@Tornado2Inc yes first time using progesterone. It says to put one in twice a day, 12 hours apart and it's best to lay down for 20 mins after?! How do people fit this in casually every day?! We are seeing OH's family tomorrow - do I need to say I'm going for a nap? Or not bother lying down only to feel it trickling out? So complicated.

@notyetamumbuttrying depends a bit on the salary they offer but I am desperate to leave. Where I am now is a dead end, with a boss who has no clue what she's doing and a business that are just a giant mickey mouse club. My salary is stagnant here as well - the only good thing is the mat leave really. This role I've applied for could be a great salary jump though, has future potential and more annual leave. The only drawback is that I might miss out on paid mat leave and probably will have to delay IVF regardless as my current notice period is 3 months.... Gah.

@Juno231 oh that's a tricky one!! I guess you'll have to write a pros and cons list and see which one comes out on top!

@Amy00 I'm on progesterone as I'm doing ivf. No one told me to lie down afterwards so just pop it in and go. I wish someone told me to get pantyliners tho as you do lose some of it!!

Ooh excellent news @Juno231 sounds like a rubber stamp to me! Can your contact give you any feedback/advice for it? I have had an initial conversation for an internal role and booking the first interview for an external role next week although now I have to choose between two very very similar roles (only difference is c.£10M deals or c.£25M deals) in a bit of a quandary how to play it!

@Minster2012 remember to sign up to the 9 month guarantee on the premom app now that you've bought easy@home tests. Not that we still want you ttc in 9 months but if you haven't gotten pregnant by then they'll refund you any you've bought from their range (ovulation tests, pregnancy tests or basal thermometers) you just type in your amazon order number and they refund it all back to your amazon account. I got about £80 back I think it was (I'd bought the thermometer too so that bumped the price up). It's no substitute for a baby but if it's something your buying anyways it's nice to get some money back to soften the blow if you're still trying!

@franklydear I really hope your body isn't being a tease I'm getting so excited with your symptoms and really hoping this is it for you.

@Amy00 a tentative congratulations. I've been in a similar boat to you only mine aren't making it to the 6 weeks so I know how scared you'll be to get your hopes up. Keeping everything crossed for you that the progesterone works and sending lots of positive vibes for a sticky bean your way 🤞 Don't feel bad about the wine, I was doing tequila shots the night before I got a bfp with DS and felt so guilty and terrified it'd do damage but after researching they get nothing from you that early as the placenta hadn't formed yet so don't worry you're alright with your wine!

Not a lot to report here, FW but have only DTD once so far, part of me wants to just leave it this month to fully mentally heal as that last one did really take its toll more than any of the others and don't know if I'm ready to go through it again if we caught this month. I've been focusing on just staying calm as poss. Listening to relaxing music doing breathing exercises, yoga and look at the drop in my RHR so it's definitely working as it's the lowest it's been in about a year 😊 Also had a big chat with my boss and the one above her as well who unofficially said to me next time I fall pregnant if I want to think about having time off in the early stages to see if it helps get passed the 6 week mark then I can as they know how stressful the job can be (we need to deal with violent behaviour quite regularly so your adrenaline is constantly going) and want to do all that they can to help. I wish I had confided in them long long ago as they have been so amazingly supportive.

@notyetamumbuttrying that's so exciting! Have you got any new stuff bought/ordered for the new house??

@bez91 freedom is here and it never felt so good!! Ohh jealous you've done a house reno, I'd love to do that eventually, we're hoping to get into property too! The house we're in now is my OH's it was his first house he bought on his own 7 years ago so he doesn't want to give it up when we move so he's renting it out and then the plan is for us to buy a cheap fixer upper together, renovate then rent it out!

Still coughing a tad but nhs said that's fine and I can be expected to still be coughing for a few weeks as long I have no temp, sneezing, diarrhoea etc I'm fine with being back at work! Hope the hayfevers better today, I don't suffer from it but suffer from sinus headaches in this weather, this weather is a bitch sometimes!!

Well girls, freedom never felt so good!! Currently back at the gym, lost 2lb these last 10 days so currently sitting at a 16lb loss, and my rhr has been sat at 43-45, so my fitness has definitely improved which makes me happy!! Hope everyone has a lovely Friday🥂❤️

I've had a call back just now from the NHS doctor. TTC for 13 months, 2 MCs, anovulatory cycles but because my last blood test result was not below 30 for progesterone they won't refer me (it was 30 BANG ON FLIPPIN' 30) 🤣 thank god I've got the private consultation later today because otherwise I'd be raging.

@Juno231 like someone was saying the other day on here, was it @Minster2012, you can't be living on "what ifs" and you haven't been happy in your job for a really long time since, and hopefully the jump in salary plus future prospects will make up for any potential lost mat leave. Plus you still might be fine even with 3m notice, my company policy wording is complicated but works out that as long as you aren't pregnant when you start, you'll get full benefits (I work at a large global company). I don't know how you find out about their policy before joining - you could try glassdoor?

@DKDK123 thanks. My last BFP in November was similar to yours with a chemical so know only too well what could happen from here. I wish getting the BFP would be the only hurdle we had to get past! Instead it feels like ok managed to ovulate ✅ got the positive test ✅ now need to keep it going and it seems like an insurmountable hurdle with so much that could go wrong urgh. Your RHR looks fab!! Think I need to take a leaf out of your book! That is fab what your work have said to you. What is it you do again that means you have to deal with violence?

@vil10 16lbs! Well done and your RHR is that of an athlete girl... I know a guy with the same RHR and he cycles 32 miles a day and does regular triathlons.

I feel sick today, anyone whose been on progesterone before felt like this after 2 weeks of being on it?

Well lots happened today & seems I mistyped this morning I did not sing myself back to sleep (my singing would keep ppl awake! I meant I want to be asleep 🤣

@Amy00 that's great news! Everything crossed for a sticky one. On the progesterone, my ivf clinic said (when I mentioned other ppl do one morning one night) to me that it didn't make a difference, I was told to do my 3 at night & leave in to go sleep which is better as less movement so I think just do that? @blackcurrantqueen how are you doing yours?

@Franklydear there's still hope though, a cheapie after 2 hours!

@notyetamumbuttrying yes I have felt sick unfortunately on both a pregnant cycle and a non pregnant cycle, I think the progesterone just did that to me (along with early waking & vivid dreams) but everyone is different 🤞🏻

So we haven't fully decided yet but we can't see our trip going ahead at all and have no idea when it will as I wouldn't want to book something for 3/4 weeks so far away during all this pandemic crap, the uncertainty with money/travel etc just isn't making us feel confident, so we kinda decided to not not try but not get as caught up in it, so we won't be using condoms but I won't be tracking ovulation, then we're going to book in our bloods and sa end of June, after OH's birthday, and see what happens/where it goes, so it's kinda if we get to go on our trip next year amazing, if we fall pregnant before hand then amazing! So on that note, according to flo I'm in FW, felt very wet last few days and we've been DTD lots this last week, think being in isolation had contributed to that, so who knows, the first cycle back kinda TTC might be the lucky one??
