I can't imagine, but it's only a couple of weeks til your ivf appointment right? Is it 26th?

@Somatronic you only need one follicle & il sure you e got the jabbing, I didn't do it to start off with but you soon get over it. A sociopath for picking a cheese board?!! Nooo, it all depends what mood I'm in if I go for a cheese board or not really as I do have a really sweet tooth 😬

@Bundaberg84 Soubds like great distraction! My SIL is coming over this afternoon it's her puppy so I've got similar, do you think you'll test or wait?

@Minster2012 seems like it! Aww I love puppies. Do I want another one? I don't know. So much work. My pup is 14 in two months, she's starting to show her age, but compared to the puppy we had here for two weeks it's so nice to be an "experienced team" so to speak.
I think I'll hold out. At least a couple more days.
