@LS2020 here you go 😊 Baby in there thinking they’re a contortionist, that’s their knees by their nose and their feet were up over their head 😂 yea at the moment we’re leaving it, altho curiosity may get the better of us! It’s really one of the last proper surprises left isn’t it?

My LH is creeping up, 24% yesterday, 71% today, looks like I’ll be ovulating in a couple of days! Aiming for transfer next Mon or Tues, already told both my new boss and my deputy that I intend to take the full day off to eat McDonald’s fries (even though implanting is not my usual issue) and I’ve only got to get through next week then I’m off for a fortnight! I would have been spot on with the time off I’ve booked but the stupid covid jab made AF turn up a week early and muck it up a bit.
How is everyone else doing? This week is a bit weird for me as it would have been week 40 if I hadn’t had the November miscarriage, but I’m not upset or anything and I feel like I probably should be 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s annoying on holidays, I had a week off mid July for hopefully my first IVF round but looks like it’ll be august so typical!
Take care of yourself. My same day in May I booked a spa weekend beforehand to take the sting out of it x

I’m glad you’re feeling generally okay at the moment but do be mindful to be kind to yourself. I don’t think there’s really any right or wrong or shoulds or shouldn’ts with loss.

Well they’re in. I wore fluffy socks, my pelvic floor behaved itself, the nurse got them in on the first attempt and then brought me hot chocolate and biscuits while I had a bit of a lie down after. Got McDonald’s fries on the way home and have had my first dose of progesterone. Got pineapple and brazils on standby but not sure when I’m supposed to eat them!
All in the lap of the gods now… 🤞🤞

@Sunbird24 hope this goes well for you 🤞🏻 You start pineapple today, no clue on Brazil’s sorry!

My IVF starts 4th august so got ages to wait now x

@LS2020 sorry you’ve got a wait, but it’s good it’s only a month. I expect you’ve already been doing all the healthy stuff for ages so your eggs will be in tip-top condition anyway. Good luck!

@Sunbird24 everyone says it goes quick but it feels like it’s dragging haha!
I’m getting some weight lost and that’s about it. Got vit d, folic acid and coq10 so that will have to do 🤷‍♀️
We’ve paid for timelapse too so hopefully that helps us when the eggs fertilise 🤞🏻

@LS2020 I did that too, so I have little video clips of embryos 1, 4 & 5, for some reason they forgot to load them to the portal for 2 & 3 on my second transfer. They did give me a printed photo of them though. It’s quite nice to watch!

@Sunbird24 oh that’s so cool I didn’t know they did that! I said to my OH that we should get a token picture for paying that much so that makes sense they send you copies 😊 the mini video we saw on clinics website was interesting and we wanted to give it a go

Annoyingly mine all seem to be slightly off-centre, but it’s amazing to see the cells divide and form a blastocyst

Ah no, they only put the video up when the embryo has defrosted successfully and they know they’re transferring it

Less than two weeks for me now!!

5+2 today, getting some nausea and lots of bloating but that could be the progesterone. Scan booked for 10 Aug, which will be 7+6.
How are you feeling?
