The agency driver did the most amazing job I tried to offer a permanent job but apparently temping is much more lucrative & she’s got a gig elsewhere much better paid than driving you reprobates so you a stuck with me I’m afraid, like that rash you’ve been meaning to go to the doctors about or a guy with a cheesey dick you really need to have a conversation with but can’t bring yourself too 🤪�hthank you so much @larrythelizard

@larrythelizard friends DS results not back yet, we don't actually have to isolate as no confirmed result but laying low today anyway. I've heard lots of people say it delayed their ovulation. Could be true, I didn't ov until CD19 the cycle after 🤷‍♀️

Day off today and end of AF, I really struggle with fatigue for a couple of days end of AF. Anyone else have this? Full blood counts have been ok but I wonder if it's low iron although I don't have particular heavy bleeds and my supplements give me 70% of RDA 🤷‍♀️
Managed to meal prep this morning, this will NEVER happen again but it's one week done 😆

@Minster2012 I did it with my next door neighbours and some others pitched up to help intermittently. It's a council drive to make the streets greener and helping retain water, purify air and help insects and bees along. Love that stuff! :) As for scarecrows... maybe a mary poppins version with a raised umbrella? How's the house sale/purchase going?

FFS I have a thrush again for the 3rd time since Feb. Time for a call to the gp I think?

@bez91 might be worth upping the iron anyway - 70% of RDA is nothing when the uptake tends to be poor. And remember to pair it with Vit C for absorption. You could be low on ferritin though? Your meals look delicious btw!

@Haiyaa when was AF due? I guess that's the next milestone to worry about but in the meantime you're pregnant and deserve to feel happy about that

@Juno231 thanks for sharing the video I'm still interested in watching that. I did cut out as much plastic as I could in recent months to see if it would help us. It was mostly me though as I was using soap bars instead of products from plastic bottles but my husband didn't... the most benefit he would have got was the glass food containers we switched to for all food and I made some green cleaners to cut down on the chemicals.

Nothing to report here, still no taste or smell, however I've got a horrendous sinus headache that kept me up all night, I've always suffered with them when I get cold etc, but this one is bad, from my eyebrow into my eye, nose, cheek bone and teeth!! Weighed myself this morning and to my surprise I've lost another 1lb, god knows how, but it spurred me on to do a workout this morning! Has anyone who's had covid found you got out of breath really quick? I feel like I'm knackered doing a workout, a lot more than usual! On the last stretch of isolation now, last day is Thursday then back at work Friday!

I know I've been quiet here and I'm sorry I've not been engaging and supporting you all. So an update from me, I got my appointment for the reoccuring miscarriage clinic through today. We have a telephone appointment next week which is less than 4 weeks since I got referred so I'm really pleased. I've also had my blood forms through and I've got to have 4 vials taken at the end of the month (6wks post MC) and again at the end of July (10wks post MC) and some of the result take about 6 weeks to come so hopefully we'll have some answers mid-end September. I mean I don't actually know the time line but I'm hopeful & trying to remain optimistic. I'd love to have a plan in place & be able to ttc again before the end of the year.

@larrythelizard yeah il definitely be keeping an eye out for new jobs however I have to give 5/6 weeks notice before leaving so I'll have to work that and not sure if that counts in the 4.5 months I have to return to work or not ?

@Juno231 I get enhanced maternity pay through the company I work for so I get 4,5 months full pay and the rest I have to take statutory but if I don't return to work for the time I was paid I have to pay it back.

@2020mission unfortunately it's the same here, so many lovely colleagues who just can't stick it anymore. I'm not sure how I have to be honest and if you ask any of my current colleagues they'll all say our manager affects our mental health. Not sure how she's still here tbh. We get a good annual bonus, flexible hours with appointments etc, can leave early and start late if need be, get to do any training through work we want etc. Holiday allowance is a lot too, so much so we all normally run out of time to take it !

@bez91 being back in work today was not nice after so many days although knowing I will be at the seaside for 4 days in roughly a weeks time is getting me through it ! Lush meal prep!

@Minster2012 plodding and waddling is how I'm describing myself atm 🤣🤣

@Vil10 I will be looking, and by the time I go on maternity leave I will have a diploma in management level 3 so hopefully that will help 🥺

I feel you @Vil10, I’ve had chronic sinus issues for over a year - I use a saline sinus rinse regularly (NeilMed Neti Pot) and a steroid spray from the GP whilst I wait for my ENT referral to come through, but not to keep harping on, one thing that seems to have made a huge difference is acupuncture! I’ve even been able to reduce my spray.

@Haiyaa yes I am still seeing mine I'm actually going to see her tomorrow, can't wait for it lol I leave feeling way more zen 😂

@Juno231 love the idea of brightening up your street; ive also planted some nice pink flowers in my front flowerbed, and a couple of sunflowers! Really hope they all thrive 🤞🏼

Definitely give the GP a call if it's your third time having thrush. Maybe need something a bit stronger to kick it xx

How often are you going @blackcurrantqueen if you don’t mind me asking? I’m going to call mine today or tomorrow but last time she said every two weeks during the first trimester was probably fine as I had no hx of miscarriage but I wonder if I might need weekly now.

@Haiyaa so I had a block of weekly after my last mc, but I've now gone to 2 weekly and I found out I was pregnant just before my last session, she said that she thought that would be ok but that she was at the end of the phone if I changed my mind and wanted to come sooner, I've managed to stick to the two week mark though, but not sure I'd want to stretch it any more than that though x

@Vil10 I'm ok thanks! Slight sore throat so now I'm freaking out I've got Covid! 🙄 I've got a pcr test at home so might do that tomorrow if it hasn't gone by then.

Deffo a call to the gp re thrush @Juno231. I used to have it almost all the time but not really since I stopped eating dairy. Now it flares up either with antibiotics or if I have a heavy few days/week on a boozy/carby/sugary diet (I think I'm quite yeast sensitive)

I guess because it's a respiratory illness @Vil10 it may make you feel like that. Just listen to your body and go steady, if you need to rest up then do it, you're clearly doing well to still be losing 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

@2020mission I've swapped to bar soap too! and bought special washing liquid for all out clothes, bought non teflon pans etc. Thing is it's everywhere - the video mentioned it coating pizza boxes, your raincoat etc so it feels a bit futile!
