@Sparklingwine1 looks like ovulation to me, it could have been potentially the day before that big rise, and then a fallback like me, but tbh your other signs suggest it’s after that like the pains, and it won’t make a massive difference, tbe main thing is you know you’ve ovulated.

Also can I just say, I am so so happy to have ovulated on a CD starting with a ‘2’ (even if it is 29 😂) instead of 3 or 4! Earliest ovulation yet.

@Mrsspoon3 I’m glad you had a lovely hen do! I think it was a good call telling some of the girls, that way you can be safe and have a good time too! I’d put the lighter test down to the water definitely. Have you done another this morning? I’ve done one every day since Friday and it’s costing me a fortune but I like seeing the darker lines!

@SkeletonSkins 5/6DPO and early ovulation is exciting! You’re temperatures look really good, nice and high 🙌🏻

I know what you mean about testing early.. also if you do you’ve got longer to wait until 12 weeks! These 4 days have made me so anxious already

Thanks @HRP1990! 😊 I’m so relieved, I did another test this morning (was literally shaking when I did it) and line was much darker! The relief was incredible! Also made it past the day my period was due, which I never have before, so really happy about that. Will be super anxious (like everyone probably) until I can get a scan, but so happy all is well for now!!
So glad to hear your lines are getting darker! 😊 How have you been feeling? Im the same, spending a fortune on tests haha. I’m struggling not to test every day due to my anxiety after the chemicals, so think I might reduce to every other day for the next week rather than completely stopping. Then will try and reduce to once a week if all ok! Need to wean myself off haha. When do you think you’ll stop testing?

@SkeletonSkins that’s so good you ovulated earlier than normal! Really pleased for you.
Totally get you about the testing early, I really wanted to wait but couldn’t resist in the end, but it does cause a lot of anxiety waiting so it’s probably best if you can and have better self control than I do haha.

Hoping I can join this thread as I stumbled across it...a little bit about us and our journey...I'm 32 and my partner is 31 and we are going to start ttc baby#1 officially in September but the pull out game is very weak! I stopped taking Cerelle at the start of May and am currently CD71...absolutely no sign of AF... Was thinking of using OPKs but no idea how they work and if its even worth it... Also started to take conceive+ in hopes of moving things along, my GP won't see me until the 3 month mark which is August. Sprinkling lots of baby dust your way.

Hi @JoeMalon3y, welcome to the thread! Post pill cycles are a bloody nightmare aren’t they! I’ve taken conceive plus ovulation support which seems to have shorted my cycle, might be worth a go! This is a lovely thread and you’re more than welcome here.

@Mrsspoon3 soooo happy for you that your line is getting darker and you’re now post-period date. What DPO did you first test, if you don’t mind me asking?

@Mrsspoon3 that’s amazing, so glad you got past that milestone with a darker test! I’d like to get an early private one if I can as 12 weeks is a long old time to wait for one otherwise! I think I’m going to stop with the FRERs now as my 14DPO is as dark as the test line now.. I’ve got some CB weeks tests and I’d like to see the progression of 1-2-2-3 week so I think I’ll stop at those lol.

I feel okay! Abit tired, boobs hurt and a lot of gas (burping after a glass of water 😂)

Hovering over pregnancy forums but I’m not ready just yet. I’ve seen loads of people the same amount of weeks but I’m just unsure you know?

Yay so glad you've had darker lines and a lovely hen @Mrsspoon3 🥰 I used the cheap pregnancy sticks occasionally for a while and then last week I used my second clear blue weeks indicator and got a 3+ weeks after a line stealer on the cheapy. So they are now packed away unti after my early scan. People say put them down but i couldn't help myself either.

Thanks @SkeletonSkins! 😊 It’s hard to say 100% because I was a bit unsure when I ovulated, but I think it was 11dpo I first tested and got a positive.

@HRP1990 Thank you! 😊 Feels such a relief to have got past that milestone! I’m thinking of getting a private one too at maybe 6 or 7 weeks. When do you think you’ll get one? That’s so good your line has got so dark! I’ve got some of the ones that tell you the week too but haven’t done one yet. Going to try to wait until the weekend to do one!
Yeah I’ve not felt ready to join a pregnancy one yet. I was even super nervous to change my app Ive been using for tracking fertility over to the pregnancy one. I’m hoping I’ll feel more confident and relax at maybe 6 weeks.

@KayL1988 Thank you! 😊 That’s great you’re happy to pack the tests away now! How are you getting on, have you had many symptoms? When are you planning to get your scan?

Just curious have you told anyone yet @HRP1990 or @KayL1988, or are you waiting until the traditional 12 weeks?

I've had quite a few symptoms @Mrsspoon3 .. started just feeling stretching and thirst, then this week it's feeling sick and some foods really making me feel ill. Not actually been sick though!

So untraditionally we've told a few people. We told our parents because we were spending time with them and to be honest if anything happened we'd tell them and want their support through it all. I'm getting a scan this weekend when I should be 7 weeks. If it all looks okay then I'll probably tell my sisters before the end of the first trimester too.

Have you told family or just some friends?!? Xxx

@Mrsspoon3 I think I’m going to wait until the weekend/Monday as I’ll be 5 weeks so I assume I’ll see a 2/3 weeks (from conception?)

I think like Kay probably 7/8 weeks as I read a few threads that said if you go too early you might not see too much and not feel too reassured?

We haven’t told anyone yet, literally just you guys 😂 We’ve had to isolate the past 10 days so if I were to tell anyone I’d want it to be in person! I might we might tell one person each soon? It would be nice to have the support like Kay said x

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining. Me and hubby 34yo TTC #1.
This is our first month trying and I'm trying not to obsess about symptoms, tests, etc, but obviously very unsuccessfully. How can you not obsess over it?

At the moment, done three tests, all of them negative (DPO 8 and DPO 9). Tomorrow going to do another one with the first urine in the morning (DPO 10), however the tests I have have the hcg sensitivity set for 25ug/ml. Already bought the ones on Amazon that have the sensitivity set for 10ug/ml and they should arrive tomorrow.

Do you guys test every day and this early? Or shall I just chill and actually wait to see if I miss my period? All help appreciated xxx

@mory87 welcome to the group, you’re a couple of days ahead of me. I think you have to do whatever is best for you. Personally I know if I test early I’ll become an anxious mess every night thinking about the rest the next morning, and then not sleep. I don’t know why, I’m just a dick. I read a thing that said they worked hard to only see a positive test as seeing a negative one would be more of a blow than just getting a period, although I imagine both are a bit shit. I’m going to wait as long as I can and then probably impulsively do one. But if you’ll feel better testing daily then do it, everyone’s individual on this one I think.

I also know I’d struggle if I had an early chemical and saw a faint positive, I’d personally rather never know, again I know that’s different for different people.

@Aries491 I'm CD11, started DTD Saturday after flashing smiley on CB, expecting ovulation over the weekend. Had two goes with the PreSeed - can't say I'm a fan. Started small with 2g but think that's too much, going to reduce down to 1.5g - was all a bit too wet for me (sorry if TMI!!) and was running out a little as I'd feared. Hopefully will do the trick anyway as virtually no CM 🤞

Hey @Eli707 nice! Fingers crossed for you this month :-) I've not used that pre seed before but sounds rather messy if it's too wet! I had some ewcm the other day combined with cramps but haven't been tracking this month just taking it casually haha but using my apps as a rough guide 😅 still DTD most days (made sure I did when i saw ewcm) and got some time off work now which should make things easier! X

@KayL1988 We’re the same as you, we’ve told our parents as I was actually staying with my mum when I found out I was pregnant, and I tell her everything haha. Plus she’s a midwife so might know things! We also thought same as you that if anything happened we would tell them and want the support, so may as well tell them now.

@HRP1990 That’s good to know, there’s a place near me that says they do reassurance scans from 5 weeks so was quite tempted, but might wait until 7 weeks if that’s thought to be better!

Welcome to the group @mory87! In terms of testing, I always try my hardest not to test but have given in most months! I’d rather wait as I’ve had 2 chemicals and it was so horrible testing positive and getting excited only for it to turn negative, and it’s such an agonising wait finding out so early to see if things will be ok. But I often just do it on impulse because I’m dying to know. Especially if I’ve had symptoms I kind of want to find out if I’m not straight away so I don’t get my hopes up! It’s definitely a very individual thing what helps you get through the wait!

Soooo I'm 6/7dpo and stupidly tested.
There was the faintest of faint lines. It won't show up on camera, but is there without squinting.
Going to wait a few days and test again.

@Mrsspoon3 that’s so nice you told your parents! Totally agree with what Kay said that you’d want their support either way. How far along are you now? I’ve got a friends birthday coming up in a couple of weeks and it’s intimate.. so I’ll probably tell her so she can help me disguise the not drinking! She had kids already so she’ll be a great for advice etc.

@80sPadme Omg!! July is a lucky month for us all! I found that when I used one of the easy@home test strips it was soooo faint but on a FRER it was quite obvious? If you used an internet cheapy and you’re impatient try a FRER!? 🤞🤞

@HRP1990 I’m 4 weeks and 4 days I think! Are you around the same? I had to calculate from my ovulation date as ovulated so late if I calculate from my last period date it puts me at 6 weeks! Think the ovulation date is roughly right though.
Ah that’s nice you’ll tell your friend! It’s always good to have someone to help you get away with the not drinking and things!

Heyyy @Aries491! I’m good thank you, 6DPO, absolutely no signs of anything haha fairly sure I’ll be getting AF next week. Been in work today in person for the first time so that was nice, and I’m off work tomorrow so that’s doubly nice! I definitely think you’ve got the right idea and tracking just adds stress, unfortunately with my cycles being irregular it makes that approach more tricky but I would if I could!

I’m going to do my best to wait and see if my period comes but not sure how well I’ll last haha. Luckily the next few days are really busy so at least I’ll be distracted.

Oops sorry @HRP1990 I missed your post, I’m feeling good thank you so much for asking. Really happy that it seems like I have managed to ovulate and earlier than previously. Here’s my chart, I had ovulation pains on CD 30 so I agree with FF that I probably ovulated that day. I got really stressed about the CD 33 temp but apparently you can get that’s and it’s called a fallback, something to do with a hormonal surge. Fingers crossed it stays high!
