I have been trying to conceive my first child for the last two years.
I've suffered two miscarriages both at the 5/6 week mark. The first was Christmas day 2019 and the second was in July this year.
I've just finished ovulating, must be no more than 2dpo.
I know this is madness but I swear i'm pregnant. I just know.

And @ReggaetonLente - how did you know? I knew because a few hours after having sexy time, I suddenly felt really odd. It only lasted five minutes but I felt sick, dizzy and shaky out of nowhere.

When I worked out my dates of conception, those weird five minutes made sense, despite the whole thing having no basis in scientific fact.

I genuinely don't know how I knew. I got a positive OPK and 1.5 days later I was doing my usual gym/swim with my friend when I got really strong ovulation symptoms. My boobs and stomach were really swollen to the point that me and my friend (who sees me in a bathing suit almost every day) discussed how ovulation alters my body shape. 1-2 days later I posted on here that I believed I was pregnant. No idea why I thought it,I just did. Then on August 20th, I went on a train journey with my fella and experienced pain in my lower abdomen that went on for a few hours. I said to him "remember this conversation in a few weeks...I swear our baby just implanted and we're pregnant". And that's the only symptoms/experiences I've had since, except my breasts are like watermelons today, which is why I decided to test. Weird eh? x

Even though I felt sure I was pregnant around 2dpo, it came as a shock when the clear blue flashed "Pregnant 1-2" today. Thanks so much to all of you for getting me through my two week wait. You will never know what it has meant to me. Please God, this pregnancy develops as it should so that one day I can show my baby this thread and prove I knew my angel was coming before it was possible to know and also to show that the world is full of caring, positive people. My dog knew I was pregnant before I did. The two weeks leading up to my period he would just sit and constantly stare at me. Not a “I need a pee/food/toy/play/cuddle” stare just this intense stare. And would not leave my side. He knew!

With my last pregnancy I just need I was pregnant. Had no symptoms other than very vivid dreams. Love how our bodies just know.

This is amazing. Congratulations! I also tried for many years to fall pregnant and just 'knew' when I had that it had been successful, despite only being around ovulation and about 10 days before I could test. I wonder if experiencing infertility and pregnancy loss makes some of us more in tune with our bodies? The human body is an amazing thing!
