It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

Been on Instagram and seen all the good news! So had ro pop on and congratulate u buys @bez91 @Minster2012 @DKDK123 @Lexber (is that everyone?) September is dedo a good month. Last Sept was when I got my bfp 😁 taking bets now for babies being born on my Ds 1st birthday lol 13th May.

It's been a bit manic, apologies. Work is actually killing me but I'm going in for diabetes test at the hospital tomorrow as baby is BIG. Have another growth scan beginning of oct and if baby is still big then they'll induce me 🎉

No real news here. Cannot decide if it is heavy spotting or a light period...usually my periods are very heavy and sore but I am sure that is coming so I shouldn't complain about the lack of cramps. Got my Paracetamol in my bag ready though!

@Juno231 I had booking appointment over the phone (not with “my” midwife) then bloods by a health care assistant (just throw them under the bus eh?) then scan by sonographer and bloods by phlebotomist and 16 week over the phone again with different midwife to booking and still not “mine”. That is it. And actually my 28 week appointment won’t even be with “my” midwife as I am rhesus negative and baby is rhesus positive so I have to have anti D jab which they now only do at the hospital.

Interesting that your service is more or less normal @Minster2012, I’m in North Norfolk. Hopefully you will get to have all face to face appointments this time too.

Saw @Minster2012's pic on IG so have tried to skim read just to catch up but wow wow wow, I know all of you are in similar positions with not wanting to get too excited but I am so pleased for you all.

Intro from me...
A grad that joined way back when the bus was in single figures, think it was bus 2 or 3, after a MMC in Feb 2020. Had already been ttc for 6 months. Got a BFP again 8 months later and not so little Lennie is already 6 weeks old so although I'm not a regular contributor I try to keep up as best I can.

@bez91 did you say you're from the East Midlands? I live that way too; I actually don't know if I'm East or West Midlands though (not originally from here hence the confusion)

@Haiyaa that sounds very similar to my experience. I had a phone booking appointment with a random midwife, 12 week scan with a sonographer, booking bloods with a different midwife, 16 week phone appointment with someone else I'd never heard of, 20 week scan with another sonographer and then I had a 21 week appointment in person with a midwife that didn't match the name that on my appointment invitation. I don't think I'll ever see the same person twice! 😅

@Minster2012 definitely best to stay away from BBT now! I stopped as soon as I saw a positive and turned off my Fitbit heart rate tracking too. After I turned the heart rate tracking back on months later I've found it's the exact same on average per month as it was before pregnancy so it really doesn't indicate anything for some people... just incase anyone is checking it and stressing.

@Somatronic so yours is avacado and my house is blue! That's great on recommendations though, can't bloody get a builder round here (that's even IF we knew what we were doing with the place) the architects first ideas aren't quite on the mark 😬

If so (which I highly suspect) then that's all you need to do as a mother...they survive the day and you survive the day. Boom. @Juno231 it's always hard when there's a run of bfps on the bus, not that you're not thrilled for them but when they all come at once it does feel like it's happening for everyone but you. @lexber it's good that your boss is being supportive. I also told my boss today but she knows the history after I had to take time off after the last one so it was more a just to let you know incase I need to take time off if I crumble again if we lose this one so I don't need to explain it on the phone 🙈 She was lovely tho and has told me to take it easy, skip all staff meetings this week to go straight home from work and rest to try make this one be the one that stays. So sweet of her.

@Catherinettc the teething days can be brutal just keep reminding yourself it will pass!

After the past 2 days of not feeling alive till after 5pm, I've well today feeling fine. Which may be a random day of nausea respite to treasure or may be a sign that the hormones are decreasing. No other symptoms 100% zero pregnancy feeling compared to yesterday when I was very much feeling it. Still 2 lines there on tests, no lighter no darker which was stupid as you can't really tell much from tests taken only 24hrs apart anyways 🤦‍♀️. I can't decide if my head wants to be practical and prepare for the worst so it's not so bad when it happens or whether to say screw you universe I'm keeping this one and buy a babygrow as a big middle finger to the world ......sitting with one in my basket just now with Simba on it 😂 but haven't been able to press buy.

I'm avoiding any MAFS references as I'm sooooo behind! Just in the first dinner sorry episode- Nikita- wow. Just wow.

Telling the universe that I'M taking charge this time and ordered the vest off etsy......3am and can't sleep purchase! I know people say its bad luck to buy baby stuff before the 1st scan but it's not like I've had any luck in the past without buying anything so there's nothing to lose 😂 (plus my best friend and SIL are both due next month so if it doesn't work out it can always be passed on and not go to waste, but it WILL work out, I'm keeping this one!)

@minster2012 haha yes she did survive. I've bitten DH's head off this morning as I'm knackered, she's had me up every hour since 2. He's meant to get up and walk the dog and again has decided to stay in bed.. I'm pissed off because we've got an appt today so I don't have the time

AF arrived with a vengeance. Really bad cramps and feeling sick which is unusual. 1 day late, I'm glad I didn't test again yesterday.
Feeling down, not even due to the fact that I am not pregnant - didn't expect it to happen so fast with only one tube left - but that I don't seem to be able to trust my body.
Although I tested at 10dpo in the evening with a cheapie and there was a really really faint line on it, maybe something really did happen, but probably not.
Ah well.

@Minster2012 I've been abit quiet with the TTC as I've been worrying about DH! He's been experiencing on n off pain now in his balls TMI so the doctors are sending him to Leeds Friday for a urgent ultrasound to look into things if there's anything a miss physically so hopefully we will get some more answers by the end of the week 🥺🤞🏻❤️

How much as September been a beautiful month for the bus passengers so far, hoping and praying each one is a sticky baby for you all! Can I sit on your guys seats for good luck for the next upcoming bus rides instead? 🤣
