It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

Thank you lovely ladies! Went out for tea but got a text at 7 from the GPS for hub to contact them on his recent SA, got this awful pit of doom feeling with it as he was told 5 days when he had it done yet in less than 48 hours he has to contact them 🥺🤞🏻

I've been running round these last 2 days had so much on! Had fresh brows and lashes today and got a lovely facial too I feel amazing, just a little af finishing treat! We're off camping tomorrow and decided to go to neighbourhood weekender for the Sunday when we get home😂 I'm back at work on the Monday so I need to make sure I'm mega organised tomorrow for Monday morning!! So OH text me yesterday saying he has a feeling he will have low sperm count, said from the doctor the other week saying to me "you seem like a perfectly fertile woman", he just has a bad gut feeling it's him, and if it is we can explore avenues through his works health care which hopefully will speed up the process, but I just felt awful for him, I want to try and support him as much as possible, I don't want him to feel like it's his fault, I explained there's always routes we can take and things we can do

Good shout from @Vil10 there @Kirky658, you could get someone in to do a head/shoulder massage or something, I bet you need it after the trauma you've been through.

Lovely night away although brains of Britain DH refused to enter into conversations about what he could do to help his sperm ready for TTC again as soon as we can...apparently 'it's worked once, it'll work again'...we were having a 'nice' night so decided not to give him facts and figures on secondary infertility! He will take the supplements I bought though.

Spa now...what a tough day!

@larrythelizard it's next Thursday so not far off, I feel like it's come round quick really! It's weird, in a way I hope there is something then at least we know there's things we can do to help, because if there isn't anything wrong with either of us it's frustrating because what else can we do?? But then obviously I don't want there to be anything wrong! What a head fuck!!
Ohhh a spa! Jealous, hope you're having a lovely time! Also it's not just your DH who does that, sometimes when I try to talk to mine about it all and be serious he just can't do it, recently he's been a lot better but after we had a serious chat yesterday he turned it into a joke😂 suppose it makes light of the situation!!

@kaylsd sorry to read your update, hopefully you can get some advice on what happens next from the other ladies. And @vil10 it must be hard for your DH, I guess it's just a case of seeing what they say at your appointment, it's hard I know but nothing you can do now to change it. Think about all those people who've been told they are going for IVF then get pregnant right before ❤️

Absolutely get something booked in for when you feel ready @Kirky658, early motherhood is so hard on the shoulders/back as you're holding and feeding all the time.

@Vil10 I think it's because we have DS and DH is of the opinion that what will be will be and we're lucky enough to have a child already. And he's right really but I HAD A PLAN thanks!!

@kaylsd did he do it in the clinic? Any we did at home were bad, so that's a factor.
But- we've had a fair few now. And there's no consistency at all. Neither has anything changed. My last one for IUI was terrible. Yet the month before for it was the best one we've ever had! Go figure. So I wouldn't base it on just one......

#selfishpostalert 😬 sorry girls fell of the bus last week after some bad news from fertility appointment but see a bit of sperm talk so might be a good time to jump back in 🙈. Basically we have issues on both sides so ivf is the only thing they said will help.would have to go private as don't qualify. Was hoping they could give us some help as we really don't want to go down the ivf route 😭 we have some repeat tests but that's basically it. So has anyone any advice on how to improve sperm count? @becarefuloutthere and @Justanothercyster did you girls overcome this? Anyone who can hit me with supplement suggestions please do!

Hope you get help soon. Birth trauma is so hard because you have no time to deal with it properly, you are so busy being responsible for this tiny little helpless human when you just want someone to take care of you!

@Manifestingbaby I have a friend who swears by 6 walnuts a day. There'll be others who have way more experience though. Shit there's no help for you financially, it's such a big cost!

@Manifestingbaby heya hun, plenty of sperm suggestions that worked! Dh went from low sperm and bad shape etc to it being outstanding! He did the following over 5 months:
Stopped smoking (he was only smoking about 5 a day but still makes a difference)
No binge drinking, he had the odd drink here n there but never more than two in one sitting
Proxeed plus sachets twice a day
Ate satsumas/tangerines every day
Ate more veg with meals
Limited chocolate a bit too but not by loads as it is his vice!
Exercised more -running twice a week (he was never overweight tho, probably underweight!)
Ultimately I think it was the stopping smoking, proxeed plus, binge drinking n exercise that did it. Good luck!

Something weird happened at the acupuncture today. I'm 4dpo right. The therapist massaged a bit and took my pulse and then said - you're not on contraception right? I said no. Why? He said ah not to worry and continued with the therapy. I have no idea what that meant.
