It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

@Vil10 I have thoughts like that and realise how ridiculous i am. Unless they have paid private detectives and even then its pretty unlikely. But that's how my brain works. 🤣

@Somatronic I think that's what my OH will be like, I don't think I'll go to a festival again either, I used to love them too so it's a shame really! Glad your DH recovered from it, there really are twats in this world!! That's what I thought, we know if we told her at the start she'd be on the first plane home, hopefully by the time she sees him he will be almost healed! Thankyou for your kind words x

@Franklydear definitely that's what we said, she's a worrier so she'd have been home ASAP, she's been texting me telling me what a lovely time she's having too and we'd just hate to ruin that! How was the rehearsal for DS?

@bez91 he is a bit gutted but not as much as I thought he would he! He's done it for years now, he's won all the comps he can, he's been champion for 7 years in a row, he's done it all so I think he's happy to leave it at that, I'm proud of him for seeing it like that, id be a mess😂

Rehearsal a success, we are going to try to see if he can manage two lesson, the orchestra and then just violins, or we leave it at the orchestra only, We’re going to the movies and tomorrow quiet day at home

@Vil10 still waiting for exchange which we're hoping will be early next week so completion likely w/c 27th September now. Can't wait!

@Bea14 this is why we cling together, so many tough journeys we know it so hard and I never realised that about some of the couples going to Maldives vs lakes 😂🤣🤔bit harsh (however was that franky who lived in Dubai so ha ha!) I'm on my 4th cycle after miscarriage, first 2 anovulationary too, including a 24 day then last one was 38 day after the 24 so if I go by the one with ovulation last cycle then I'm due on Tuesday I think, 10dpo today

@becarefuloutthere I'm being melodramatic it's actually fine. We have to go again tomorrow and then again on Tuesday and then we're done. I feel bad for DH it's too much for him at his age (he's 10 years older than me) but we're nearly there now. For this month.

@Somatronic two more sessions is manageable then. I bet he's secretly loving it 😉 hope it does the trick! 🤞🏾 we're averaging once a month now 😂

@Somatronic I completely get that - you dont Realise how exhausting DTD every day is until you are TTC and suddenly at it every day t cover bases! We did 9 out of 10 days and we had a rest the day before peak as we were exhausted and the next day I went static and it felt so forced.. it was awful tbh! Thankfully we dtd again the next 2 days too just to be sure, and I caught.
The month before I think I missed my peak as it came early after several static circles and went right to peak so we hadn't dtd much.

@Minster2012 I remember the coming out of nappies well - I don't miss it. It's adorable when they refuse nappies but also stressful. Hope you are enjoying the time away, tampon in pocket...

@Franklydear that's great news about rehearsal- what did you watch at the movies?
I'd love a quiet day!! Life is so busy at the minute, after working through the 6 weeks we now have a crazy busy September of weekends away! 🤦🏽‍♀️ just as I'm exhausted and would love to just sleep...!!

@Vil10 that's such a shame that DH has to give up, but it's def not worth the risk and after all those years of great success he can retire with pride. Does he teach alongside competing? I used to kickbox and competed regular, few years ago now but loved it so understand his frustration bless him, he has def taken it well!

Crying here and not tears of joy, tears of I just can't do this again 😭 I don't even know how many dpo I am to even know if its faint because its way early or faint because we're heading for another chemical. Woke up at 4am throwing up and started to connect the dots as I was so tired over nothing yesterday that it took me till after dinner time just to get my daily walk in. Had major teenage like acne appear on my cheeks and thought about the major pmt the other day. Wanting to kill DH is nothing new, but snapping at my pupils is definitely not me I'm usually calm at work no matter what happens. So rooted thru the drawers and found a FR to confirm my suspicions and got those 2 lines that I've came to dread. There was only one test so can't even double check if it's just an evap tho with how I'm feeling and the fact it came up in the time frame and is pink I'm pretty sure it's not. There's that tiny bit that wants to cling at the hope that after the song getting stuck in my head and what my aunt said maybe this is the time it works. Then the logical part gives my head a wobble and knows I don't really believe in that stuff and if the past 8 times I've seen those 2 lines are anything to go by, that 2nd line will disappear in the next week or two. Fuck, fuck, fuck, I was finally getting to a happy place of acceptance in life why did I let it get fucked up!? 😭 Sorry ladies, early morning rant over.

It's so scary/anxious/overwhelming an it's ok to feel this way, I'm still not daring to dream yet and I've only had one early loss so I can't even begin to imagine you feel!

He agreed a nappy was right last night but still wet bed with slightly soggy pjs so it's wayyyyy too soon. Don't know why as he can go hours during the day without weeing and doesn't have accidents 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Minster2012 nighttime dryness is not controllable like daytime, it won’t happen until a certain hormone is produced, nothing to do with the child wanting unfortunately. We just used pull ups until they were always dry, about 5.
@Somatronic a little bit of adjustment won’t hurt anyone, keep going

@Minster2012 yes @Franklydear is right I've heard about this hormone before. We were unbelievably lucky with DD but that's well out the norm. The myth is that boys are harder than girls too, I wonder if that could be hormone related 🤔 keep going he'll get there 🤟🏼

@minster2012 my DS (4 in Oct) has been dry during the day for ages now, probably about a year but we still can't crack the nighttime yet despite him wanting to go nappyless and trying all the tricks in the book we still end up with a wet bed so keep going back to nappies and trying every few months when he asks. His nappies are still soaking in the morning so his body obviously just isn't ready yet for night, so frustrating tho when their minds are ready and they really want to do it.

@becarefuloutthere, DH is quiet, very quiet. The only thing he asked was 'is that an early line?' (as hes watched the progressions in the past from faint to darker back to faint). He took the last 2 losses particularly hard so I think like me he just doesn't want to process anything in his head yet. And yes unfortunately I've been sick in the past with some bfps and haven't been with others so it's not even a good indicator of a sticky bean. 😔 Haven't had the acne and major mood swings before so maybe my progesterone is higher this time as I've been more relaxed the past month or two 🤞

@bez91 coming to join you in the sandpit so I can stick my head under. We can be ostriches together!

@DKDK123, @Franklydear @bez91 yeah I read about the hormone, and I'm fine with it, we don't mind it's just he always says things like "I'm a big boy" and I think the double bed here didn't help (as in a very big boy bed) Last time we came we used the "big boy bed" as a way to be like "in the new house you will have a big boy bed" to get him into a toddler bed so maybe he thought that
