It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? Definitely hoover @Minster2012 I chase flies with a hoover, imposters! I feel good today, not sicky or crampy wahoo. So either AF is hanging around up there ready and waiting to rumble or it might have been good cramps 🤔

@Silver31 @Vil10 @Minster2012 thanks ladies! I'm absolutely shattered and haven't even done much at work today 😅 dinner, bath, doggy cuddles and bed is my plan now. Dh has been the best though and cleaned the house and done the laundry 🥺 the little things do count!

@Minster2012 I wouldn't vacuum up a spider, too concerned it may survive and crawl back out of the hoover later! I always want to get it out of the house either with a spider catcher I have or my husbands work if he's around. I also don't like squishing them to kill them incase it's a pregnant spider and a flood of little spiders emerge. I've seen a video of that happening 😆

They apparently hate peppermint so I sometimes make a spray bottle of water with some peppermint oil and spray around windows or any other obvious areas they are likely to come in through. I usually only do that around autumn as they seem to always appear in September/October. In fact, that's now! Still feels like August to me with the warm sunny weather.

@Justanothercyster cleaning and laundry, what a guy! Mines will hang up washing but he wouldn't go near the machine to fully do laundry. As for cleaning, he'll clean or hoover surface areas but seems to not understand the concept of moving and cleaning or hoovering below furniture or objects so I actually feel better just doing it myself for those reasons 😅

Feel for you ladies with mismatched sex drives from your OHs. I'm quite fortunate that mines seems to want it about as often as I do so I'm never feeling disappointed. Thinking about it, I've actually realised I almost never initiate it... I did when TTC a lot but deep down it was for hitting the necessary dates! I think I just prefer him to come to me as I know a man really does have to be in the mood. It's much easier for us to go with it when not really in the mood. I also assumed most men couldn't go longer than a week without any action but I must be wrong. I suppose some guys maybe do their thing in private at times? Mines insists he never does that and hasn't for a long time 😂

Also still here but not been around v much recently. 4dpo and managed to DTD only once in fertile week, so not holding out much any hope

Back from hols tomorrow and getting my head back in the weight loss game. Ultrasound Monday to see why my menstrual cycle consists of 3/4 of the month spotting or bleeding. 😤

Haha @2020mission it's funny because I'm the more obsessively clean one, but dh is way more thorough with it than me! He gets all the nooks and crannies I don't bother with 😂
And men always say that but they can't help themselves 😐

@2020mission noooooo I hadn't thought of the baby spiders! My OH insists he doesn't do his in private and tbh I believe him as I can't imagine when he'd manage to fit it in as we are always together /he doesn't even lock the door when showering 😅

I quite like spiders. They're handy for killing flies and other shitty insects. I usually leave them be or if they're huge or in a particularly annoying spot I'll get DH to move them. When I was a child my grandmother taught me it was a sin to kill a spider because a spider helped hide St Felix from the Romans. Catholicism is a hard religion to shake so I still find myself breaking out in sweat when people talk about harming spiders.

@Somatronic I'm the same! Absolutely hate the things but can't get near them so dh moves them outside for me. My mum is very much more catholic than me (I was never confirmed) and always told me it was bad luck to kill them.

@Minster2012 feeling really well. Physically the only change to PMT I've had is sore boobs which doubled in size. Having had very humble b cups forever, I'm relishing the bouncing (albeit tender) pair I've got presently. Other than that very mild and spontaneous PMT symptoms I'd usually get.

@Justanothercyster your OH sounds a dream. Do you reckon he'd be up for coming to train mine up!

Hoovering spiders!?! Absolutely not, they'll only crawl back out when you're not looking and find another sneaky hidey hole. I just put them under a bowl until OH gets home to put them outside. Very grown up!

Ahh to self pleasure or not self pleasure is the question. Personally I'm not too fussed if OH does. He usually tries it on, if it's a no, off he trots to go relieve himself. Only reason I reckon he tells me is because we don't have locks on any of our doors and worries about me catching him mid flow 😂

So bad news on the old DTD front on OV day for me yesterday, DH couldn't muster enthusiasm for it having done it so much previously. I hope some of those are still lurking too waiting for an egg but I think a lot won't survive.

Creamy cm today so guessing it's happened just gotta wait on temp to confirm. Would be exciting to think I might be on track again after MC

@Somatronic I let spiders in the garden live unless they're a false widow.. in the house I leave them be unless they're somewhere annoying - eg we found one in bed this summer! And OH had seen it on his pillow at night

@Minster2012 I read that statistically the day before OV is the "best" for DTD. I googled because I'm in the same situation :)

@Juno231 yeah we did, in fact we did morning and night of the peak (his choice I said not that night but to leave it for yesterday but he was all for "going all out") now it seems he's gone all out 🤣🤪he backed himself too much 🙄but need FF to confirm over next few days but the sex over the weekend was for fun, there was not much time for saving sperm off the grass 😂

So I came to visit my parents solo this day last week for the weekend and I'm still here. In my absence DH has developed some kind of insane pain in his side and has been told by GP if it flares up again he has to go to A&E so I'd better do my wifely duty and go home. No idea why I stayed so long. My therapist says between my job and TTC and my crazy family I'm emotionally exhausted. I sure feel tired.

@becarefuloutthere that sounds like my BIL, I'm Def guessing it's either foxes or deer stalking or gotta be some other shooting thing to have magazines, BIL watches all the stuff, goes out most nights a week, fortunately my DH only likes it when it's a "trip away" and can't really imagine the fun of crawling around in the dark getting wet & cold night after night after night. When he is away stalking I always make sure to tell him how warm & snuggly I am!
