Last night's injection was better. I iced it briefly before and then straight after. Now I know to do that. 🙄 CD21 today and no spotting yet this month. Sounds typical. 🤣 Last month it was horrendous, this has been a good month for me.

@larrythelizard well so far I've not logged on to Citrix (wtf they didn't give me a laptop??) as it requires a password that my boss is meant to give me... Except he hasn't called and isn't responding to my messages. 😂

My cold is even worse today! Spent allll night coughing so I look and feel like a zombie. I'm already longing for my lunch break so I can have a nap.

@larrythelizard my boss has a blood pressure monitor in her office because she's obsessed with that particular ailment so I won't say that or she'll have me hooked up to the sleeve 🤣 I'll give her a letter from the hospital (the name of the hospital will give her a clue) and tell her I'm having woman's problems that I don't want to talk about and hope she takes the hint!

@Somatronic sorry to hear that, hopefully you get some answers on Thursday. Will you boss be supportive/understanding if you tell them the real reason? I'm having 1/2 a week but luckily I don't have to put them all in my diary as can wangle them between my visits if they're just quick like blood tests

Nothing happening here, day off today so some DIY bits to do and having hair done later. Really need to find some easy exercise to get into to keep my mind on the straight and narrow

@bez91 I don't know how she'll be. She doesn't mind these things as long as they don't cause her any problems (i.e. me not being there to sort everything out). I just don't want her to be sort of wondering if I'm pregnant if that makes sense. Like, asking me or wondering if its worked etc. A few times I've had a tummy bug or casually mentioned that the smell of coffee was turning my stomach and she diagnoses me as pregnant every time. I know her sister had a baby in her 40s after marrying late so she must have some level of understanding about these things. Anyway because this could take years or maybe never happen I'd rather keep it to myself for now at least.

@somatronic thank you darling :) we found a country pub where the owners came out to see her as they had a 9 week old cockapoo who looked like her double when she was a pup 🥺
@larrythelizard swings and roundabouts isn’t it! DH mentioned today that he wants to pay private for IVF to get the ball rolling but I’ve said to see what they’ll say at the end of the month with our follow up because we will be candidates no doubt for one round on NHS and the waiting list may not be too dreadful 🤞🏻
@bez91 I wouldn’t be too fussed where aslong as the hotel is nice! Sun is sun to me, DH has like ginger skin and burns so easily to point he wears factor 50 id like a long haul, DH doesn’t like long haul as he was put off by Cape Verde in 2019 when he had d&V on the way home 🤣 squid games is like a Korean version of hunger games purge kinda vibes combined (I’m probably the worst person to describe stuff) but it’s a game show where people apply when they are in lots of debt for a huge cash prize with some murdery twists :)

@bez91 @Somatronic it doesn't help that they didn't communicate that I'm meant to use my own personal laptop... what decade is this?? I don't even have a decent one, am having to use OHs.

Still not managed to log in. IT issues as my virtual desktop won't launch. My last call to IT took 50 min (30 min on hold) and they fobbed me off at the end saying it should work now, I just need to wait 10-15 min. Well obv it didn't and so now I'm on hold again... IT support seems to sit in India so the language barrier was very real as well :((

@Juno231 sorry to hear the first day isn't going smoothly. Nowhere seems to be organised for new starts! Is using your own laptop temporary during probation? I'm surprised as you're in finance, right? Really thought they'd want to control the device you are working from in that sector. Hope the cold eases soon too! Just think of your first pay cheque to get you through 😅

@Minster2012 id probably have been disappointed with the white chocolate bits on that bar too haha I'd just assume it's the normal one as I don't tend to pay attention to packaging. One perk of my husband being diabetic means all chocolate and sweet snacks in my place are safe 😆 until the little guy arrives that is!

Nothing yet! Trying to only test once a week so I don’t spend a fortune on tests.
Had a telephone appointment with a Dr (unrelated) and she asked about my cycle, shes decided to do a blood test for FSH&LH which Dr google says is standard hormone check? Couldn’t get a blood test near me until 15th but I managed to get one at the hospital 35mins away on Wednesday 👍

@Juno231 how ridiculous. What if you didn't have one? Mine is pretty slow and cranky so I'm not sure mine would hold up to such things.

What @Juno231 they've not given you a laptop??? What??? My BIL is an equity investment finance manager for octopus & when he went on sabbatical they sent a courier to pick up his laptop so he didn't have it for 3 months

I agree with all of you @clolo @2020mission @paintfairy that it's ridiculous! What if I didn't have a laptop? And even if I do, it's unheard of to use your own in financial services. Even piss poor rbs provide their staff with laptops. Perhaps mine do as well and my boss just forgot to arrange it?

I'm not having a good day though lol - had a big nosebleed, went out to grab a coffee only to lock myself out of the house and am now sat on my stoop bleeding straight on to the pavement. Waiting for OH to arrive with keys.

@Minster2012 I've been working through some honeycomb KitKats. Not sure if they are new or I've just missed them before but they are good! I've never been a white chocolate fan... I think it's similar to the whole caramac thing something in it just makes them too sickeningly sweet for me 😆

I've hit the "can't poo" stage of pregnancy, but for me that means once a day 🤣but it's painful. Great. It's a horrible feeling I can't imagine how @Lexber feels. Wondering if mine is anything to with bullets up the bum 🤔

@Minster2012 are you taking more iron now? I've escaped any pregnancy bowel issues so far 🤞 but at 27 weeks there's plenty of time for it to hit me!
