TTC 4th baby at 39

Hi girls,

I am so frustrated. I’ve been trying to conceive my fourth since feb. All 28-35 day cycles and no joy: this last cycle has been 45 days so far with me ovulating on cd32. Pregnancy test is negative today 😭 the doctor is not interested but has said he will test to see if I’m peri menopausal. I conceived first month with my other three. This is a new partner but he has a child so I don’t get what the problem is. Sorry I just needed to rant to someone who may understand x

@Hopetobeamumof4 I think I can see a shadow! I really do! I use those ones and never see anything. Are you testing again later? Some people say smu is better x

I’ll probably be testing every wee now until period comes 😂I thought I could see a shadow too but it’s happened before and I’ve not been pregnant. I’ll keep testing. Lucky you lot hey 😂 x

I have no idea where I am in my cycle, I need to use opks to know when I'm ovulating. Do you use them too? When ttc for number 3, I discovered that I ovulated late and had a short lutheal phase

Got my bfp girls!!! Absolutely terrified even though it’s what I want 😂 my partner is away visiting his daughter in Poland at the moment so I want to wait for him to get back but don’t know how I’ll sit on this for 10 days 😬 I have this feeling this will happen for us all now and we can do this journey together 🤞🏻 X

@Monicatatie I'm using opks and my cycle is very boring and predicable, sways from 26-27 days. Although it's still handy to know exactly when I'm ovulating x

@Sunnytimes21 I think I might order some opks too to do this seriously. But now I'm hoping for my AF to come because I want to get my second jab before getting pregnant. In fact, I want to a walk in last weekend but couldn't do it because we dtd without protection this month and I'm not 100% that I'm not pregnant, even though it it's a 0.00001 chance I could be 🤣 so now the plan is AF first, get the vaccine, and properly start TTC

This was my 4th cycle trying and I just had tbis feeling this time. Not a physical feeling but an inkling. Now I’m worrying about miscarriage! Always something to worry about but what ever will be will be hey x

I took prenatals, vitamin d and coq10 for what it’s worth. Did ovulation testing and did detect a surge this month but no ewcm or anything x

@Hopetobeamumof4 I'm cd10 and no ewcm yet which is really unusual for me. I was getting worried that I won't ovulate, but that's reassured me. It's a sign 🤣. I'm on cycle 4 too 🤞 x

Thats weird because I'm not getting much ewcm but cramping instead. I just want af to come now to get this bloody vaccine. I'm on cd21. Last cycle was 24 days so hopefully shouldn't be too long. I also started taking coq10 and prenatals, as well as vitamin b complex. I should probably add vitamin d, wouldn't hurt, especially with this terrible weather.
@Hopetobeamumof4 have you thought about how you're going to tell your partner?

I thought the lack of ewcm would have a big impact but clearly not! I hope cycle 4 works for you @Sunnytimes21! Fingers crossed x

I don’t know what to do. He’s had some issues with his ex over there today so really didn’t want to tell my happy news to him. I may wait for him to get back but it will be really hard! I just hope it will all be ok xx

Count yourself lucky OP, I've been trying same amount of time for you from my first so you don't have much to rant about! Relax.

This is yesterday’s test at the top and today’s at the bottom. It’s a little darker isn’t it? I’m so anxious I know I’ll worry the whole time! Never bloody happy 😂x

@Hopetobeamumof4 oh yes, definitely darker. I would stop testing now if I were you, you are definitely pregnant 🥳❤

@Monicatatie I do need to stop testing as I did a Superdrug last night and it was blank. I cried. I was shaking this morning doing another first response but it came up so fast. Not going to test now anymore x

@Monicatatie 19th of March it says 😍 but will be a week earlier as all mine have been sections. Really scared about that bit x

@Hopetobeamumof4 how exciting! How old is your youngest child? I dont personally know anyone who's had 4 c sections, but I think some celebrities have so it is possible 👌👍

@Monicatatie my youngest is 8. I am really scared of it but I guess I’ll find out what they say if/when I get to my first appointment. I’m scared I’ll die x
