It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

@feliznavidad2 that's great news! It wasn't till I saw a specialist endo consultant that I got my extensive surgery so I hope they can sort you out!

@paintfairy my house was built in 1980 and a middle aged woman bought it and lived there until she had to go into a nursing home. So the decor is "middle aged woman in 1980s chic". The house has a green kitchen, green carpets throughout, green curtains and disgusting patterned wallpaper. I'll be happy to see the end of the 40 shades of green.

@Bundaberg84 I'm so sorry to hear about AF. Some months I've been convinced that I've had symptoms too and was really mad and confused when AF arrived. I just don't symptom spot now because it drives me mad.

Women, I tried to watch MAFS but the people on it are just unbearable. I only lasted 15mins!

Hope diabetes test is ok @Justanothercyster - I'd listen to what they say about baby's size but take it with a pinch of salt, they thought DS might be 11lb but he was 9lb so big but in the normal boundaries. Same for a friend of mine but the other way round, they though her son was going to be small, he was 7lb.

@DKDK123 hang in there love. Symptoms come and go and it's not a prediction of simba sticks or not. Just enjoy the day of feeling slightly better...it'll all come back!

I caught up at home thought and ate a home made bolognaise with a little more pasta and a bag of veg for nutrition, half an orange and sat in bed eating cheese and ham on toast which tasted amazing 🤣🤣 hopefully day 2 will be a bit better?

@Somatronic sounds like one my friend bought years ago. Its beautiful now. They had the terrible green kitchen for years. But the rest I never saw bad. I've seen photos though and that was the same. Green carpets, everything! I agree about the people on MAFS, its not awful but they could have picked better people for sure!
@Kirky658 yeah that would have pissed me off.

Well- I thought it was CD1. But AF has now vanished. 🤣 Ideally it needs to be CD1 as we go away Thursday so I was pleased it was coming early. Felt a bit crampy yesterday (you know when it's really slight?) and guessed it was coming. Then I was awake at 3am and had proper cramps on my right hand side. Not the worst ever but definite AF uncomfortable ones. Couldn't be arsed to move and didn't feel wet. This morning there was a tiny bit when I wiped but not what I was expecting. And now nothing? Bloody get on with it! I've read when this has happened to others though but it's typical it happens when you want it to hurry up!

@Minster2012 house admin how joyful 😄 we need to choose a new carpet today for hall, stairs and landing. It's literally a few inches short after our house extension (moved a wall and it's only 18 months old 🤦🏼‍♀️) I want a similar colour, DH wants a crap colour so I think I'll go alone 😆

@becarefuloutthere I hope so hunny, he’s been told he’s got a cyst on his left side but it’s never caused pain before and he said it feels more towards the back? I’m wondering maybe varicole or something 🤔 who knows but thank you lovely 😘
@larrythelizard I’m actually happy with how they’ve treated him a lot more better than what I first received when I was trying to get someone to listen to me with my irregular AF! I’ll let you guys know how I get on Friday with him as I’m sure they’ll be able to tell him something there & wait for the report

On a slightly happier note with me I had my repeat transvag (cue the hello darkness my old friend song) and pelvic ultrasound on last Tuesday and they have said it’s normal! So the metformin is doing the trick, my ovarian volume has now decreased into normal numbers so it’s a little bit more positive I guess? So once we know where we stand with DH means we will have full insight for October’s follow up :) I’ve actually been buying wedding favours for my happily ever after Receiption in November which I’m so scared about being postponed but fingers and toes crossed it goes ahead, even if face mask and covid passports have to be involved! Going for personalised gift wrapped cookies & miniature vodka shots with those tags but mines the one where it says Alcohol because no love story stated with a salad 🤣

@kaylsd that's great news about the scan! I'm glad the metformin is working for you. I find having PCOS so confusing. At my hycosy I asked the gynae about PCOS and she said that there is no sign of it on the scan (same as you - presumably the metformin is working) so why do I still have symptoms? Acne, hair issues, don't seem to be ovulating...makes no sense!

@bez91 I grew up not that far from there too I'm 35 and went to the school close to there!

This is something to celebrate so you should! a friend of mine told me after I had my loss that i have to look forward to getting pregnant again one day otherwise I'm just robbing myself of future joy, and that no amount of caution or rationalisation would prevent the sadness of a future loss.

how's the schedule going @Somatronic ? - this might be a tad personal, so feel free to ignore, but does your OH have any issue with, erm...being up for the task with such prescribed timing? I find that my OH can't even cope if he know's I'm in my peak fertility window. He says it's too much pressure and he totally gets in his head about it.

@Juno231 🤣🤣🤣😂 well obviously yes in the sense of we've had unprotected sex. I would say no in the sense of - pigs might fly. My RHR has dropped. But still nothing? Or, nothing I would call AF anyhow. I think it's just trying to piss me off. Unless I've had a funny month (the 2 prior I was on the drugs) and my body is just having a light one?

So do some of you when ovulating sometimes have pains and sometimes not? I feel like for the last 3/4 cycles I haven't had ovulation pains but I did used to get them, had all other signs of ov, really strong opks, a lot of ewcm, but no pains!

Also another update on OH, he was starting to doubt that the attack was unprovoked, he can't remember anything but kept saying "I must've done something to piss him off, surely he hasn't done it for no reason" and like I said I was completely sober and witnessed it all so I kept telling him, anyway OH's friends friend was there we've spoken to him and he said exactly the same as me, it was completely unprovoked and seconds before he had his arm round OH, friends friend however did say this guy was hanging around for a while and staring at me constantly, and he also disclosed to friends friend where he was from which is obviously a massive help!! OH is being rang on Thursday to give a statement which will probs be vague as he doesn't remember anything then I think me and any other witnesses will give statements, just want it behind us now and to move on from it!

@whatwonder no worries at all. Today is the last day of the schedule though I think inoculated on Friday so she said today was just to make sure we're covered.

Tbh he has struggled a bit with that. He had a circumcision carried out (badly) when he was a child so it definitely affects the sensitivity. He pops a viagra every now and then and that solves the problem.

Most importantly I've looked up the mat policy. I get enhanced pay if I've been there a year at EDD-15 weeks. So I've counted back 25 weeks from my 12 month anniversary - do you all agree with that as a calculation? Not to say we'll wait for that but I like to know what's what!

I am finding difficult to do everything at the moment, with the 5.30 starts and work hours not changed yet, it’s a long day, I should have made it look like I didn’t want my hours changed and then he would do it faster, but he has problems, staff leaving in spades, it’s a mystery why...
Fun fact for @Minster2012 since president of the fan club, dh is making me coffee and ds hot milk before he leaves in the morning, and getting ds up, so I hit the ground running and have a few extra minutes
