It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

@Minster2012 ahh 🎉 so pleased you've got another BFP. I'm crossing my fingers for you that this is the one! I know from having the chemicals how hard it is to keep positive when things haven't gone well before but it's brilliant that you've managed to catch again not too long after your periods came back! What a nice start to the week here 🙌

I know from previous experience how tough it is for you ladies seeing positive news for others when it's not happening for you yet so just want to say to you all keep strong. It will be you soon!

@larrythelizard hope your new employer gets back to you and sorts out your laptop and everything else needed for the new job! When I joined my current company I turned up on my first day to find my line manager had just started 2 weeks paternity leave. He knew when it was happening too as it was a planned C section 😅 you'd think he'd have warned me he wouldn't be there? A head from another team was hovering over me for my first few days scratching his head making guesses about what I should be working on. Chaos!

@larrythelizard if they are mortified & your laptop is on the way then clearly it's their mistake and have yourself another silent witness & a comfy chair until the boss calls!

@Bundaberg84 I'm sorry for the bfn, hoping this luck continues to rub off on the rest of the bus, you may not be bonkers but our body's are f*ck boys that just mess with us. That said my SIL didn't get lines (and still faint even then) until after af was die with both her current & last pregnancy

I'm also in the never had a BFP club and it does make you feel as though it will never ever happen, but we'll persevere and hopefully we'll get there in the end.

First day back at work after a blissful week off. I decided to embrace the Swedes take on saunas @Juno231 and it was bloming lovely - thank you!! Although energy and motivation levels to apply self at work are at a laughable low 🤦‍♀️

Scan is on 29/09, I’m currently 18 and a half weeks. It has flown by @Juno231 and @Minster2012

@Minster2012 it does get better but I think when you’ve experienced a loss it isn’t such a carefree experience. With DD I didn’t really worry between scans and any cramps/twinges were just one of those things, but now it’s always just there in the back of your mind. I think it’s pretty normal, other ladies further along might be able to say if it gets better once you can feel regular movements etc - I think that will help a lot. Just getting the odd bubble/flutter is not quite so reassuring 😂 I’m in no man’s land at the moment - still not actually seen a midwife and despite initially saying I could have my 16 week appointment face to face so I could listen to the heartbeat it ended up over the phone - and was completely pointless. I won’t see a midwife until 28 weeks, and find it pretty ridiculous. People complain about GP appointments but this is definitely worse!

Anyway sorry for the rant added on to the end 😂

@Juno231 yes they were, the consultant asked me what I was taking (Proceive TTC) she said to carry on with them and/or they do ones correlating to trimester which she said she rates

@Vil10 yes my temp was taking a huge nose dive towards cover line so I assumed as my expected LP was a day behind the dates on the chart that it was following an exact AF dive, I've put my chart but I stopped temping after that on sat morning as I didn't want to wake up at a certain time & temp for no reason on holiday & I had been drinking anyway & would on Saturday night so thought it was probably skewed 🤷🏼‍♀️. I thought there might be something up yesterday I felt crap then my wine didn't taste nice...like I was thinking "I don't want to drink that" which is of course BIZARRE for me 🤣😱

I finally got a nice builder to come and look at my house! He comes recommended by a friend and appears not to be a cowboy or a robber which is amazing! Hopefully his quote isn't bananas. No baby this year but we may get a nice house by Christmas, and I can step out of the 1980s after 2 long years surrounded by avocado coloured everything!

@Bundaberg84 ooh spa weekend sounds bliss, hope you enjoyed!

@Minster2012 @bez91 the spa weekend was incredibly nice! We had a spa suite with our own sauna and steam bath in the bathroom! And a heated plunge pool just for us. The food was also absolutely delicious. It's a brand new hotel, 2h drive from us.

Also filing that away @bez91, I've stopped taking all supplements and need to get back on the proceive (not least because of the price of it!)

It's sort of a new company but sort of not so lots of new starters @Silver31 but yes awkward new person stuff for a while, I hate being asked if I have any questions for people as it takes me ages to think through stuff!

Hey @Silver31 im ok, had to tell my boss today due to feeling so ill nauseous wise. Sat at my desk nibbling plain pasta - Altho I've managed to eat my tea and made sure there was plenty of veg. Gone of chocolate completely WTF?!? We had a positive Covid case at work after a big Social last Thursday- thankfully I wasn't around them but he's told me if I want to work from home I can as and when now (should be in office 2/3 days a week) as it's different circumstances for me and Altho double jabber thankfully he doesn't want me feeling at risk or if I just feel soo shit too lol. Absolutely exhausted all the time hence being a bit quiet. But generally good - still worried and carrying that bloody tampon around with me 🤣🤣
