I need of a hand hold.....infact both hands held to stop me reaching for chocolate and undoing all my hard work as I've lost a stone so far and don't want to stress eat it back on! Had my call with the GP, I dont meet the criteria for getting referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic due to not reaching the 6 weeks (while most were only around the 5 week mark some were only days away from 6 weeks so wish I had lied when I originally registered with the fertility clinic if I'd known this 🤬), but I couldn't lie now as they already had the info on their systems. "We don't really count them as miscarriages, they're just biochemical" hearing it said so clinically and bluntly was heartbreaking. Yes it's just a bunch of bloody cells to them but the minute we see those 2 lines they're our hopes and dreams and no one should have to put up with those hopes and dreams being repeatedly shattered over and over again! Instead of fighting I cried 😭🙈 Finally agreed I could get referred but only after the fertility clinic have finished all their tests (they still have the tube one to do) then they need to discharge me as having no explanation then he will push for the RMC to see me but they still might not. And no he can't prescribe progesterone either that needs to come from the RMC. Feel like I'm hitting my head off a brick wall! Looked into Tommy's but there's only one in Scotland and it doesn't seem from the website that you can actually get referred to that one only one of the English ones the nearest being 5 1/2hours away 🤷‍♀️ Away to Google if you can buy progesterone tablets online to try for myself, I know you can get cream but don't know about the tablets. Have seriously lost all faith in the docs so I'm back to my plan of just having a fuck you I'll do it on my own pregnancy .....now just to tell my body it needs to co operate with this plan!

I got an LH peak yesterday so looks like the shenanigans from my covid jab only affected last month. Going back to the clinic next month for another embryo transfer attempt. The consultant agreed that defrosting the poor little things to do genetic testing and then refreezing them, then to defrost one again if they were any good, was a lot of interference so we’re just going to try adding progesterone and low dose aspirin and see how we go.

My supermarket only sells it in 300mg tablets, for those who’ve had any success with aspirin what dose were you on?

We've done our national trust pit stop and now doing the remaining 90mins drive down the M5. It's beautiful weather, I really hope it's like this all weekend but I haven't looked yet!

Oh that is unbelievably shit @DKDK123 any idea how long fertility clinic will take? Any private clinics that might give you a prescription? Or even a private prescription from your GP? I really feel for you, I love the NHS but it is SLOW! And time is literally of the essence when TTC. Treat yourself, if you are trying not to undo your fab work on your weight could you have a different treat? Go for a massage/nails/out with friends? I have some gaffer tape in the garage if that helps you to refrain from the chocolate, Lord knows I need it at the moment!

Ladies my body is fucking with me... I know I’m pretty ropey at temping but I think ok enough for a basic idea and ov was confirmed 7 days ago 🎉 BUT I have had cramping the last couple of days and today some verrrrry stretchy clear CM... have I fucked up? DH will get it tonight just in case but I’m so confused! Send help!!! 😂

@Sunbird24 you can get 75mg from most supermarkets/pharmacies. I got some in my online shop from morrisons. Technically not allowed to sell for early pregnancy so tell them it is for your dad or something and he normally has them on prescription 🤫

@Franklydear @notyetamumbuttrying yeah the whole £8000 for the surrogates I was most shocked by as we know the average surrogacy fee in the UK is £16,000-20,000 & when we looked into the US the agencies were charging £1200000. We paid our friend more than that & she was doing it for the love of us and that was just her expenses. Bizarre and now she wants another of her own? Surely her 6 year old finds it very weird like who the hell is THIS baby! Some of us struggle here so not fair 🤨

@DKDK123 ok so let's look at the positive, they will refer you after the fertility tests done, that's great. I am flabbergasted about the 6 week thing, I've not been told that. I would be very careful over the progesterone cream, can you ask the fertility clinic to let you have private prescriptions? I would really not want to trust stuff from the internet. It's so horrible and I'm hugging you right now lady 😘

@Sunbird24 I was taking 75mg aspirin and I got it from Savers, but then I got told by the midwife to take 150mg (don't forget I have clotting issues though) that's great for peak though!

In more ewcm /smiley news here I got the biggest lot of ewcm earlier so gotta keep banging and I'm on CD21 and day 11 of flashing smiles. Seeing as I ovulated around CD20 last time I'm keeping going with them just to see what they say but still no idea!

@larrythelizard I know I'm such a bitch, I say I'd never be that MIL too. If DD wants to elope to the other side of the world, I'd be happy as long as she was. Her side of the family is the type that no one has ever lived outside the hometown, weird. I mean it's 40 miles away ffs, shame she darent drive on the motorway to come see us 😂
