My mum was married at 21 which seems so young. Although a lot less people went to uni back then so with leaving school at 16 and starting your career being the norm I suppose it's less of a surprise they settle down a little earlier? If you count 5 years from finishing uni now that's like settling down at 27 now.

@2020mission I married at 21, we both pursued things before trying for children, once settled, but it wasn’t the norm

@Juno231 no all good, apart from work, who tbh are just like that! Haven’t told my mum yet, we’re not close and want to wait until after the 20week scan, every other pregnancy she has become a physco so not really rushing to let her know! Xx

@Minster2012 pfft as if you don't know the answer! Of course it's enough, it's what's recommended after all - there isn't meant to be any extra benefit from daily DTD I don't think? Seeing as swimmers need 2 days to replenish anyway. You lady are COVERED.

Seriously though, since you mentioned EWCM, I hardly ever get it, and when I do it lasts only a few hours and never matches up with the OPK peaks. Can I assume I'm ovulating without EWCM or is it a really bad sign not to get it? I am waiting on bloods to see if I ovulate without Clomid but the health service is still in bits from the IT attack so I have to wait.

@Somatronic happy to provide the pics fir your pleasure! On the ewcm OBVIOUSLY I've done extensive googling on it recently & I think you can ovulate without ewcm and the ewcm seems to proceed ovulation by a couple of days for most (hence why I'm worried about not DTD when I have it) and the amount goes down as per your age so I read that women in their twenties get like 4 days of ewcm then it goes down to late 30s maybe only getting 1 day. I'm nearly 37 & so I'm still weird but I've been drinking lots of water, taking evening primrose oil & drinking grapefruit juice and Pom juice so is it ahead of your peak OPKs?

@Minster2012 usually feel what I thought was ovulation cramps abou 2 days after, but I've been paying attention, and I get those cramps from about a week before ewcm, so no idea🤷

@Minster2012 thanks for that information. It may be that it's ahead of the OPKs. I'm not using them this month anyway. Might try the fruit juices out and see if they do anything for me.

@Juno231 ahh 17th that's not too far away. Hopefully you'll be able to start IVF soon if it doesn't happen in the next couple of cycles 🤞 I definitely want to find out the sex as soon as I can too. I was a bit shocked to hear that the NHS won't always tell you even if they can see which it is 😐 so I think we will have to pay for a private one later to find out.

It was a BFN but I've started getting light pink and light brown discharge, like egg white mucus but it's light brown... I'm going to wait to see if it gets heavier and is AF 😓😓

It's a lot lighter (colour and flow) than how my period usually starts
