Having a lovely time with my parents, DS fell off a swing yesterday and bashed up his face 😬😬😬

Thanks for all the well wishes for my DD, she is ok, a little quiet but ok. Police haven't been yet but as it isn't deemed an emergency not completely surprised tbf. Just a little annoyed!

It's my besties baby shower today at 1pm, she is 25 weeks ahead of me and no one except another close friend knows so I will be trying my hardest not to throw up or look like I'm going to pass out 🤣 my friend (the money pregnant one) has promised to eat half my food so no one notices as it is afternoon tea... 🤣🤣 going to take my anti sickness medication half an hour before we go and nibble biscuits to hopefully keep it at bay. I suppose it's a practice for work tomorrow as I have a meeting in the office which I am dreading!!
I've managed to shower but now sat half asleep on my bed trying to will myself to actually get ready 🤦🏽‍♀️

Cycle day 18 here and not sure what's wrong with me, feel furious at the world. Poor DS and OH. Just very irritable.

@whatwonder great news on the 2-3weeks! Let's hope this is it. No more spotting since Friday which is good, I've swapped the pessaries to up the bum so maybe that's helped 🤞🏻🤞🏻🙄the things we do eh?! I'm still bricking it, literally. Cramping loads. Trying to stay positive

@Vil10 is unfriendly her tbh, I had something the other week where someone on one of my fb groups announced her 4th pregnancy at 5 weeks and wanted to buy maternity stuff and was asking if she announced it on her Insta would ppl unfollow her (she uses it a lot to try promote her business), I said I would and she wasn't listening to why 🤦🏼‍♀️

Quiet one for us today, not feeling great but prepping some chicken tacos for later. DH has been out most of the day, he's on call but can't do his call outs as no where has fuel ⛽️ horaaaar 🙄

@lexber shocking what happened to your daughter, hope they catch the girls that did it and that it doesn't shake her confidence too much. 😔 Hope you manage a sickness free baby shower, dont know why they call it morning sickness when it's usually all day round sickness 🤔

@vil10 I think unless you've had or know people who have had fertility problems or babyloss most people are blissfully naieve that once they get those 2 lines it's all plain sailing from there. It's just people like us that have our eyes wide open to just how common things going wrong can be. I remember with DS despite it taking about a year to fall pregnant I was blissfully unaware of how easily it could be to lose a pregnancy. I had quite a high risk pregnancy and the docs kept trying to prepare me that I may lose him and I kept telling them to 'chill' and stop worrying so much all would be fine 🙈😂 I decided because it took so long to get pregnant that meant he was meant to stay regardless. I so wish I was that blissfully naieve again this time round!

@Minster2012 I started reading the pregnancy after loss book last night, it wasn't what I thought it would be like. I wanted something I could blitz I didn't realise it was to be read bit by bit. I'll stick with it tho, anything that can help as I'm still not entirely convinced with this one just due to the disappearance of all the symptoms. There is not one part of me that feels pregnant anymore but still getting positive tests 🤔 Hoping sickness will come back with a vengeance at 6weeks to make me wish I'd enjoyed this week more 😂 And my simba baby vest arrived and DS asked if it was for him and I said no it would be far too wee for you so he said "Ah, I know, it's for baby Emily when she comes out of your tummy isn't it!" He's only mentioned Robbie once more since that first time but Emily has been mentioned quite a few times. DH keeps saying maybe he's right and it is a girl this time and that's why the symptoms are so different

No covid which is good 🥳 so most likely 'just' a chest infection, who knew the day I'd be celebrating just having a chest infection 😂 peak flows still down but better than yesterday so I'll wait it out one more day before deciding if I need to make a docs appointment.

My parents have gone, they've got a flat about an hour away. Lovely to see them but forgot how uptight my dad is...constantly sort of telling the 2 year old off for stuff that isn't important...! Peace and quiet now until a family party next weekend

@DKDK123 that's great on no Covid, we are similar, DS got a raking cough but full of snot too, so we are hoping it doesn't develop to anything. I've only read the first bit so far, and the breathing in the week up to anxious parts. It does say about staying away from the internet & forums though...that's not going so well 🤣

@Franklydear do you think you might go to the doctor to mention your irregular periods now?

@Minster2012 yes, I'll have to, they are ridiculous,aren't they, 3 days on full bleed change pad every 4 hours, the one before 5 days of intermittent spotting, and others everything in between....
Petrol? People here are crazy, not only every station running out but huge traffic problems created by queieng for miles, crazy....

Petrol stations here are mental too, just about every one I passed had a sign saying they'd ran out and I genuinely needed fuel and was worried I'd run out while driving round looking for one. Finally found one but they've set a £30 cap. The world has gone mad 🙄

Good luck @larrythelizard I don't know about you but I feel like I've been arrested for child neglect and under questioning when you have to explain child injuries 🙈 my DD was the first child in her nursery to have to go to a&e through injuring herself in nursery in the 13 years they've been open 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was met by the manager and her keyworker in a&e in tears 😆 annoying on the money, can you keep it put it to one side and wait until they realise?

Keep going @DKDK123 💪🏼 love how we and @minster2012 are all about the same stage in the book too! I have another scan that week too. The relief of the first scans is now wearing off 😬
