So ladies. You thought you got rid of me eh? Like the omnipresent flashing smiley face on the joker clear blue sticks you can’t get past I’m BACK! 🤡😄

The agency driver did the most amazing job I tried to offer a permanent job but apparently temping is much more lucrative & she’s got a gig elsewhere much better paid than driving you reprobates so you a stuck with me I’m afraid, like that rash you’ve been meaning to go to the doctors about or a guy with a cheesey dick you really need to have a conversation with but can’t bring yourself too 🤪hthank you so much @larrythelizard

We’ve reserved a bench seat each for our newest 2 sets of bus twins, but don’t worry there’s still room for more!

So get those cheese dicks 🧀🍆washed & prepped, park up the camper van, ditch the whey powder & join the team for the banging game!

The price of your bus pass is an embarrassing story please, doesn’t have to go be TTC related and nothing is TMI here so let’s hope the ride (bus not banging) doesn’t take long 🤞🏻🙌🏻

This is where dogs, dicks & chat go hand in hand as we navigate the stormy seas of TTC.

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

Oh yes maybe booze should be added to the list @Minster2012 - I enjoyed a very delicious espresso martini or two on the weekend I ovulated this month. How did you get on at the beach? Love that we can go and finally enjoy it now although not averse to a cold beach walk, sun is always nicer. We have some lovely beaches in Norfolk.

Minster2012 · 06/06/2021 22:28

@lucyrp beer caps over nipples 🤣🙌🏻brilliant

I'm not a fan of espresso martini @Haiyaa which is weird cos I LOVE coffee (though luckily have found a decaf I like too) but love a cocktail, I'm fully down for alcohol is OK! The beach was so fab and I couldn't believe it was bikini weather but it was great, and we went over to my parents for a bbq today too with them, it was so nice to see the cousins playing 🥰

@Minster2012 whoop 🙌🏾 here's to the 9dp a 5dt! Agree with getting dh on some male prenatal's too @KiwiTTC1st even just the wellman ones.
@lucyrp haha I want to see those photos 😂
@Haiyaa oh ok, so mega early then. Will you test every every other day now or every day?

Haiyaa · 06/06/2021 22:39

@notyetamumbuttrying yes I suppose quite early for a positive although was a real squinter this morning. I still think that is ok though as I could have implanted on day 7 or early day 8 and have enough HCG for a FRER. I’ve been cramping like mad since 5DPO - why what are you thinking? Ectopic?

@Minster2012 glad you had a good time, my DD has had some time with her cousins too these last couple of weeks, it’s the best isn’t it? What coffee did you find? I’m mostly decaf anyway as caffeine seems to make my anxiety worse but always looking for something new!

Crazydoglady123 · 06/06/2021 23:06

Will catch up tomorrow properly!

@Haiyaa that's a stronger line!

@notyetamumbuttrying CONGRATS on being PUPO 🥳🥳🥳 amazing embryo news

Franklydear · 06/06/2021 23:11

@Haiyaa ectopic would take longer to show, not early, don’t worry about that, take every day as it comes

Ltay2 · 07/06/2021 03:12

Will catch up shortly, hope everyone is well!

@Mrsi2020 hopefully you see this, we noticed you left the fb group / deactivated your account so hope you are ok! Xx

DKDK123 · 07/06/2021 06:51

@Haiyaa that evening one is definitely no squinter, I know there's no point in telling you to relax so instead I shall just whisper congratulations and send you the squishing of hugs while crossing my fingers for a sticky bean 🤞

@larrythelizard one of my covid jags delayed ovulation by nearly a week.

Going back to work after being off last week and DS has woken with a runny nose which means by lunchtime his cold will have taken hold he'll start coughing and I'll have to leave work to take him for a covid test. Sometimes I do think it would be easier going back to the days of women being housewives as juggling children and work is not fun you forever feel guilty one way or another that you're letting one of them down 🙄

lucyrp · 07/06/2021 07:42

@DKDK123 I had this a couple of weeks ago, DS just had a cough for weeks on end and I got a phone call a couple of times after they'd been out playing at dinner time that he'd coughed too many times within a certain period of time so I had to leave work to go and collect him. It was annoying as obviously the only reason he was coughing so much was because he'd been running around lots!

@notyetamumbuttrying they were pretty funny and made an appearance on her Facebook on her birthday of course 😂 she's leaning up against my OH too so it's even funnier 😂

@Minster2012 why not eh🤪😉

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/06/2021 07:52

@Haiyaa yeah that's true! Those signs sound good. I have no experience of pregnancy so would never jump to ectopic, I just thought it was quite early to test but can see why you did if you had cramps from 5dpo. I hope you get darker lines as the week goes on! 🤞🏾
@Crazydoglady123 thank you dear, how you getting on?
@lucyrp haha sounds hilarious 🤣

blackcurrantqueen · 07/06/2021 08:05

@Haiyaa excited to see this mornings lines... 😂

lucyrp · 07/06/2021 08:07

I've had pretty much a week off work this last week and its been bliss, its also been half term so got to spend some time with DS🥰 back today for a week then off from next tuesday for a week as going away for a few days as 3 of us before baby arrives. I am hating work atm and my best friend who I work with has just found another job too 🥲

Juno231 · 07/06/2021 08:21

www.bbc.com/reel/video/p09k7qw5/how-modern-life-is-making-men-infertile this video is so good! Talks about how our grandfathers had 99 m/ml sperm whereas our generation only has 47m and how at 20 now we're less fertile than our grandmothers were at 35 🙊

@Minster2012 we had BIL and his gf over for a bbq on Saturday and yday I spent the day greenifying our street by planting flowers by every tree and encouraging neighbours to take plants to put on their windowsills/front gardens :)

@Haiyaa tentative congratulations xxx hope it's a sticky one

@lucyrp I know how you feel - I hate my job and two of my colleagues that I like are both interviewing elsewhere so I'm terrified they'll leave me behind with the shit members of the team 😅. I've got two interviews lined up today in an attempt to jump ship...

lucyrp · 07/06/2021 08:34

@Juno231 its been the same for a while, our boss is diabolical and has had many complaints against her but the only reason she still has her job is she keeps hitting her targets which is obviously because of us. All of the team are looking for new jobs and I'm scared to death il come back from maternity and everyone will have left me 🥺 I've looked many a time for a new job but nothing around here seems to have as good benefits/ bonus or flexibility and I love my colleagues. Sucks that il have to return for at least 4.5 months after mat 🙄

larrythelizard · 07/06/2021 08:49

Maybe when you're ready to come back @lucyrp there'll be a job where your best mate works? Don't forget you accrue holiday whilst off so you could always use some of that to cover the 4.5mo you have to work?

Thanks @Haiyaa and @DKDK123 I'll keep an eye out for ovulation signs but good to know it might be the jab as opposed to me not ovulating! God knows what my day 21 bloods will show tomorrow...!

larrythelizard · 07/06/2021 08:50

Oh god @Juno231 I don't think I can read that article!

Juno231 · 07/06/2021 09:06

@larrythelizard ha I know - but it was fascinating! It kinda was in line with "it starts with the egg" on the whole, get rid of plastics, non stick pans, nail varnish, perfumes etc. They were saying how men from agricultural towns in Missouri had half the swimmers of men elsewhere in the states just by virtue of living near farms where they obv use pesticides... mind blowing.

@lucyrp oof how come you have to work for 4,5 months after mat leave? Some of my friends def got new jobs lined up whilst on mat leave so I keep thinking maybe I could do that to if this role doesn't work out for me.

Franklydear · 07/06/2021 09:09

@Juno231 I can't read that article, but it makes sense, so fewer children being born

Being sick this morning, could be too much phlegm, yes, I know, nice, I fear a chest infection coming on, but looking back I had a big flare up just before finding out I was pregnant last time

Franklydear · 07/06/2021 09:11

@Juno231 companies can claim back maternity payif you don't come back or leave before X amount of time after, my maternity pay is very good, so I would mind

Kirky658 · 07/06/2021 09:12

@haiyaa wooop deffo see that one clear as day!! Everything crossed for you. X

@notyetamumbuttrying woop woop congrats on being PUPO ❤️ snuggle bean snuggle!!!

Nothing to report from me, very boring, back at work today and wondering how I will survive the next 9 weeks till mat leave 😂

2020mission · 07/06/2021 09:20

True @Franklydear I'm also planning to find a new job and will need to figure out how much I would lose if I jump ship during maternity leave. I'm planning to work until the last minute at the end of this year and then job hunt during my maternity leave. It will depend on the new salary if I find a new job as if it's higher it might balance out any loss from what my current employer takes back. I've watched so many nice colleagues come and go over the years because of our terrible manager. There's part of me that doesn't care about a bit of money loss 😅 many things like the holiday allowance, flexible working opportunity and a reasonable manager can make a job better than the salary alone.

Franklydear · 07/06/2021 09:37

@2020mission so true, we are under closure threat, so I'll stick around cos the pay out would allow me to comfortably take a big part of the year off, appyable if I am on maternity

Juno231 · 07/06/2021 09:38

@Franklydear yeah I was wondering if that was it. I don't think I've worked for one that had that policy so am unsure how many do insist on it!

Kirky658 · 07/06/2021 09:41

@2020mission yes I believe it is a standard policy if you are able to claim a company maternity pay then you have to pay it back should you decide to leave the company, they will normally let you pay it in instalments though. I'm also going to be looking for a new job on mat leave I think. My salary is great but like you said sometimes there's more than salary! My lifestyle with this job role (ie staying away and travelling a lot) isn't really going to fit in with a baby so I need to do some serious thinking. DH and I talked about me going part time as a starting point so at least it would still be a good salary and we would easily manage on 80% of my salary...

Haiyaa · 07/06/2021 09:42

Thanks everyone again, trying to just be happy but it is more difficult than last time. My husband had to remind me this is a good thing! He’s being really sweet and I think trying to be extra excited for the both of us.

@Juno231 I watched that, thanks. It was very interesting and although frightening, some of it was quite reassuring around the use of chemicals and they stick around for only a few hours in some cases so eliminating them should help in terms of male fertility. It was also nice that some of the onus was put on men and sperm quality when it comes to miscarriage, I think it’s something you wonder about at the time but it feels like a totally female issue even today.

Oooohhh @Franklydear this is exciting! When is AF due? Do you think you will do a test soon?

Haha @blackcurrantqueen, I did a test which was the same as yesterday evening but it was less than 12 hours 🤣 nothing on the cheapies yet but they are much less sensitive. Already feeling more nauseous than last time though. Thinking of calling my acupuncturist today as not due to see her again for another couple of weeks. Are you still going?
