@CaribouCarafe ah that sucks love. I thought I was due AF today but for some reason my trackers wrong by 2 days do still 2 days to go. Feel like I’ve being PMSing for two weeks.
Had my covid vaccine today and feel like I won’t sleep at all as I’m so crampy from pms.
Make sure you have a drink and hope it all goes/went well!

Was that your first jab @LS2020?
I’m not entirely sure when AF is next due because of the wonky one after my jab. Femometer says 15th, PeriodTracker says 21st. Suspect it’ll be somewhere between the two…

@Sunbird24 yes I’m under 30 so it’s only just opened up so got in quick on my day off. My arm is absolutely killing me, can’t sleep at all. Will you do your next cycle with this one?
Well I’m CD27 and normally have some type of spotting but no update yet!

Yes, starting low dose aspirin as soon as AF turns up and then POAS religiously to spot my LH peak - will book the embryo transfer for 5 days after that, and start extra progesterone as soon as they’re on board! I’ve just ordered L-methylfolate from Amazon to see if it’s any better than folic acid for me.
Fingers crossed for you this month, lack of spotting could be a good sign!

Thanks everyone! The meet and greet went ok in the end - I dosed up on ibuprofen and quaffed some wine at the event and they mixed together quite nicely .

@LS2020 do you have any side effects? I had AstraZeneca (I'm 27) and felt awful afterwards for 2 days after my first dose, had no side effects with the second dose. I continued TTC because I figured my odds of getting pregnant were so low anyway!

@Sunbird24 I think I'm going to follow your aspirin and L-methylfolate plan - I've not tried those yet! How much are you planning to take of each per day?

@Ughmaybenot how are things going with the pregnancy? We love updates here!

@CaribouCarafe the aspirin I discussed with my consultant at the clinic, he recommended 75mg from CD1. The other I’m going to start as soon as it arrives, at whatever dose it says on the packet, same as I would with folic acid

I’m okay thank you. I’m still very sick, throwing up multiple times a day... my throat was bleeding yesterday from how bad I’d been 😅 but I’m just grateful to be here. Just got off the phone to my midwife who has been chasing my 20 week scan as I’m over 18.5 weeks now and heard nothing, but she’s just rung back to say it’s on the 22nd, which is exciting. She also has been saying about anti-emetics again but I don’t really think I need to go down that road. Never say never but I’m coping okay with being so sick without interfering, if that makes sense?

@Sunbird24 keeping everything crossed for it! There’s so much science behind it all isn’t there, it’s actually really amazing when you think of all the stuff behind it.

@CaribouCarafe had horrid arm pain which is easing. Thought I was a bit hot/fevery this am but that seems to have eased a lot so hoping I’m on the mend 🤞🏻 Yeah they’re safe now for pregnant women anyway but exactly wasn’t holding off on the slight chance!

As for the weight thing, not really, I lost just over a stone at the start, and I’ve only put on 2-3 lbs since 😂
No, I can’t wait @Sunbird24 , we’re trying to decide whether we want to know if baby is a boy or a girl before they arrive or whether we should just wait. Think it’ll be a decide on the day job!

@Ughmaybenot you’re deffo gonna find out then if making decision on the day you’ll be too curious!
I personally want to wait as I think you’ll have to find out for a second as make it easier to explain to your firsts so only chance to have a surprise. I do know someone who found out but then didn’t tell anyone else so it was a surprise to everyone so that could be a way to do it?

Supposed to keep the blood flowing nicely I think. Some women can get a bit ‘sticky’ when pregnant. Don’t know if I’m one of them or not but it’s worth trying!

@Sunbird24 ooh that’s interesting, I googled and can see if keeps inflammation down to reduce miscarriage risk so hoping that it works for you this time around ❤️

Well I surprised myself @LS2020 we did not find out! The sonographer wrote it on a bit of paper and put it in a sealed envelope because she could see we were both a bit dithery but haven’t looked and don’t know if we will.

@Ughmaybenot Aw bless you both! I’m going to push my agenda on you that I think it’s nicer to keep the first one a surprise as everyone’s always told me you need to find out for the second so you can explain easier to the first! But Everyone at work who’s been off on mat leave with their first recently has found out so I can understand wanting to prepare.
Also yes scan pics! I need something to keep me going til next week 😊
