It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

@minster2012 @bez91 I'm not impressed let me tell you!!! Asking around it's very common for endo ladies' periods to return almost straight away after pregnancy 🙄 I was worried as my post pregnancy bleeding had been off and on and suddenly went so heavy at almost 4 weeks pp, rang the maternity unit and was advised to keep an eye on it but likely my period, joy...

I think DH is getting excited that my 6 week check is round the corner, I'm like mate I'm so exhausted you'd have to do me while I'm asleep 😂😂😂

@Kirky658 at least there's no stitches down below so any action should be easier 😅 I've watched too many maternity TV shows and now convinced I'm in for a wrecking during birth haha my mum said she was cut with both babies too so it's inevitable. That's a shame your periods are back already you always think of the absence of those as another perk of breast feeding.

@Minster2012 saw your pit stop on Instagram. Poor little guy but poor you too having to clean it 😂 hope he's feeling better soon. I used to feel car sick a lot when I was little and on the Scottish country roads it was like a rollercoaster at times. My parents lucked out and I was never actually sick in the car, so they say.

On your earlier post, yeah it's a boy for me! We were a bit surprised as the 12 week scan nub and skull theory pointed towards girl and that's what everyone guessed. I wouldn't bother guessing anyone else's now.

@whatwonder im not encouraging any drinking of grapefruit juice as the month I came off it was the month I conceived! Put myself through that torture for nothing haha I did like the pomegranate juice after ovulation though. Not so much the price tag!

@2020mission well boys are fab! Biased! And yeah bless him I get car sick too tbh and I wasn't feeling great & by the end of the journey (after a detour due to a landslide) even DH was like "I feel awful" as it was hot muggy & so bumpy windy roads. You've got it all to come

Oh and now at the seaside, and we are staying at MIL's cottage, then family rented one huge chapel split into 3 apartments so mil/FIL in one. then SIL/BIL1 with DSx2 in another and BIL & SIL2 with DS x2 in the other and another BIL & SIL 3 in another rented place around the corner (and their puppy)

Hey all, tried to catch up but between sleeping and work it's been a struggle!!

At another festival this weekend and I still have my tampons.. I feel like if I don't I will need them?!?

We have brought the eldest with us so are in the big tent with the camper parked next to us and im laid awake waiting for the wind to blow it off us.. seriously anxious as hell it's going to blow up and off is! Been laid awake an hour so far, plus it sounds like a few other very drunk Campers are having a great time nearby...

5wk today (feels weird saying that, and still so early!) so bloated my jeans are digging in. Nausea waves on/off and exhausted all the time. Feel like I'm avoiding people so no one guesses yet! It hasn't sunk in yet, and I think it won't for a while until I'm further on and feel safe!

DH is going away this weekend with FIL and BIL to the golf PGA tour thing, he actually doesn't like golf a lot but they do it every year. Ex military FIL ETA is 7am 🤦🏼‍♀️ he's very regimented about times which we take the piss out him for so we're all up and ready super early! Hope DS stayed dry!

TMI Ladies who've had progesterone, like seriously is there any point in the day where it doesn't leak out of you 🙄 we haven't 🍆 for a couple of weeks. I just want to wait until I have a scan to make sure no issues but the thought of it with the progesterone 🤦🏼‍♀️

@bez91 in the theme of TMI, you could always pop it up your bum instead… 🤭

@bez91 we also haven't 🍆 since too - partially because I'm too exhausted and it's really last thing I want to do (I'm usually a bit of a nympho) but also I'm anxious about it in case anything went wrong - I think I'd blame myself which sounds ridiculous I know!

@bez91 I like the in laws yes, but usually in smaller doses 😂we go home Monday afternoon. On the progesterone I only tended to leak a bit overnight & in the morning, and wire old knickers at night & a thin pad during the day. How much mg are you on? I was on 3 x200mg per night & didn't get much leakage, I think I absorbed most!! But yes as others have said up the number is apparently less messy 😬😆Google the brand you are using, mine said "vaginal pessaries" on them but Google showed it didn't matter. What do doctors know?? (We've established this)

Well unsurprisingly a wet night for DS in his night time "I don't want a nappy" despite getting him up twice for wees. So yeyyyy for holiday washing after the car sick yesterday and now sheets in the wash I think this might be a theme this weekend 🤦🏼‍♀️

@feliznavidad2 I was being so hard on myself at the time because the man even though he was being friendly with OH he just looked strange, he was just staring at me the whole time and I thought it was weird but I never thought he'd do what he did, but I'm learning now that I couldn't have done anything more than what I did x

I'm back properly now girls and will try and catch-up good and proper! Have I missed any ivf news??

I had a panic melt down yesterday, took the dogs out at 6am and a man came from nowhere behind me just commenting in the dogs and saying he'd just go in from a night out and then said "I still need to get home to Salford", on Thursday we found out that the man who hit OH was from Salford, so my heart was already in my mouth when he came from nowhere, I kinda don't trust anyone at the minute, then my mind went into over drive and I was thinking "has the man who punched OH sent his friend to make sure we aren't going to the police, they know we have dogs now", my friend is a police woman in my town so I asked her whilst I was at work and OH at his appointment if she could check on the house, once I'd calmed down I realised how ridiculous I must've sounded!

Anyway OH doesn't need surgery thank god!! His fractures and breaks are healing nicely and majority of the swelling has gone down!! Just bad bruising really and getting past it mentally! He's been told he won't be able to do kick boxing or boxing again, which is a massive thing for him but understands it's for good reasons, they've told him another blow to the head even just heading a ball could be really fatal, and he understands, physically he's healing we both just need some time to recover mentally! I have such a good support system though in you girls, my mum and dad have been amazing, our friends, the only thing is his own mum doesn't know, she's away on holiday with her cousins and it's the first break away she's had since OH's stepdad had his leg amputated last year, she's been through so much and OH and his stepdad decided it was best letting her enjoy her holiday then telling her when she's back, I said she'll be really angry they haven't told her but I understand they're reasonings!! Anyway, I'll keep you all updated on him and the police case! Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday❤️

@Vil10 you poor thing. You've both been through something really traumatic so these anxieties are completely understandable. My husband was attacked by two men years ago and he came through it. He doesn't love being in crowded situations now, but other than that he's OK. I'm sure your husband will come through it OK, despite the changes he'll have to make in his lifestyle, but it's going to take you both some time. His poor mum! I understand their choice not to tell her, and at least she'll be seeing him when he's in better shape than he was when it happened.

So as predicted we hit the wall on the sex schedule last night. DH couldn't manage 2 in one day (and he was pissed last night tbf) so we had to postpone til today. He is talking about a union for harassed penises this morning 😏

@Vil10 seek reassurance whenever you need it, nothing absurd about it, glad DH is healing nicely, on his mum, yep she'll be mad, but she would have also enjoyed her break, if in her shoes, I knew I would be back immediately, she'll have plenty of time to make a fuss
Ds on his first orchestra rehearsal, we had to rush this morning, we were busy for too long 🙈 before getting up

@Vil10 don't blame yourself for what happened. The only person to blame is the man who attacked your OH. There's no way you could've known ❤️ as @Franklydear said seek reassurance when you need it, you've both been through a lot ❤️

The Maldives honeymoon looks amazing! I would be disappointed to be in the Lakes when others are in the Maldives and Mexico! Cannot wait to see the rest of the episodes this week. I am with you on loving watching other people's drama but I am all about my life having no drama.

@Vil10 Glad to hear your OH doesn't need surgery. I hope he has a quick recovery. But you are right I am sure a physical recovery and a mental recovery are two different things and both will take some time.

So my update is that I feel like I am all over the place at the minute. This is my first proper cycle after the miscarriage as my previous one was anovulatory. Everyone says you are super fertile after a miscarriage so I am just so desperate to get good news. My body doesn't follow all the normal fertility rules and it took us over a year to get pregnant before we lost it, so my practical side is saying I won't be pregnant and that it is ok. I just feel such a longing to have a baby. I keep POAS (which is not like me as usually I wait for my period) although I am only 10DPO. I saw a vvvfl on a cheapie this morning but I am pretty sure it was an indent as a frer was as white as snow. I know I shouldn't test as it isn't helping. I am also having weird sharp pains on my lower abdomen. So who knows if my period is on the way or not. The joys of TTC I suppose!

@Bea14 yes, you shouldn’t test, I say that to me as much as to you, it also took us a year to get pregnant only to lose it, and that was 10 months ago, I also got the you’ll catch soon after, but alas here we are wondering if it’ll ever happen

@bez91 I'll confess, I can't cope with early mornings, so being awake at that time on a Saturday sounds like hell!! I am indeed! Usually only at night though, like a day or two before AF I feel like I'm on fire at nights 😂 I'm fairly certain I'm alone in this PMT symptom though as my body is ridiculous 😂 although I'm still on fire right now which is unusual for me but I'm sure it's just my body's chaotic way of keeping me guessing 😂
