But having just watched the videos on what to do with it all I'm thinking wtaf? I'm OK with the buserelin but at my scan I'm going to have to clarify the rest of it. Terrifying!

So I need to update you...I didn't say last night as was told wouldn't be conclusive BUT..

I was offered a scan with the top sonographer today after I pushed and pushed and blubbed snotty howling on the phone & said I was gonna go crazy and I said as i did here about any information is better than none. So they agreed on the basis that it's not 14 days and may not show an empty sac of 25mm so couldn't be conclusive. But I just wanted to talk to her, to grill her.

Anyway. I’ve been in with her & she was lovely. Firstly she said “I told them to tell you they were highly UNLIKELY cystic areas to indicate a partial molar pregnancy” (which would be unviable & end in miscarriage or a D&C) …”WHAT??” I said, “That’s not what I got told. I got told” she apologised and said she definitely had told them that to tell me.

So now what we have is an EMBRYO WITH A HEARTBEAT!! 💓🌈🤞🏻measuring 6+2 & the cystic area is another subchorionic hematoma. The cysts aren’t in the big which would show a partial molar pregnancy, though they won’t rule it out until the 12 week scan it’s HIGHLY UNLIKELY. So it’s a baby growing as it should 🙌🏻hopefully with the right genetic make up! 🤞🏻

She said I could expect bleeding, a fair bit of it until 20 weeks. But unless I get a big “gush” I had to try to stay calm & not have another internal scan so no disruption as it could cause damage. I have to be very careful. 😬

OMFG I’m elated. And pissed that I didn’t get told what she said. Had I not pushed & sobbed then I would’ve gone 2 weeks thinking it was over & likely done too much cos I thought it was over & done damage. Whereas now I gotta act like glass

Maybe I am that kintsugi @InkyPaper & that's my next task to do that thing of beauty, but I don't want to break this now we have hope 🤞🏻🌈

@2020mission I'm raging too but trying to stay calm! Yes I've never seen a heartbeat before, never seen anything over 5.5 weeks til this last scan, except X who we have in my friend

@kaylsd the rescan is cancelled, she said not necessary to have another scan until 12 weeks now. I asked about abdo ones and she said that's fine but they won't do it. I still have the deposit at a private place I booked last time & they wouldn't give me a refund due to miscarriage, so I might book that for in between. You guys will have to keep me going

@paintfairy let's hope I can stress less 🤣🙄I'm not meant to have stress after all due to no cortisol!

AAAAAAHHHHHHHH! I knew your luck hadn’t run out @Minster2012! Fantastic news I’m so happy for you! Now go and wrap yourself in some cotton wool already!

We did SMEP when we got BFP’s, it is tiring - more for DH than me 😉 but I really enjoyed it and it definitely worked - I think the key ones are O-1 and O+1 we never did both of those consistently in the months I didn’t fall pregnant.

@Minster2012 oh absolutely go and get an abdominal scan from that shit place that wouldn't refund before! They owe you. I can't remember how many weeks along abdominals are possible... is it 8 weeks? It would be good to check how it's going in between now and 13 weeks especially if you have a bleed as they said you might as naturally anyone would worry with that. I was totally freaked when I had the spotting and bleed for 4 days around 7 weeks. I hadn't booked in with the maternity unit yet when it happened and so I couldn't call and ask for a scan or anything and had to just wait it out.

@bez91 the only thing up next is 100% relaxation and distraction till this 8week scan. Still mentally preparing myself for it being a missed miscarriage as all symptoms disappeared just before the 5week mark which would be typically when I've lost the others. Tests lines are still strong but mentally prepared to hear it didn't progress, however if mother nature has decided after my shit run of pregnancies that I just deserved a break with no symptoms for a while then I'll happily take that blessing! 🙏 If not.....well maybe I'll sign up for another challenge to distract myself 😂

I actually have a lessening of symptoms too, was def poking my boobs yesterday thinking they weren't as sore but I thought it might be my head saying it's not worked 🌈🌈🤞🏻💪🏻this one is making life better for you xx

@2020mission yeah I need to get on the self referral too I guess now so they can talk me down if I bleed. I had left it to not jinx it. I feel more reassured now but we know that sometimes miscarriages can still happen after a heartbeat 🤞🏻😩

@DKDK123 sounds a plan. I've had a dwindle in symptoms too, so hard not to over analyse everything. DH has taken to tweaking my nipples to make sure they're still sore but they're not 🙄

The dreams I've had this week have been bonkers. I've been out on a date with 4 separate blokes from work (none of which are attractive or even some my generation 🤢, we've been for food, cinema, bowling you name it 😂) last night I woke up at 2:30 because someone was knocking on my front door. I probably dreamt it but I've been practically awake since wondering what if I didn't 🤦🏼‍♀️😆

@minster2012 yea have my scan booked for the 16th, have a weekend break with the family next weekend so that'll keep my mind off things for a short spell at least!
DS was cuddling my belly yesterday and announced sadly that there was no Robbie in there anymore only his baby sister Emily 🤔 I still haven't confirmed or denied to him that there's anything there I just keep saying we don't know if the doctors have fixed my tummy yet or not but he is adamant it's fixed and he has a baby sister Emily in there. Who knows, maybe he really does know something that we don't and maybe there was 2 now 1 and that's why the symptoms were so strong at the start (twins do run both sides of our family). May cling to that thought to explain why the lack of symptoms now, clutching at straws but better than nothing 😂
How are you feeling today after letting it all sink in? I'd be putting in an official complaint about the way communication was handled, that could really have spiralled you over the edge the next 2 weeks for nothing!

@bez91 I'm the same, my boobs were feeling like they were on fire any time my bra just brushed against them and now I'm constantly squeezing them in the hope of just feeling a twinge of pain but absolutely nothing. 🤷‍♀️ What crazy dreams, hope you didn't get frisky with any of them in the dreams or you may not be able to look them in the eye at work 😂
