@thislittlebird I take the Zita West Vitafem, which is one that Rebecca Fett recommends on the uk vits section of her website. It's only 400mg folate though so I take another 400mg separately. Last bottle of ZW I bought for £14 on Amazon

@KatRee I take Sita west too but didn't realise the folate wasn't enough. Is it not the standard dose?

@ElsieG3m 400mg is the standard does, but in the 'starts with the egg' book, 800mg is recommended

@Noodella18 re your earlier ovulation, did you change anything to bring it forward or just luck this month?

@thislittlebird I know the feeling! I can't wait to move. We bought this flat as a short term thing (wanted to buy a house in two years), we've been here 4 years now! Covid defo played a part in the delay, the bastard.
Pregnacare has folic acid in.

@thislittlebird Proceive has Methyl-folate in also I think, but this month I'm taking Zita West also. I didn't up my folate, maybe I need to do that next month, but I spent so much on pills this month I kind of drew a line

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 yeah moving from SE London to Bucks which is where I'm originally from. Dh is a Londoner though so he's less excited than me 😂 I can't wait for village life again, can tell I'm getting old now can't ya 😆 tbh it's what you get for your money as well. We're going from a one bed flat to a 4 bed detached house!

@ElsieG3m I haven't really decided whether I'm going to do it next month or not, but I tried soy isoflavones to bring ovulation forwards. It has some mixed success, but for me it made me ovulate on CD14 on the two months I took it. About six days earlier than the previous few months. I didn't take it this month because I had blood tests and Dr said to skip it for them, and I didn't ovulate til CD17 this month.

@notyetamumbuttrying you never know he might love it when he gets there!! 💯 on the more for your money. That's very exciting! We live in a flat and trying to figure out next move. Want a few more years in London but it's too small to stay here. And we can't afford a house in our area 😂

@elsieg3m ohhh right, when fingers crossed your period stays away! Cycle 1 i was taking pregnacare and cycle 2 i was taking vit b complex and I think both of those delayed my ovulation. This time I just took folic acid and vit d and seems to have done the trick!

BFN at a very optimistic 8dpo 😄 we're on holiday from tomorrow so hopefully that will take my mind off wanting to test

We could never afford a house here, maybe a 2 bed maisonette or something, but that's not what we wanted. I get to be closer to my parents, sister and friends now which will be ideal if we did get pregnant!
What are your catchment areas like close by? Would you consider going out there?

@notyetamumbuttrying Its really not out in the middle of nowhere - he can be back to see friends regularly etc. A proper house will make all the difference. We really love the exact area we live in, helpfully 😂 it's central, villagey feel, lots of parks and greens, and can both walk to work in 20 mins. Just can't afford too much here 😂 We looked a few minutes away, but we want to live exactly here. So it's our own fault

@Noodella18 that's all I was on when TTC my daughter. I'm doing more now because of my age but part of me does wonder whether keeping it really simple and just focussing on stress and loving well would be a better approach. Such a minefield! Hope you have a brilliant holiday!! That will be just the ticket x

Another bfn this end and light spotting has started 2 days early so that's me out. Second Covid jab tomorrow so the positive is I'll be fully dosed for next cycle!
