I’m on Lubion every other day as well as a Cyclogest pessary every morning and evening.

@Sunbird24 it was yesterday I started, actually okay! Used an ice pack and didn’t feel the injection at all. Think they’re giving me a headache though. Had my covid jab today too so feeling very poked 😂

Bother, I wasn’t far off then!
Make sure you stay well hydrated, that should help. You’ll be a pro with needles after all this…

I’m 7+2 today, odd waves of nausea and a lot of fatigue, plus struggling to remember important work things. Hooray for weekends!

@Sunbird24 no you were spot on for AF but they got me starting on day 2 of my cycle ☺️ Haha not that close but I’m a lot better already with them yes!
Hmm that’s me on a normal day so don’t think I’ll be much better in early pregnancy 😂
When’s your scan booked in?

@Sunbird24 wait it’s next week isn’t it? Did you say was in at end of 7 weeks?

Yes it’s on Tuesday! I had a blood test at the GPs on Wednesday as I’ve been getting occasional pins & needles in my hands, and they emailed me back on Thursday pm to say they’d got my results and the dr wants to discuss them with me, on Monday morning 😣 Clearly not something he thinks might impact my pregnancy then!
If everything is good on Tues I’ll be seeing the midwife on Weds… 🤞🤞

@Sunbird24 oh no what a pain! It can’t be that serious though otherwise they’d have called you straight away. Do you know why they were testing for?

Mostly anaemia and B12 deficiency, but also brought forward the routine annual check on levels for something I had fixed a couple of years ago, and a full blood count just to see if there might be any other explanation. Guess I’ll find out in a couple of days!
How are you getting on? You were awake early!

@Sunbird24 ah ok so lots of options then! I remember when I was having kidney issues and ended up on an IV they rang me as soon as the results came back to get me in so hoping can’t be too serious 🤞🏻
I’m good, third of the way through injections! I was up for work, ugh. My second busiest week of the year so it’s a fab time to have a covid injection and my ivf 😂 and now I’m stuck in the wake up early cycle!

@Sunbird24 how did everything go?

So both embryos did implant, but one didn’t last more than a couple of weeks and the other has a heartbeat but only measured 6+1 when it should have been 7+6, so could go either way. I’m still going to my midwife appointment this afternoon but I’ve got to go to the EPU in a week for another scan to see if it’s grown or given up. 🤐🤞

@LS2020 I don’t think so, it’s only about 2mm, and separate from the other one. Probably not unusual to start out with twins and lose one, it’s happened to a friend of mine at a later stage and she’s now 26 weeks

Good, thank you @Sunbird24. I’ve finally (touch wood) stopped being sick every day, that’s over the last week or so. I’m 27.5 weeks now.

I am in for my egg retrieval tomorrow. Finished all my injections now and then hopefully transfer will be about Friday x

The EPU have made me an appointment for next Monday afternoon - sent the letter after I called them Wednesday morning but didn’t bother calling me so I’ve been stressing about it for 5 days and had called them again this morning. So much for the ‘rescan in 7-10 days’ recommended by the clinic

I spoke to them this morning, they’ve nothing sooner and as they’re over an hour away and I can’t have my phone in work I couldn’t take anything short notice 🤷🏻‍♀️ Looking for a private one with availability but not going well so far
