It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

@larrythelizard I’m CD32, in theory due on yesterday but didn’t ov until CD23 so makes me only 9dpo and too early to test I think 🤔🤷‍♀️ I used to get it a bit when younger but this last 18 months only before a BFP 🙄 glad you're DH has got infertility sussed. Know everything blokes don't they 🤦🏼‍♀️ ahhh enjoy your spa day! Is that with DH? Love a spa day!

@Kirky658 meh no duvet day here, wizzing round for work doing bathroom surveys for replacement. 18 done so far so I'm going home! That's good, I hope the appointment isn't too far away and it comes through quickly 💕

Thanks @becarefuloutthere I remembered your OH improving his count. We were quite shocked as he is a non smoker, very rare drinker and healthy bmi 😬 not huge room for improvement but I will look into the proxeed thank you as he is on a bog standard multivitamin. Definitely room for some dietry improvements as we are both fond of a chocolate biscuit and could up the veg. Noting satsumas too thanks. He is going get back into running too as hasn't been great on exercise lately but probably was fitter back when the SA was done! How are you? I have been thinking of you and how ivf worked for you first go which is fabulous but then others having to try again and again. It feels like such a gamble!

@Kirky658 glad that you reached out to your health visitor, I hope they get help arranged quickly. Don't ever feel like a wuss for asking for help, that's far harder than just soldiering on with your head in the sand, you're a strong mama who's been thru a hard time, not a wuss!

@juno231 It can be hard when your partner doesn't feel like sex as you take it as a personal insult. I sulk and seethe in bed when mine isn't up for it but I try to remind myself that there is also times when he's up for it and I'm not and it's not to do with him I'm just knackered from work or have stuff on my mind which I'd probably the same for him at that moment in time. We went thru a spell a few years ago where DH never felt up for it and it made me feel like shit as I thought he just wasn't attracted to me any more. Turns out he had a thyroid problem can't remember if it was over or under but a few months after medication he was back on track again. Maybe worth broaching the subject with your OH that there could be a medical reason he doesn't feel up for it like thyroid problems or depression? Otherwise treat yourself to a nice new toy for solo play when he's not in the mood, soon make him jealous enough to want to join in and if he doesnt well you get to have fun regardless 😉

Well done on the job @kaylsd 🥳 Sorry to hear the news on the SA tho, that must be putting a bit of a downer on your job celebrations but if they've noticed a problem hopefully that means they have a way forward to improve it.

@Vil10 enjoy your weekend away! Hope your OH doesn't spend it worrying about his sperm, just remind him that you're a team and if the problem was at your end you know he wouldn't think any differently about you and you feel the same if there's a problem at his end. And remind him there are loads diagnosed with unexplained infertility so there may be a problem at neither end (at least not a problem thr nhs tests can pick up on). I get what you mean tho, you want a problem so there can be a solution but don't want a problem at the same time. It's such a headfuck.

@Franklydear hope DS had a good day at school and enjoyed the bus 🚌 He just seems to have flourished so much over the past year, he's doing amazing!

MIL is taking DS for a rare sleepover tomorrow so DH and I are getting to have a date night 🥳 Have booked a table for dinner tomorrow night but wanted to book a spa day on Sunday day morning for some massages and relaxing while we're child free. Nowhere has any spaces for 2 tomorrow morning, started off looking local then in desperation started searching further afield but literally nowhere within a 2hour drive away has spaces they're all fully booked. How dare everyone else want pampered when I have some last min child free time, cheek on them 😤 😂

I feel you @DKDK123 - we booked our child free sneaky break mid July and so little availability then!

@DKDK123 yes he did, fab day, even chose a decent lunch, and rolled off the bus like he did this everyday, he has indeed flourish over the last year, so much more independent and confident, when we had a impromptu child free evening, we got a takeaway and a movie, too knackered to go anywhere, but it was a week night, enjoy, whatever you may end up doing

@Manifestingbaby yes me that said about tomatoes for the win, and they were recommended by thinking andblinking's clinic & she got pregnant just before Ivf. I should be able to refer a friend for 20% Off. On the ivf the access scheme if you are under 40 is good "refund if you don't get a baby" around here that's ££7000/7500 I think.

I'm 38 now in the hand of the rmc and I'm hoping I have not left it to late ttc 😢😢😢😢😢 I also have a heart shape uterus so hoping that not what's stopping me got my nxt app on the 15th of September for the last of my results and will get progesterone on my nxt bfp💚

@Vil10 the acupuncture lady said to me that male factor is pretty easy to deal with. I had never thought about it, but she was like- now with ICSI it means that out of how many million sperm, they only need like 10 (or however many eggs you have) and the chances of not getting even that are pretty bloody low. You'd know before that point there was no point trying. So it's kind of easier if it's MF really! But yeah- with us they've not even found a reason. So it's not always that black and white anyway. The fact is- its shite whatever that reason.

@Babyghirl I'm so sorry for your losses, I experienced MC last month and found this group at that time. Welcome, getting to read and chat here helps a lot.

Earlier this afternoon I noticed a bit of blood, but it looked like old blood. I don't think this has ever happened to me before. Could it be AF? It's the first blood I've seen since MC a month ago. Only a bit earlier today then nothing.

Well @paintfairy if I can get pregnant and I'm the faultiest of the faulty then I think male factor is much easier to deal with surely?! There's got to be a lot of hope for the rest of you!! But yeah it's shite whoever it is. Whyever. Just plain shit. Oh and quite costly!

@hellointhere after my MC I literally just spotted for one day I thought not much of it, a bit later in the weeks & these ladies identified my one fat spotting was actually an AF so worth noting & thinking when it might relate to an OV for you?

@Babyghirl hey and sorry you've had such a rough journey to get here, hoping it won't be long. There's lots of us that have had losses, a few too, and a few ladies Under their rmc that are now pregnant from our bus so keep hope 😊😘A heart shaped uterus sounds to a tic but I guess does it make it more tricky?

They said it only affects later in pregnancy where I might need a Cs or prem birth but nothing about it being a problem otherways, when I was going through my 3rd loss the midwife doing the scan said you have a heart shape uterus and I looked at oh and said see you said I don't have a heart c now I have 2 lol.

Ohh goodness my typing is appalling! I meant the uterus is romantic @Babyghirl but that's great if it doesn't mean anything 🤞🏻

@Minster2012 thanks for the link. I may look into that scheme thank you but as it stands we are 90% sure we won't do ivf. I don't think I could bare to do it and it not work. Defeatist I know but that's just where I'm at for now at least.
