Breaking banjos, poking boobs & getting promoted πŸ™ŒπŸ»it’s TTC bus 44

Wow that last one was a quick one! The bus driver nearly missed the bus!🏎🚌

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

The price of your bus pass is an embarrassing story please, doesn’t have to go be TTC related but can you beat breaking a guy’s banjo in a BJ or whilst DTD?! πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys, but I need to carry on with it it, I’ve been lazy! #shamelessplug

@feliznavidad2 I know, he's a very lucky boy! I have endo too and had my most recent surgery last June. I would definitely seek advice from your gp especially if it's been so long since your last lap, mine came back within 2 years. I suppose the difficulty with endo is that if they'd done a decent job first time round it wouldn't have come back potentially. Xx

kaylsd · 16/07/2021 07:31

@feliznavidad2 I would speak to your GP hunny as you can be investigated to be seen if you ovulate via bloods and don't necessarily have to wait 12 month TTC if you've got health conditions such as endo for further insight I think it might be around the 6 month mark but I'm not hundred percent? I'm only going off my CCG though as they've allowed me to be referred to fertility clinic before 12 months as I have PCOS and confirmed I don't ovulate πŸ™ˆ

larrythelizard · 16/07/2021 07:53

I think it's what messed mine up @Somatronic but it's not doing the same for everyone.

Hope you didn't have to wait too long @paintfairy I'm also a guilty pleasure fan of Virgin River. It's so bad but so good!

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ @Vil10 your OH would be a complete legend if he did it!

Hi @kaylsd, hope you're alright - glad you're getting the ball rolling this month!

Talking of appts, can't be long til yours @Dollybird89?

Definitely worth it for a baby @InkyPaper. Let's hope the process all kicks in quickly!

Hmm interesting @Mumlili9 - would also be interesting to know if any dr's would take them as a an actual result?

No experience of endo but I'd get to your GP @feliznavidad2, worse they could tell you is to come back in x months?

feliznavidad2 · 16/07/2021 08:05

Thanks girls, think you're right, just booked a telephone appt with the nice female GP in a few weeks (next available slot). x

paintfairy · 16/07/2021 08:23

@larrythelizard an hour i waited!
And Virgin River is such easy watching. 🀣
@feliznavidad2 that's great. Definitely worth having a chat and seeing where you get.
I'm jealous of @Minster2012 and her lovely photos she's posting on Instagram. I want to go! @Juno231 looks to be somewhere lovely too!

larrythelizard · 16/07/2021 09:24

Yeah @Minster2012 looks pretty idyllic! I think @Juno231 is in Scotland, I agree that it looks incredible!

Dollybird89 · 16/07/2021 09:33

@larrythelizzard yeah my appointment is 31st July. Af has just gone... So gonna start opks... Not done them much before and already forgot to do bbt today 🀦 lucky for me oh is off for the next 5 days 🀞for peak day

Minster2012 · 16/07/2021 09:38

@Dollybird89 I started bbt late on last cycle & I haven't done it yet this due to being away so it's fine

@paintfairy we are leaving imminently πŸ˜”DH going into work this afternoon & me to new house

@feliznavidad2 def see if you can see the gp bout the spotting

@feliznavidad2 brilliant glad you've got an appt. Hopefully you will find it easier than i did to get referred to gynaecology as you have a history of stage 4 - wasn't given a stage for mine but from talking seems about stage 3.x

Manifestingbaby · 16/07/2021 09:43

@paintfairy that's very wise and very true about options, we just need a change of perspective sometimes.

@feliznavidad2 glad you booked to see gp. O think when there is a known underlying issue there isno point in hanging about.

Vil10 · 16/07/2021 09:49

@paintfairy hahaha I got what you meant! Thankyou x

@InkyPaper here's hoping if needs be it'll be a quick turn around for us! Still hoping I get pregnant whilst going through the process! Glad you're feeling better about Ivf, and you're right, you will get your baby x

@larrythelizard it's definitely something he'd doπŸ˜‚ but turns out the nose bleed boy is off that day so they're sending someone elseπŸ˜‚

So according to flo I ovulate tomorrow, had ewcm just now and been very wet for the last few days but not got a high on an opk yet, this is them so far, I physically can't do them later in the day because I drink so much, so I've been doing them with fmu which I know I shouldn't but needs must, and 1 just before 10, tomorrow though with it being Saturday I won't be at the gym so I'll do one at about 11 and try limit my water intake, thinking maybe I'll get a high tomorrow??

Kirky658 · 16/07/2021 10:17

Ladies, it's our 2nd wedding anniversary (cotton) next month and I've bought DH a jack wills shirt to wear that day as we go out for dinner. Is it a really boring present???

Somatronic · 16/07/2021 10:28

Hi all. Just emerging from a migraine I've had since Wednesday. I'm exhausted.

Still managed to dtd yesterday and get my vaccine so not all bad. Pretty sure I don't ovulate but I think I had a tiny bit of EWCM so thought it was worth a try.

Does no EWCM mean no ovulation?

I'm on holidays after today and the weather is glorious! I'm going on a little tour along the west coast of Ireland (my family and DH's family live along various parts of the west coast so we'll be visiting people along the way).

@Kirky658 my husband would just be amazed that I'd got him something haha. I think I just get him a card most years? My mother never got my father anything more than a card so I thought that was normal. They're married 40 years next week so I guess it's fine!

2020mission · 16/07/2021 10:43

@Kirky658 if it makes you feel any better we only swapped cards for our 2 year cotton anniversary this year πŸ˜† so you're doing well with a shirt in my opinion πŸ‘

Omg @Vil10 can't believe of all people it's that guy that works at your local estate agent πŸ˜… hopefully you'll get a peak OPK soon!

larrythelizard · 16/07/2021 10:47

I found that @Vil10 in terms of the dilution which is why I preferred the expensive clear blue OPKs which is done once a day.

We don't even do anniversary presents @Kirky658 so I think it sounds lovely!

No idea @Somatronic I think @Minster2012 is into pineapple and pomegranate juices to help with the EWCM though? Feel you on the migraines; horrible things.

larrythelizard · 16/07/2021 10:53

How are you @Lexber?

larrythelizard · 16/07/2021 11:03

Also @polkadotpixie when do you start your new job?

Justanothercyster · 16/07/2021 11:30

@Kirky658 better than mine, we're just doing cards because of baby stuff πŸ˜‚ although we'd be leather at 3 years, I could get him a bondage strap? πŸ€”

Minster2012 · 16/07/2021 11:31

@Somatronic I drink grapefruit juice and take evening primrose oil to improve ewcm but all the googling I did said that no ewcm doesn't mean no ovulation

@Vil10 hopefully ovulation tomorrow! Just work on that basis

Justanothercyster · 16/07/2021 11:33

@kaylsd when my dh had his SA he had only one test done, found 0%morphology but motility fine. They put him on the special pills (that clearly worked πŸ™ŒπŸΌ) but had said if they didn't then ivf would be our route x

Kirky658 · 16/07/2021 12:13

@somatronic @2020mission @larrythelizard @justanothercyster thanks girls ❀️ we just wanted to treat each other to something nice on our last one on our own haha x

kaylsd · 16/07/2021 12:24

@larrythelizard hey there lovely lady hope you are keeping well? Tell me about it I've been on pause for this long I may have even forgot what the terms OPK means as I've not used one for that long I'll be brushing the dust off the boxes of the ICs and the symptom spotting will be back on my a game πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ

@Justanothercyster aww bless him im glad there was treatment out there for him to do the trick! I don't know how accurate my hubs first SA was as he went a while without anything bless him before doing it which we wasn't informed any other wise until being on MN and finding out a good insight is abstinence between 3-5 days prior 😢 Hubs just on proxceed twice a day which is meant to be good slightly on the expensive side but if it does the trick anything's a bonus as I know I'm only one round of IVF in our CCGπŸ™ˆ

How gorgeous is this weather ladies! Got my nursing tunic dress on today as I'd prob get tight chub rub in this heat πŸ™„ anyone got some lovely plans over the weekend? Off our for Thai tonight & bbq with both families tomorrow which will be interesting with my MIL track history of being abit of a twat sometimes and my mum will be round to be the first to say something if she tries the insensitive comments around us 🀭

Somatronic · 16/07/2021 13:42

@kaylsd I know the fear of that. My MIL is an absolute bitch and I'll have to visit her for 3 days next week. As we're coming up to our first wedding anniversary I'm expecting some dodgy questions about babies, especially seeing as everyone I know is pregnant including my best friend who got married 2 weeks before me.

My MIL loves drama and and she goes out of her way to be hurtful so asking stupid questions about babies would be right up her alley.

@Minster2012 thanks for that. That's good to know. Maybe later in the year I'll try the juice and the evening primrose oil. I already take a pile of drugs so I am slow to add more but the EWCM situation is a bit concerning at this stage.

Manifestingbaby · 16/07/2021 13:49

Hey girls. I'm going to take a break from here for a little while. Another unsuccessful cycle, let myself hope a little bit too much this month. Keep thinking about what @paintfairy said about we all have options. Think I need to take a little time to consider mine before next fertile week rolls around and might be easier clear my head away from mumsnet. I'll keep an eye out for good news, good luck to those of you still in with a shot this month x

larrythelizard · 16/07/2021 13:52

Oh I love a bit of Thai @kaylsd! Super sunny where I am which is lush. My sister has come to stay which is nice but she's quite hard work in a number of ways!

It's so tempting to tell her a load of bullshit @Somatronic but then you have to keep seeing her so it's probably not worth the drama.

Oh @Manifestingbaby sorry to hear that. We'll be here when you're ready. I'm sorting the next bus as @Minster2012 has dodgy internet, do you want tagging in on it or will you just find us when you're ready?
