@CaribouCarafe am I allowed to have a favourite kitten? They’re all super-cute but I like the middle one best, with the hairy ears! 😂

@Sunbird24 he tends to be the higher ranked of the 2 kittens (by other people, not me: I love them equally I promise!) - he's also the more extroverted one. In defence of the bigger, darker one I posted a really derpy picture of him.

Hopefully this picture restores some of his honour .

@LS2020 drinks on Saturday sounds lovely and I hope the hospital call goes well!

@Sunbird24 fingers crossed for next month! I think I'm out this month - didn't DTD at the right time. I never feel up for sex when I'm actually ovulating, I feel more into it in the run up to AF for some reason!

Also I have to say, the ginger one's ear hair is so out of control it casts its own shadow

I could never foster, I'd just end up with a home full of animals I'd intended to foster but ended up adopting and DH would definitely divorce me for it

Bonus derp for you @CaribouCarafe - he was my Velcro boy, I would have kept him if I could but I was only looking after him while his owner was overseas for several months

He is gorgeous and seems like he was such a good little pal! 😻

Anyone else want to share pictures of their pets on the thread given the absence of BFPs and scans!

We don’t have any pets but we did the guide dog volunteering and looked after a training puppy for 15 weeks and he was adorable 🥰

My scan photos are actually not the clearest @LS2020 baby was an unreasonable little so and so both times and would not stay even remotely still!But I’m now 18 weeks (just about) so will report back with an update and a picture after the 20 week scan

@CaribouCarafe unfortunately not, we were his last placement before he went on to his blind person but he was already two so not sure how much growing he had left to do!

I’m having a v weird cycle. Wonder if I didn’t ovulate. 11dpo and I have no symptoms at all. My boobs normally kick in from 7dpo so no clue what’s happening.

Ah that's so frustrating @LS2020 - did you not do OPKs this cycle or were they all coming up negative?

I might be going mental but DH and I have been having fun with my morning piss stick today. Do you see a hint of a second line? (Usually these cheapies are really clear for me but I feel I can see something which is really hard to pick up on camera admittedly). DH initially said he thought he saw a line...turns out he was talking about the control line

I'm 8DPO, 1 week to go until AF is due...

@CaribouCarafe I think I can see it on the first pic, but not so much on the other two. If AF isn’t due for a week it’s still very early though, can you manage to wait a couple more days to test again? Think I’d probably be POAS several times a day so no judgment here!

@Sunbird24 yeah far too early to be testing, but I like peeing on things .

I'll take another test the day after tomorrow and see whether there is a second line...even though that'll also still be very early!

I swear next door’s kids are enough to put me off having my own. If they’re not fighting with each other they’re taking it in turns whinging, or screaming, or banging doors. My next house needs to be detached…

@Sunbird24 I think the usual next step is to imagine you would never produce such little oiks and that yours will be positively well-behaved and charming

Also good news is IVF has been okay’d be doctor and should get a referral in next few weeks

Thank you all ❤️ Feeling very excited and real now!! I’m wondering about buying a book on so I feel a bit more in control but im wondering if it’s one of those things it’s almost best not to know too much on and trust my body with?

Urgh so AF just arrived 3 days early. She came with extra painful cramps and a slight fever which is proving to be lots of fun...
