It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

I am only cd6 and having strange pullings and stuff, so I am not gonna track anything this month and leave it to fate, till the 25th

I'm 10dpo today. Had a tiny bit of spotting (implantation bleeding?) yesterday but AF is not due till the 8th and spotting would be very unusual for me. This was accompanied by cramps and a sore lower back. Took a test this morning and got a BFN. Think I'll leave it until the day after I'm due on if AF hasn't arrived yet!

So we got the news yesterday from the drs who have now prescribed DH some antibiotics for two week as they think it could be infection linked, he’s been going to the toilet more often and has odd occasional twinge in his left testicle which he has a cyst which they are saying is non related (he just put it down to strenuous job n exercise) the doctors can’t grasp how he’s gone from not too bad numbers but not the best in the space of 3 month when he’s had lifestyle changes took proxceed twice daily for 3 month and done the sperm sample testing run up by the book this time in comparison to the last one in may. He does the SA in house at the hospital as we live too far away so I don’t think that has any factors but we are just in limbo now what’s going off as we heavily believe now although I’m wonky with my cycles it may be MFI as well as my PCOS

Hubs results went from
Motality - 33% to 16%
Concentration 23mil to 9mil
Total volume - 63 million to 23 million
Morphology 3% to 1%

which as you can imagine was a big shock to us as we wasn’t expecting this at all, so me and hubs has had a big sit down chat about going forward the likelihood treatment pathway for us is most likely IVF ICSI which we only get one round on the NHS which we have said we are willing to pay for 2 rounds privately ourselves and then if the outcome doesn’t work in our favour just accept that it’s not meant to be for us and that’s fine also, we both had a little cry because he feels like he’s to blame although I’ve reassured him I’m just as fucked up as him with my non compliant ovaries which he laughed at, ah damn infertility sucks so much but he’s got to return back to the doctors in two week if the pain persists even if it’s once occasional if there’s something else causing this! He had his bits examined and they didn’t feel anything sinister other than his cyst which he’s had for years which hasn’t changed so yeah that’s my little update ladies! We don’t know where we will go from here as it’s his second repeat SA and this was requested from the clinic to decide on our treatment path in October, if they offer us ovulation induction first would I be in my rights to contest it as it may be ineffective for us? My friend had something similar if she had endo and pcos and he had poor motility and morphology and they just offered them straight to IVF 🤔

I’d like to say thank you for all your support litterally you guys make me feel like I’m not on my own with this although I feel like it in real life doesn’t help my in laws have a tendency to have tunnel vision about life how if you just try abit longer it just takes one ect and on days like yesterday it was the last things we wanted to hear 🥺

@Minster2012 DH says he's a bit better, took him for a covid test, just in case,
I am tempted to do a cheapie test due to the pulling sensation and bloated tummy, weird as fuck, but again that only proves I belong here

@kaylsd congrats on the job but boo on the SA results. Did they check white/round cell count at all as that would show if he had an infection in the background. Hopefully the antibiotics make a big difference but also bear in mind that if it went from good to bad results for no reason it can just as likely go from bad to good! So keep on boinking!

@Minster2012 hm with regards to the BTL it seems okay so far? They valued the flat on Friday which is a big hurdle so let's set if we pass that one but at least no one has asked us for an ews1 form so far! Is your village fete this weekend?

For all you lovely ladies (@DKDK123 and others - I forget!) thank you for your wise words. Sadly I already play solo multiple times a week so that's not provided any relief 😅. Funnily enough we had a big summer party at work this week and I had not one but two guys desperate to make a move on me so that's certainly boosted my confidence 🤣. It's why I was MIA yesterday as I was so hungover I stayed in bed until 7pm.. was out dancing until 2am the night before but we started at 5 so overall a long night. Pic attached of our rooftop terrace! We had a DJ booth, sushi on ice sculptures, multiple food stalls etc - such a good night!

@Juno231 thank you sweetheart his round cells were normal but last few week he's been having off n on discomfort on his left side which comes n goes and been needing toilet more so they are just going off symptoms with that! I spoke to one of my consultants I used to work under (nurse perks) who specialises in urology and says what's going off doesn't sound sinister it may just be a case of like you've said good to bad to good samples as they vary so much for many reasons and to take them as they come but just told me to tell him to push for review for infection purposes incase it's something that's reversible as he's had a physical examination which was normal and next step they said if it's persists would be a ultrasound to rule out any blockages xx

@Juno231 you are a vibrant beautiful smart sensible woman and he knows it, sometimes familiarity is the problem, specially in long marriages... But good on the party, girl!

@kaylsd the next SA could be completely different, you literally have 2 captures in time and it could move anywhere between them (or even past them) at any point. We've never had 2 similar ones and we've now had 5 done.

Ds best complaint today, why am I not feeling better yet? I took the medicine, twice! The little miracle liquid is calpol to keep the temperature at bay, and the slight headache, he might die of boredom though

@kaylsd serious rollercoaster vibes, but i think listen to @paintfairy in that it doesn't seem like an exact science? Sounds good that you are both on the same page anyway and can move forward together

It's CD16 here and I've got some some serious EWCM going a bit nuts, hoping this means ovulation is moving forwards from previous CD21 etc! Going to start tracking again after next AF.

Nothing yet, crampy and been waiting for AF. Had a couple of times I expected it but was EWCM. Not frank just in case and headed back to the camper and just had to leg it to the toilet to throw up 🤣🤣🤣 thankfully wasn't sick sick just a bit of retching and heaving 🤣🤣 behind the toilets in the woods as they were all occupied... Two minds about sharing this as it's easier for me to just bury my head in the sand for self preservation because a positive pregnancy test gives me more anxiety than a negative one but I got a positive test this morning... just waiting to start bleeding now 🙄
